Oh wow i didn't know you live near Baltimore! Maybe I'll run into you while I'm out sourcing. I love these videos that you do especially with showing the labels. Thanks so much! ❤
Just wanted to let you know that I watched a video of yours and because of your video I was able to know a brand right away and I was able to pick it up at a great price and cant wait to sell it. Thanks so much, I am super excited.
Thanks for the video. Most of the brands mentioned were expected but Torrid as number one was a surprise. I would like to learn about the Anthropology brands and the Aritzia brands please.
I got a vuori piece in a thredUP rescue box recently where the inner tags were missing and it had that little patch on it. It sold sooooo fast for $42. Probably could have gotten more but 🤷🏼♀️
Hi Rebekah good morning happy Monday morning and I hope you having amazing weekend and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter and I'm proud of you
I’m shocked to see Torrid at #1, it always sells for me but not for great money! Zara takes forever for me to sell & I don’t get much for the items. I have never found LuLuLemon or Johnny Was in the bins but I’m still looking! Thanks for sharing!
Torrid is surprising. I hardly ever pick it up. I did pick up 2 dresses yesterday. One 6X NWT and the other for me, but it didn't look good on me, so I listed it.
Every Torrid piece I've had has sold pretty quickly so that one isn't too surprising for me. Madewell is one I struggle to sell. I had a few pieces that went after a bit of time, but I've had so many that I THOUGHT would be good sellers just sit and sit. And I've only had one Lululemon piece in my closet that just does not attract interest. Zara is definitely hit or miss for me, and really depends on the piece. It's everywhere in my thrift stores because of where I live maybe, so I frequently pick up the interesting pieces. Great info in this list!
Fun video and thank you so much! I recently picked up Zara NWT dress and it has been sitting there as well as a Torrid top.... crickets on that! Madewell jeans sitting there lonely in my closet too! A good rule of thumb that i try to remember is MOST things are NOT as good as you think they are! i learned this from an old antique dealer. Lane Bryant has always been a great seller for me but not so much lately and they also have a more trendy label called Venezia that I usually pick up for myself and if it doesn't work out I resell it. Thank you for your great video this was very fun and informative.
Wow! So interesting! I found a Vuori sports bra the other day and the next morning I posted it and it sold within 15min - it was so cute and I was hoping to get 1 wear out of it too 😂 it’s really good to know that it’s a top selling brand right now
Loving these brand videos! Trying to learn as many “bang for your buck” brands as possible. Especially since my space is somewhat limited…I will say I do sell a TON of torrid. Doesn’t surprise me that it’s a top seller. Sizes 2 and up do the best. I pick it up always if the price is right 😊
I'm actually not surprised, I love that on Mercari you can see how many views. Torrid is something I always hope to find because I know people are actively looking for it. I live in a rural area and was surprised how many of these brands I have actually sold. I like bread and butter that I know will move fast even if not for much.
I expected torid at about number 5 on the list, and it doesnt surprise me its number one. THe great thing about torrid is that you can find a lot of it and often. Wide calf boots are gold. The reason Torrid does so well is that it is a mall brand but new these items are far from cheap....60-70 for a pair of leggings. Its one of the few plus size specific brands that leans into the edgier side of fashion and for us plus size girls out there that are tired of dressing like Maude from the golden girls its a staple in our wardrobes. I own a lot of Torrid and happily splash it and class it up with a pair of Tory flats or a cozy free people sweater. I would even say to lean into the basics with this brand. You arent going to make hundreds on these pieces but when you are finding 8-10 good condition pieces with each trip to the bins and you are flipping them for 35-60 dollars its nothing to sneeze at. Stay away from graphic prints and the cotton tees and tunics.
