we are forced to park our carts on the outer perimeter, no carts in aisle. Unless you take someone with you willing to stand watch there is no way to be with your stuff 100%.
Something weird has been happening with the bins code of honor lately. A few weeks ago I was chatting with a lady who had had her goods rifled through while she ran to her car -- they took good stuff and her personal IKEA bag, and she was scrambling to make the weight threshhold again. I was also having people literally pick out from underneath my arms at old bins that had been out for hours because they noticed I was pulling good stuff that had been ignored.
I went to the same bins you do on Tuesday and today. Tuesday I put my cart by the wall covered and when I went back to it it was gone 😰. Luckily I just got there and only had a few items in it. 😰. Still so frustrating.
Is that the one in Greenwood(ish)? I just want to go get stuff for my family like fabric to make my girls dresses, etc. But experiences like this make me wonder! What is a lowkey day? is there a lowkey day? :D
I am so sorry that you had items stolen from you. I love the bins and always keep my cart close to me, but I put stuff in my Ikea bag if I am worried. I saw a young lady in tears recently because someone had taken all of her stuff. So frustrating! It is too bad that something so fun can be a bummer because of a jerk. Thank you for sharing everything with us. I love your channel. Cheers to better bins trips.
Girl def time for that XL haulken bag. No more carts and an XL def hold 2 carts of stuff and soooooo smooth to move around with you. Just tuck it under the bin as you go
Great haul! That sucks about about someone stealing from your cart. After it happened to me the second time, I started putting a large note/sign on top of my belongings that says, "DO NOT REMOVE ITEMS" (bright red and pink ink!). I keep a few in my car so I always have it. I haven't had an issue since. The last time it happened, thankfully I found the lady and got my stuff back. It was a whole bunch of great bags, including a gorgeous vintage green suede Coach backpack that I did sell for about $100. Hope to make it to your Whatnot show.
I have seen this start to happen at my bins. They announce that you have to stay with your cart at all times and don't really let us park our carts but some do for a bit while new bins are coming out. I stay with my cart always and don't rush the new bins but wait till it dies down a bit and then get in. I do have to leave my cart if I use the restroom but so far I haven't had any thieves. If it did happen I would report the person if I knew who it was. My bins is pretty strict and will kick people out if they are stealing.
That’s so obnoxious of people to go through your cart. I’m in Colorado and when I first started thrifting at the Bins people would cover their carts. Now nobody covers their cart… except me lol. I thought I was being paranoid, but this proves I’m not!! So sorry that happened to you. 😢
I went to the Denver Bins last week and had a lady steal two Coach purses out of my cart. Well, one distracted me another stole. So I cursed the purses to be fake crap as I hadn't looked them over yet. Didn't notice till they were gone. Theives are spirituality broke anyway. Maybe I'll put a big pic of Jesus in my cart, on top of my good finds.
People literally try to take stuff out of my cart, at the regular thrift store. I am right in front of it, literally looking at the racks. I look over and they are looking at things in my cart. Once they see me look, they say "I didn't know this was someone's cart." I have also had people come up to me and ask me if I have certain sizes, in MY cart. It is absolutely insane. I only go to regular thrift stores, because the bins scares me lol. The one by me has a 2 star rating and all the complaints are the regulars being aggressive.
Rebekah! Seriously. I was on the ground a few weeks ago trying to find the match to a shoe. Fast forward I was home, and earlier that day I bought a $30 lottery ticket, and I was so excited to scratch with my husband. And it was gone, gone gone gone. I know it happened while I was looking for that shoe. My purse wasn't zipped because I was using my phone. But that was a lesson learned. I was so bummed. but with that, I felt so so bad someone grabbed something out of my purse. I don't take my purse anymore. : (
I am so sorry that this happened to you! I just keep my one cart with me, but even on my last trip someone started going through my cart with me standing there. I just said excuse me? And he apologized and walked off.
