Thaks for the video. I'm looking to purchase one of these. As a country & country rock player I only wish you would have demoed more tones in between the clean and crunch. I agree with your assessment, the Bogner has better clean tones. Thanks.
Great review & demo on theses mini's. If I wasn't already modeling I would definitely be looking at that Solo for $250. Into a 25w greenback, that 30 watts would drive it into some nice speaker breakup.
im curious to this myself. I watched the vid where RB was on a zoom call with the video op, and he pretty much designed the circuit stage, I wonder if this was the case with Mike Soldano designing the Soldano. I would think so, but Bogner was pretty direct with how he did his based on his experience with the pedals he designed.
@@MusicWithMarky And it definitely feels more right on the Soldano with that Dokken vibe. Who has the money for a legit SLO100, but it would be cool to see this mini stacked against a Kemper capture and/or AxeFX model.
What great content, super glad i discovered you! Really underrated and thorough reviews
Thanks so much!!
Have the Bogner and love it... this coming from a tube purist snob 👍🎸
Nice demo ! Thank you for this video !
Thank YOU!
Love the sound for both amps, but i prefer bogner
That mix was sick!
Thanks!
This is a great video. Im a hair metal guy so id go with the soldano
Thanks!
Does that mean since I don't have any hair anymore, I have to get the Bogner?
can we use at same time,,, two 8 ohm,,, or two 4 ohm cabs

If you are looking for tones that are more light crunch, the Bog is definitely a better choice.
The Bogner sounds so sweet and elegant!
I agree.
I went for the mini SLO and I love it but, the Bogner was the 1st runner up.
I was truly amazed at how great they both sound!
Bogner has more warmth. Better for classic rock.
I felt that way too.

Me too with the modeling. But I'm going to keep these things around anyway because I was so impressed with how they sounded!
Bogner in the mix all day and night and situation. I just wish these had effect loops.
There is an FX loop in the back. I should have mentioned that!!
Bogner/Soldano - 10/9
The Bogner sounds the most flexible and big to me.

Do they sound good at low volume?
Very much so. I was extremely impressed with that.
Great riff at 7:01. Use it for real if you haven't already!
Thanks man! I shall do so!

That's a pretty good idea. A model of the expensive soldano versus the $250 mini.
They sound like toys. “Mano a Mano”? But they don’t have hands!
My Bogner sounds killer thru a 2x12 cab with 2 25watt greenbacks
I'm amazed at how good both of these sound.
Wear you find them for that price I'd have. A half dozen of each
Sweetwater has them. I put links in the description.
I promise you that 30 50 watts of real tube power will not break your windows.
bogner it is
Neither, I'd get the Freedman version or the Diezel version
Nah those are the two worst ones.
Maybe I'm snoob, but i really don't like any of this tones. Sounds weird.
Nothing wrong with that. If we all liked the same thing, there would only ever need to be one amp and one guitar.
I agree with you but I think the problem comes from a bad microphone or mic placement or something like that.