The 560 relaxed fit is the best to buy right now ... pretty much anything relaxed or loose fit will sell pretty good right now 527 and silver tab are also good.. 501 has fallen out of favor unless they are 90's or earlier
Thanks for this video, Bekah! I found this super helpful and educational. For ThredUp, I'm actually not surprised that Torrid made the top spot. I'm willing to bet that if this list came from Poshmark, Patagonia would be #1. My Spidey Senses tell me that Zara ranked so high on this list because of the power of fashion bloggers. Every time I'm checking out what they're recommending, somehow, Zara pieces seem to squeeze their way in there! Maybe because of the affordability factor? 🤷🏻♀️
Some Zara pieces are surprisingly high quality. I found a wool coat last year I was going to resell but kept because it felt so nice and I found it in a picked over bin and it was nearly new. A lot of people pass on it too ☺️
@@lonesomebeetroot3376 You've brought up a great point! Something else I totally forgot about are the collabs Zara does. Those pieces have high retail prices like $250-$300 and resell for at $100+.
Torrid always sells for me, even in just fair condition. Usually between $20-50 But I always grab Lululemon used to sell but now it sits for a while. I tend to skip it unless it’s a super popular style. It’s not like before where it would sell same day or within a week
In my very limited experience with reselling, Torrid does sell - but not fast or for good prices. For example, a mint condition summer dress, NWT, typically sells for about 60% off the tag price. Again, if you want quantity, I think Torrid is great. If you are like me and would really prefer to only sell $15-20 and up, Torrid is meh.
I have found Modcloth dresses to sell quickly for me. PICK them up every time I see them when thrifting. Lane Bryant is not a brand that I pick up. Interested to see how that brand performs for you!
Awesome! I would LOVE to see an Anthropologie brands video. You're the best.
I like the idea of “style guide” videos and the brands under Anthro - this is a very informative video - thank you 💖💚
Please do
My number one guarantee sell is the Mens levis 501 jeans with the button fly. Holes or no holes in whatever condition they sell for me ALWAYS
Yes, girl! I'd love both an Anthropologie and a Revolve video. That would be so helpful!
I have a ton of torrid I feel like and it does not move. A year ago though it was flying off my shelves.
New to selling...excited to see you might move here to Indy ...your kindness is so sweet...thank-you for the new info
yesss... ANTHROPOLOGIE VIDEO 😍
Great information. Yes I would love a video and/or list of all the Anthropologie brands
Yes, I’d like to know more on the anthropology brands.
I love the idea of doing a video that breaks down all the labels under Anthropology! Love you videos!!
I found two pair of men's Vuori pants, brand new with tags a month ago and haven't listed yet. I will today.
Keep up the good work. Lots of great info. Lululemon video would be great. And Anthropology. You could make short videos.
Hi Rebekah! We are practically neighbors! I'm from Hagerstown, Md. Love these videos!
OMG ModCloth is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love a vintage dress I got from them!
Thank you for putting all the brands so I can see them. It helped me.😊
My Torrid just sits, but Chico's in larger sizes seems to do well. Thanks for the list!
That’s a great idea, the larger size. I see chicos always.
Oh wow i didn't know you live near Baltimore! Maybe I'll run into you while I'm out sourcing. I love these videos that you do especially with showing the labels. Thanks so much! ❤
Doing an Anthropology brand video would be so helpful!