I was walking around goodwill, the store, not the bins. Was there about 15 minutes. Had about 7 items. This lady walks up and takes one of my items out of my cart as I was shopping (my hands on the cart) and she says oh this is nice. I say yes its mine please put it back. She says, well obviously its not going to fit YOOOOUUUU...I want it and hugs the Neon Nike Pullover to her chest. I say no, I am not interested in giving it away. She puts it back but starts ruffling through the rest of my things!.."oh you have good taste!" She says. "Please can I have this Nike Pullover? Pleeeeasseee" she begs. I had to actually yell at her then as I was trying to shop, in a kind of a hurry...and I sort of yell "put it down and go away now". (And I never yell). Well she keeps following me around. I just couldn't shop like that and I left the store. Whew. It stresses me out just thinking of that again LOL. Strange people. I had about 15 more minutes to shop but well, things happen.
I akways take big bags to put my finds in and I tie the top then put them upside down....I had a guy try to snag a camo jacket out of my cart so now I bring bags....
Yes this happens at my bins too especially if someone sees u find something good. So I keep a cart to sort things and keep my bread n butter stuff in. Then I keep a large reusebale bag with me with my really good stuff in it. That bag doesn't leave my arm unless I'm sorting on the side.
One of the reasons I never shopped the bins was past postings by others who said that in their bins, you have to have someone watch the cart constantly for this very reason. Add to that, pushing, reaching over, grabbing stuff and general aggression. I'm glad that your bins is typically more mellow than that.
Wow Bekah great haul and way to keep your head up! People are crazy!! You always get such amazing stuffs!! I’ve been cross listing all my stuff to eBay and kinda having a rough time with watchers and “potential buyers” I send great offers but have no response and I’ve even tried to message the buyer first and tell them like let me know what price is doable to get you this item!! Frustrating but thanks to you and helping me with brands I think my stores are not so shabby!! Be safe out there and catch you on the next amazing video!! Any advice for offers to watchers would be soooo helpful!!
That's what I'm afraid of if I go to the bins - having obnoxious people stealing and being aggressive. However, you came away with so many fabulous things anyway. My favorite item in your haul are the pair of tall Ugg boots! I want them!
I’ve had things stolen from my cart before. It’s the worst feeling. I’ve also had my whole cart stolen AND the workers have taken my full cart and dumped it in the back as they called out while I went to the bathroom. They refused to let me try and recover the items, so they went off into the landfill. 5 hours of shopping wasted and I was PISSED. If I find anything great I’ll check it out and put in my car. Hopefully it was just a one off for you!
I bring the zipper version of ikea bag and put a lagguage lock on it. It also has a writing on it to back off, items not for grabs. Works perfect perfectly!
I know just how you feel! I sell my original watercolor paintings In a booth. A very enthusiastic lady Purchased a16 by 20Painting painting from me and paid for it with her credit card Which was approved Through square. The next month I got a notification from square that she had Rejected the charge Saying that she didn't recognize it. I went through the dispute process, but in the end she prevailed. Which means that she not only My money, but she still has my painting! I learned a lesson that day!
Ive been to the Taft Goodwill bins in Orlando there is one group of people that are super agressive they will move you out of the way to get to a bin. It's definitely not for the faint of heart. Its unfortunant that some people dont know how to behave in public. I just got approved to sell on Whatnot but my fulltime job owns me. I'll follow you on Whatnot. Thanks for the video
Get a cart full, check out and take it to your car and then go back. You handled it so professional ❤️. Love your videos. You are my favorite thrifter.
Yay for boy's clothes!! I have two little guys and love buying them quality second hand things. How PERFECT would that mini boden sweater be for the kids' Christmas pictures or getting a tree 🎄 🤩
I am so sorry that happened to you. What is wrong with some people? I haven’t mustered the courage to go to the bins and your stories solidifies it for me. I re-sell as a hobby and don’t want to deal with people pushing and stealing. I live in Cincinnati and that is a Cincinnati Reds hat. Love your channel!
I have shopped GW outlets since 1995. I used to not have a problem with the crowds and pushy people. I have anxiety issues now so if I go I stay away from the new tables and let the vultures have their pick. I have picked plenty of great things after the vultures. For the price per item you spend in the end it is worth the dig sometimes.
