I thought so, because if anyone reporting was having a real meltdown, it would be cut straightaway by the people monitoring the broadcast, in fact, in most professional 'live' broadcasts, there is a purposeful delay between the action and it airing on people's screens (about 5 to 10 seconds) and the reason for this is to allow for time to cut in the event of anything unplanned happening that might put the broadcaster in legal trouble and the delay basically helps to limit the amount of bad stuff that gets aired, eg, if a news reporter REALLY flipped and started hurling abuse, it would be cut and only a small part of it might go out. That's a safeguard they have in place.