Yes please go over Anthro brands in a separate video
I just picked up my first Torrid piece at the Bins yesterday. Need to get it listed this week and will let you know how it does.
Loving your videos! Thank you 😊

This was great! Thank you!
Thank you Rebekah!
Torrid is surprising. I hardly ever pick it up. I did pick up 2 dresses yesterday. One 6X NWT and the other for me, but it didn't look good on me, so I listed it.
Great video. What brand is our sweatshirt. So cute.
These videos are so helpful. Would love to see one with Anthro brands. Thanks for your support! ❤
Great video. Thanks
I recently learned that Johnny was has another brand under their umbrella called 4 love and liberty!
Did not know this, thank you for the heads up
Thamk!. Happy thrifting. 😊
You make great content. Thanks for sharing!
Awwwww, you are so incredibly sweet!!
Thank you so much for showing the tags, it helps tremendously!!
The curve love jeans can do really well from Abercrombie! I can usually sell them for about $50 and I did sell a nwt pair before for $75 (:
Thank you for your research.
Thanks for this! I had a feeling about some, but you’re right - some are definitely a surprise!
LOVE this content! Thanks! And count me as one vote for a future video on all of the Anthropologie brands 😊

love the idea of an anthro video! thanks for sharing your insight on everything you have learned...youve been so helpful!!
Lane Bryant sells great for me. Surprised about ModCloth and girl, I would kill to have a pallet of Johnny Was & April Cornell!
I like your sweatshirt and thanks for good info
I would be interested in anthropology brands😊
I’m interested in more videos!!! ANY is great!thankyou!

I live in MN and I have literally never seen Lilly pulitzer lol. I always hear about it online. I see a lot of north face though 😂
Awesome video thanks
I sold a forest animal novelty theme skirt from ModCloth pretty fast . Tho the skirt was absolutely adorable ☺️
Hey Bekah, thank you for this video and a big yes to the Anthropologie brands video (:
Thank you!
I’m surprised Athleta wasn’t on the list. I sell it all the time pretty fast
thanks for making this series!!
Yep torrid and lane Bryant are my bread and butter.
Great information! I appreciate all of the hard work you put into these informational videos!
Omg! After watching your videos, I scored an Adrianne Pappel dress at the bins!! I can’t find the size though
Found one today! Vuori jacket pullover. Tag right where it should go and on side.
Love the brand videos! Tyty

Really interesting info!
Torrid Brand New Is Extremely Expensive, So The Resale Market Is A Great Alternative at A Lower Price.
I have some NWT Torrid bralettes I purchased for my daughter - but she doesn’t want them. I’m wondering if those will sell. Guess I’ll find out!
I would love a video about which brands are sold at Anthropology! Thank you!

Zara (and Old Navy) is also one of the top Uptown Cheapskate’s brand.
Thank you so much. I saw torrid at goodwill store. Didn’t buy it. I will next time. Same for lane Bryant
We hope YOU are doing so so well too😘
The 560 relaxed fit is the best to buy right now ... pretty much anything relaxed or loose fit will sell pretty good right now
527 and silver tab are also good..
501 has fallen out of favor unless they are 90's or earlier
I like plus size ModCloth dresses, they always get a lot of attention but don’t always sell as high as I would like. It really just depends.

Nike has been #1 on Poshmark for years

You look GREAT🙂😍!
Found myself a johnny was beautiful embroidered piece but it was being sold at the goodwill near me for 75$ 😓
Torrid and lane bryant are expensive retail. There's also Eloquii and asos.
Anthropologie replaced their house brand “Saturday/Sunday” a few years ago with “Daily Practice,” FYI. 😊
I’d love to see a Anthropologie video. I know some of the brands for sure but I’d love to see know.
I love selling vuori!
Omg yes, please do a video about anthropologie ❤
Thank you
Torrid always sells for me, even in just fair condition. Usually between $20-50
But I always grab
Lululemon used to sell but now it sits for a while. I tend to skip it unless it’s a super popular style.
It’s not like before where it would sell same day or within a week
I have torrid coming out my ears, the brand is dead for the most part in my experience
In my very limited experience with reselling, Torrid does sell - but not fast or for good prices. For example, a mint condition summer dress, NWT, typically sells for about 60% off the tag price. Omg I am from Baltimore too.
I am surprised at Torrid, I can't move this brand for the life of me! I really thought Johnny Was would be higher on the list.
I have found Modcloth dresses to sell quickly for me. PICK them up every time I see them when thrifting. Lane Bryant is not a brand that I pick up. Interested to see how that brand performs for you!
The op-shops in my city put higher prices on good brands. $20-50 depending on the brand. 🙁
Plus Sizes sell very well.