I went to the bins for the first time yesterday… people are wild. I just prayed and thanked God for letting me get what is meant for me because I don’t have time to run to bins 😅🤣 When I had a full cart I just checked out since people are crazy. I had a girl keep looking at me and my cart. I’m sorry someone stole from you. People reap what they sow.
Just let the vultures do their thing and when the bin is empty go in and look. I do it all time. 99% of the time my good finds come from empty bins already searched through. The people who act like that are idiiots and they prove it my missing the good stuff lol.
Your video came across my search, and am now subscribed. Thank you so much for the what to look for thrifting, you are very informative and such a pleasure to listen to!!
The Indy bins are where I go. I commented the other day that I didn’t go very often because you have to have self defense training to survive them. It gets crazy sometimes.
First bins I ever went to in Greensboro, NC is frequented by people who may be one of those gangs of people. I had a bin blue bin thing they give you like a cart with like a dictionary(i'm sue I'm the only one who loves finding and buying them :-p) and may be one other item. The bins are so jammed together I left it in the middle and walked a bit down to just glance in the other bins. When I walked back over, it was may be 5 feet away from, someone had taken it. I went to see if the like 2 items I had were put back and they were not. I do not think my things were taken to be bought but to be intimiating like this is our bins. I have seen that same people everytime I've been there. They fill cart after cart after cart and stack them on the sides
I am amazed at the hatefulness in some of the comments. Girl, ignore the haters & holier than thou folks. Hugs girl. Hope to run into you at the bins or sourcing one of these days. Coffee is on me!
I'm so sorry those scoundrels stole from you! That's so frustrating! One of the employees dumped my bag in the bins while I was going to get a cart. It had my wallet and keys in it! They are out of control up there. Those Docs are amazing, definitely keep them!
Sorry you got robbed. I'd get the ikea bags with the zippers. THEN I would go one step further and get a lock to lock it and a bungee to attach to your cart. Put the key around you neck on a necklace. This may seem overkill, but it won't happen again. If you don't have an ikea near you, I do. I'm more than happy to pick up bags and ship to you at cost. I pass by the ikea weekly. No problem at all. Just let me know. Whatever you choose, you need to secure it shut and secure to your cart. Or. You need a thrifting partner who will take turns looking and sorting so someone would alway be at the cart. You could also get a hulken bag and keep with you.
Love that idea and do use a bag to put the real good stuff in, but now will be taking one of those clipping totes to keep it in place! Thanks for the tips!
I have never been to the bins and don't think I could handle that type of environment. It seems very competitive and doesn't surprise me to hear that someone took things from your cart. I have actually had someone take things out of my cart at just a normal Goodwill dollar day sale, so I can understand how you must have felt. On the bright side though... Thank goodness it wasn't anything worse... when I saw your thumbnail title I thought that your personal property/purse was stolen! Be careful!
Omg this happened to me too today!!!! Recently the bins have been chill in my area, but this week something happened and people are loosing their minds. Today I came in later, and didn’t get a cart at first, so I was using a laundry basket, when I saw someone checked out and leave a cart, I went to get it and put the laundry basket in the cart. Also in my outlet we are not allowed to have carts in the aisles while they are bringing/ removing bins and for the first 3 minutes after they told us “go”. So everyone has to leave the cart at some point, so I come back after a fresh rotation and see that my cart is gone, but the laundry basket is on the floor on the same spot with all the items still in, so I was alright someone stole my cart lol so one more fresh rotation later, I come back and the cart is back and the laundry basket is back in the cart!!!! I thought ok, someone needed to move furniture or something but at least they were nice to return it. Then I leave the cart and go for another rotation and I return to one of the regulars gleefully digging through it, after catching her, she just mutters an excuse and disappears, so I looked at the contents of the cart and see that 2 items are missing. Obviously I suspect the woman who was digging in, but then I see those two items in the cart next to me!!!! There are three older ladies just shamelessly went through my cart and didn’t even bother hiding the items. I wanted to confront them at first, but then decided it’s not worth it, because they were more crazy cat ladies types so I let it go. And earlier this week another instance I caught one of the regulars going through my cart and even checking the price of the items on ebay, and it was someone who was friendly with me before. After confronting him, he told me he thought the cart was abandoned, but I just only went to the bathroom, so the cart was only unattended for 2-3 minutes, plus he said hello earlier to me while I was holding one of the items. So he just saw me going to the bathroom and decided to take advantage. Anyways wishing everyone safe and prosperous digging 🙏🏻🤍
@@AndreaGrinoldsSoap at my location at least, they can be asked to leave for the rest of the day without purchasing their items if they broke one of the rules or were aggressive to other customers. I saw two times people being kicked out, but they were back next day with no problem.
That happened to me..found cowboy boots...yup... got them back....pluse.....I was shoved in the shoe area..guy was kicked out out for 6 months. You keep those sandles and enjoy them.😊 hugs
Ugh, terrible that somebody would steal stuff. I've heard of that happening, but have never experienced it. And I've had to go to the bathroom a couple times during shopping trips!
Over the past few years, people have just lost common decency and rudeness has become commonly accepted, the whole attitude of entitlement and every man for himself. It's very dispiriting and often anger-inducing. It's not just at the bins but everywhere, sadly. I'm glad you came away with so many awesome things despite the thief.
Hi Rebekah..I’m a new subscriber to your channel as of now!! I really feel bad that you lost those two items to thieves at “the bins” of all places, but you got some great shoes, boots & etc! Good for you girl!!
I have also been robbed at the bins. I’m not sure if anyone suggested but may be getting the big blue IKEA bags that zip and then putting everything in there. Just an idea. Thanks for a great video!
So many amazing finds… I wish that I had been able to attend your Whatnot show. Give us all the details, will you be making a follow up video about that?
You are so lucky!!! The bins in SLC are so small and very trashy, you don’t find a lot of good pieces, mostly walmart and cheap brands, the shoes are not sorted, they are with a lot of trash and they get pretty damaged, also very small place and packed with people 😢, you’re so lucky to have nice Goodwill bins, I’m so jealous! Love your videos!
FIRST, you HAVE to keep those Docs…you earned them for sure!! I’m so sorry you had items snagged from your cart. That happened to me once at the bins a few years back…maybe that’s why I haven’t returned to the bins. And it happened right in front of me…the audacity! I shouted OUT LOUD ‘I’m standing RIGHT HERE!!’ both in English and in Spanish because I had heard her speaking in Spanish. She started apologizing in Spanish and dropped what she had in her hands. It takes the joy out of things at times. P.S. I’ll be waiting for that gray Eileen Fisher long cardigan. Stand back peeps, I need goodness in my life!! Thanks for sharing. Okay, byeeeeee!! 🫶🏽💃🏻
Awwww, I was scared people might be angry with me for keeping them! 🙈 You’re so sweet! SHUT UP. The AUDACITY. And the fake excuses. I cannot. 🙄 YESSSSSSS!!! I need someone who will appreciate that cardigan to get it! It’s GORGEOUS. 😍
That's been happening to a ton of resellers lately 😢 so sad you wven have to worry about it. I take a hulken with me instead of using a cart and it stays with me the entire time. Might be worth the investment. Also, take out your phone and snap of pic of them next time. Show the managers and see if you can get them booted. People will continue doing those things until there's a reason not too.
Usually when we go to the bins, we have big black trash bags, as soon as I fill up a basket with clothes or shoes, they go in to the bags and in to the cart, that way people can’t see what you have in there and we check out all the things in the bags and are ready to go in to the car, easy and convenient and you don’t even need a blanket to cover your car, hope this helps
I'm really impressed with your finds at the bins. The past few weeks have been so bad for me at the bins in Austin, TX I nearly gave up. No shoe rotation, and mostly summer items of low value. Do you ever have weeks like that, or is it just where I live?
When you’re checking out, the goodwill employees should be able to take off security tags. Since they’re so many different kinds, sometimes the magnet they have may not work, but if it’s a good item it’s worth a try.
Lady called me rude one time because I grabbed my personal bag faster than she did 🤣🤣🤣 I wanted to try few sweaters in front of the mirror and did put my cross body bag on the side 🙈 she was passing by and reached for it but I grabbed it faster, I opened my bag and showed her my personal things and ID but still was called rude 😂 I stay away from her now every time I see her 🤣
I rarely shop at the bins as the closest is an hour and a half away. Plus I work full time. :) I’ve been burned on WnatNot, so bummed that some of your recent hauls are for that platform. I have grandbabies and saw some fun items!!
That's a bummer! I used to live super far away from the bins too! Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that! Would you mind telling me what happened? I'd be curious to know what happened!
Yes that happens and alot of people I know will take their stuff check out and start over. It's the best way. I know I have some stuff stolen as well but I only have 1 basket not 2 they just pull out if they can see it. It is so ignorant to do that!!!
Good video .... I was just wondering , can you not buy a security tag remover ? Also , do you plan on showing your whatnot sale on youtube ? Have A Great Day !
Oh ya I haven’t been to the bins yet. I guess it’s like 3 something a lb in California so when I do go I’ll probably go to San Diego which should have amazing stuffs I hope
I'm sorry this happened to you. I don't *think* it's happened to me, but I have heard that it's a common issue at our bins. People put blankets over their stuff like you do, but obviously from your experience, that doesn't necessarily help. I know it's kind of a pain, but I ALWAYS bring my cart with me wherever I go (I believe we're limited to only having one cart, but the regulars that are buddy buddy with the bins workers probably have more than one for all I know), but I also don't fight the crowds to get to new bins either (they get pretty aggressive/crazy imo and I just don't want to deal with that shit, and honestly the few times I tried, I never found anything better than I find waiting for the crowd to disperse anyway), so I can keep my cart close to me easier for that reason too. I saw someone's comment about a zipped bag--I like that idea! I use a big Ikea bag, but it doesn't zip.
I just left the regular goodwill and went to the restroom and someone went through my cart and stole a 109 percent cashmere out by buggy. I didn’t notice till I got home. I was bummed out it was priced at 2 bucks and like new condition
Went to the bins first time last week holy crap its insane lol. I have told people excuse me multiple times to get them to back off. Everyone seems to be focused clothing I usually head towards the good stuff (ceramics and glass). Found many good deal this past week.
Some Goodwills announce that no carts can be left unattended, and they threaten to unload back to the bins, so people will go thru unattended bins due to that ( Delaware),not that I agree. This Goodwill can have such crazed shoppers that Last Feb, I was rammed so hard by the cart behind me I hit the cement, the cart behind me continuted to push over me, I had a rotator cuff tear and a fractured rib. Attorney told me I would have had to called police and then sued the shopper ! and they also said suing people who shop at Goodwill is a case NO lawyer will take since usually people shopping at Goodwill do not have assets ( or so a Judge would think). SHOP at your own risk at Goodwill bins in Delaware and try to bring a friend. and treat them to lunch :)
I'm sorry that happened to you. But I have to say, as a Goodwill Employee, we tell people every day and even announce over the PA system at our store that we only allow one cart per person and, though noone abides by the rules, we also tell people to keep their Carts with them at all times. When we have time, which is not often, we actually take unattended Carts into the back, empty them into tables, then return the empty Carts to the cart corral area.
My husband watched someone shop from someone else’s cart at the bins. He later told the person and she went and retrieved what he took from him. They guy didn’t say a word, he knew he had been caught. Sorry to say I think it happens a lot!
I don’t know how people make it at bin stores. I’ve never been to a Goodwill bins but I’ve been to many other bin stores and I’m usually ready to fight someone by the time I leave there. People are so rude. They step in front of you. Grab things your looking at.
I had someone steal my Disney bag that I brought with me to carry my items out! So ironically, they ended up paying for something I brought into the bins lol. I now cover my cart and constantly watch it if I'm not near it just in case, and that's only during a new rotation, otherwise my cart is with me. Anything I think might catch someone's eye to steal, I bury it in my cart. I also bring my cheap tjmaxx bags that I wouldn't be sad about losing if it were to happen again. People are ruthless!
This happened to me at the Salvation Army. They had the 50% sale and bins of clothing. As I was picking through my clothing and tossing in my cart. A lady came by and was about to look in my cart. I was like those are mine. She apologized and walked off. I don't get people sometimes.
Ugh I was going to ask you if any of the 3 bins in Indy are less scary because we were thinking of hitting one of those instead of Muskegon Mi. Back to Muskegon I go!!
i have EAGLE eyes on me at my bins in Hawaii, bc apparently everyone is impressed at the luxury items i'm able to recognize and score. However, there are FAR more shitty ppl at the Gary, Ind, bins where i've been stolen from a lot. the best items i bury to the bottom of my cart, or keep close to my chest in a backpack. when i've noticed before i check out, i will snatch my shit back from those ppl's cart.
I had some pots and pans and some one stole them from my cart my son was so upset now I take my cart with me I'm sorry it happy to u God will bless us with better things
A lady took my cart with 5 pairs of shoes in it at Goodwill last weekend. She had one the shoes on and had added her stuff to my cart. I was 8 ft away on the other side of the round rack.
I’m pretty sure they know it’s someone’s stuff. A thief masters the art of deception. I learn a lot about the bins on this page. I definitely have to work up the nerve to go to a Goodwill outlet.
I went to my bins yesterday and the women gang up 2-3 and fill their carts with clothes they haven’t even looked at they pile them up so high and cover the carts. Then they look in the bins and shop for what they might have missed. Then they will go their their 3 carts and look at what they might have picked up. It totally sucks that people do this. I want to complain. Here me out- my bins is 2.99 in Orange County Calif. this location only has clothes. Hours are m-f 9-2 and NO swapping out bins sat they are opened until 3… oh yeah. And Sunday they are closed. You need to take someone to keep an eye on your items. Sorry for what happened. Makes me furious 🤬
Hi I go to your local bins I’ve seen you before but to shy to say hello… Honestly watch your car too. I drive a charger and came back to my car one day it look like someone started to try to pry open my door. Have you checked out the other Indy bins they seem not as crazy but I never make it around to them.
I use a blanket on top too but after several of my items were stolen I added an extra measure. When I’ve decided I 100% want an item I put it in a giant zippered bag. I haven’t had any issues since. They call them moving bags on Amazon etc.
That's a great idea!
Such a shame you have to resort to this trouble, just to keep thieves away from your stuff!!! 🙄🙄🙄😳😳😳😬😬
I actually bought them for moving and still use them for storage. They're great.
Do those fit inside a cart? Do you lock it somehow? Do you strap it to your cart somehow?
NEVER, NEVER!! LEAVE YOUR STUFF ALONE!! PEOPLE DO HAVE THE NERVE 😮😮
we are forced to park our carts on the outer perimeter, no carts in aisle. Unless you take someone with you willing to stand watch there is no way to be with your stuff 100%.
@sk8rmom46 Can you take a bag to fill with you and then go back to your cart?
Yeah I just had my cart stolen today after wasting 2 hours digging through stuff. I'm never leaving my cart again

Girl def time for that XL haulken bag. No more carts and an XL def hold 2 carts of stuff and soooooo smooth to move around with you. Just tuck it under the bin as you go
I've got to buy one of those! I'm tired of this nonsense!! 🙈
I had never heard of this bag. I just looked it up, and it looks amazing! Thank you so much for recommending it. 😊
@@jewelsbarbie it’s the best, rolls so smoothly and holds a ton!
Great haul! That sucks about about someone stealing from your cart. I keep a few in my car so I always have it. I haven't had an issue since. The last time it happened, thankfully I found the lady and got my stuff back. Oh my word!!!! I’ve never had that happen other than at the bins, and that shocks me! People literally have such audacity. 🙈
Rebekah! Seriously. I was on the ground a few weeks ago trying to find the match to a shoe. Fast forward I was home, and earlier that day I bought a $30 lottery ticket, and I was so excited to scratch with my husband. And it was gone, gone gone gone. That is literally despicable. Devastating and disgusting to me that someone would have the audacity to look in your purse. I am so sorry, friend. 🙁
I love how you say “button”, it’s so cute !
I am so sorry that this happened to you! I just keep my one cart with me, but even on my last trip someone started going through my cart with me standing there. I just said excuse me? And he apologized and walked off.
haha same it is so weird
So good to meet you on Monday! I swear that place gets crazier and crazier.
Yes this happens at my bins too especially if someone sees u find something good. So I keep a cart to sort things and keep my bread n butter stuff in. Then I keep a large reusebale bag with me with my really good stuff in it. That bag doesn't leave my arm unless I'm sorting on the side.
Great idea!!! I need to do that now. I am too trusting in other people!!
Works perfect
perfectly!
I go to the Taft bins occasionally and you are so right! The same group is always there and they’re very aggressive and rude. Good luck!
Get a cart full, check out and take it to your car and then go back. You handled it so professional ❤️. Love your videos. You are my favorite thrifter.
That’s exactly what I do people are so weird at the Bins
Yay for boy's clothes!! I have two little guys and love buying them quality second hand things. How PERFECT would that mini boden sweater be for the kids' Christmas pictures or getting a tree 🎄 🤩
Oh my gosh!!!!! My heart can’t handle the cuteness!!!! It would be a perfect Christmas season sweater! 😍
I just prayed and thanked God for letting me get what is meant for me because I don’t have time to run to bins 😅🤣
When I had a full cart I just checked out since people are crazy.
OMGOSH I cant wait for the show! I NEED that Goofy!!!!!!!! lol
I am amazed at the hatefulness in some of the comments. Girl, ignore the haters & holier than thou folks. Hugs girl. Hope to run into you at the bins or sourcing one of these days. Coffee is on me!
Thank you for all the great information
U sound like such a sweetheart
If we report the thieves, can we get them banned?
@@AndreaGrinoldsSoap at my location at least, they can be asked to leave for the rest of the day without purchasing their items if they broke one of the rules or were aggressive to other customers. I saw two times people being kicked out, but they were back next day with no problem.
@@LubaShul I'd be good with ruining one day.
The last time I was at the Indy bins location on the west side of town, the workers were emptying people's carts that were covered.
Ahhh those Docs!! And I am loving the kids
Hi Rebekah..I’m a new subscriber to your channel as of now!! I really feel bad that you lost those two items to thieves at “the bins” of all places, but you got some great shoes, boots & etc! Good for you girl!!
Can't wait until Sunday. Sorry about what happened at the bins, but sadly I am not surprised. Happy thrifting. 😊
I have also been robbed at the bins. I’m not sure if anyone suggested but may be getting the big blue IKEA bags that zip and then putting everything in there. Just an idea. Thanks for a great video!
Those union jack shoes are such a cool, interesting find. I'm setting a reminder for your whatnotshow.
What an amazing haul! Such great items! I’m so sorry people were dumb enough to take your things.
Cute puppy in background ❤ great haul thank u😊
So many amazing finds… I wish that I had been able to attend your Whatnot show. Give us all the details, will you be making a follow up video about that?
You are so lucky!!! The bins in SLC are so small and very trashy, you don’t find a lot of good pieces, mostly walmart and cheap brands, the shoes are not sorted, they are with a lot of trash and they get pretty damaged, also very small place and packed with people 😢, you’re so lucky to have nice Goodwill bins, I’m so jealous! Love your videos!
Omg! Brutal times! I’m glad you got some goodies anyway. Bookmarked your whatnot shows!! Can’t wait. Were you at the Indy bins?
Awwww, you’re so sweet! Yes, I was at the Indy bins! I’m excited to see you at the Whatnot show!
Hi there! I carry the "important" things in a large bag on my shoulder and leave the stuff in my covered cart that I'm on the fence about.
You did great!! You always find the best stuff. So sorry you got robbed. I use my ikea bags.
That’s a blessing what someone took from u
I'm really impressed with your finds at the bins. The past few weeks have been so bad for me at the bins in Austin, TX I nearly gave up. No shoe rotation, and mostly summer items of low value. Do you ever have weeks like that, or is it just where I live?
When you’re checking out, the goodwill employees should be able to take off security tags. Since they’re so many different kinds, sometimes the magnet they have may not work, but if it’s a good item it’s worth a try.
Sorry to hear what happened to you, yes that does happen, it is very wrong!
I just found your video. Loved , I subscribed.
I found a pair of Agolde jeans in the bins today and only recognized that brand from you mentioning. Thank you!
Lady called me rude one time because I grabbed my personal bag faster than she did 🤣🤣🤣 I wanted to try few sweaters in front of the mirror and did put my cross body bag on the side 🙈 she was passing by and reached for it but I grabbed it faster, I opened my bag and showed her my personal things and ID but still was called rude 😂 I stay away from her now every time I see her 🤣
Oh my actual gosh! 😂😂😂 What in the world! That would kill me!
Your hair looks cute up. People can suck at the bins. We've had our whole cart stolen 😢
I’ve heard people using VERY STRONG magnets to remove security tags. I think there’s even a video about it. 🤔🤷🏻♀️🫶🏽
People are teams. If anyone comes up to upi and starts talking, keep your eye on your cart. They know exactly what they're doing.
Good tip!
That's how I got my coach purses stolen last week. I hope I see the lady who had to "show me this great dress" again. I'm going to call her out.
@AndreaGrinoldsSoap that makes me so mad! I'm sorry that happened to you.
Happened with me as well. Someone stole from my cart in thrift store. Was a great feeling..
The bins in our town are awful. Never find anything worth the headache 😢
You are finding great things at the bins😊
I just left the regular goodwill and went to the restroom and someone went through my cart and stole a 109 percent cashmere out by buggy. I didn’t notice till I got home. I was bummed out it was priced at 2 bucks and like new condition
Love the Doc Martins!!! So that happened to you at the bins. People have so much nerve.
Great haul
The bins in Indy have a lot of rude people. I was shocked when I went there. I think I will stick to my little Cincinnati bins😢
Great haul. Sorry about the thief.
Love the items cute boots
This happened to me at the Salvation Army. They had the 50% sale and bins of clothing. As I was picking through my clothing and tossing in my cart. A lady came by and was about to look in my cart. I was like those are mine. She apologized and walked off. I don't get people sometimes.
This has happened to me too. So now I bury anything really great under all the clothes.
Ugh I was going to ask you if any of the 3 bins in Indy are less scary because we were thinking of hitting one of those instead of Muskegon Mi. Back to Muskegon I go!!
This happened to me too. I'm scared to leave my cart now.
Agreed!
i have EAGLE eyes on me at my bins in Hawaii, bc apparently everyone is impressed at the luxury items i'm able to recognize and score.
I have found live bullets in the bins twice!
😳😳😳 Oh my word!
I have also had to tell people at the bins to calm down, they can get pretty wild!
That makes me so mad for you too! I would HATE that too! Ughhhh! Just take what you actually might buy, people!!!
Anyone else watching this wondering why items are "in excellent condition" but noticing all kinds of stains or damage? 🤔
Hi I go to your local bins I’ve seen you before but to shy to say hello… Honestly watch your car too. I drive a charger and came back to my car one day it look like someone started to try to pry open my door. Have you checked out the other Indy bins they seem not as crazy but I never make it around to them.
Put a blanket and a home hood on top of that when you leave your cart. I watched a man so this to someone and I swiped it from him and told her haha
Home goods lol
I need to have you with me, lol! People mess with me all the time!
what goodwill city? and state?
