I checked Trailforks yesterday and looks like everything from mushroom lot down is free of snow. Sunday is supposed to be a nice day, so I’ll probably be heading out to Seymour again 😅
@@CoastTimesMTB sweet. Enjoy. I’m heading to Nanaimo on Sunday to ride with some friends. I’ll bring the GoPro. It’s supposed to be pretty gnarly over there.
Oh nice!! We’ve been meaning to get out and ride some more of the Island, hopefully we get out that way soon! Enjoy your ride, I look forward to seeing the video 🤙🏻
Yeah lower boogieman is pretty gnarly! We do have another video on the channel that is Pangor into lower Boogieman and Empress. You should take a look and hopefully you enjoy it!
It was quite daunting, definitely seems higher in person than in the video, but it was also reasonably wide. I think worst case you would be able to carry your bike across while walking on the log.
@@CoastTimesMTB well, i went there this year, and i´m the kind of guy that prefer to walk the trail section by section, and give it a go, after walk it and check the features. I think in the end it make the trail more fun, even at the first time, and i was wondering if you ever tried to do the same. Makes a huge diference. Oh, and next time i´m doing that one. I did one, before that, can´t remember the name but i´ll find out. 😄
I see! That is definitely a good way to do it, probably more safe too. We typically ride section by section, and if there are any big features we see up ahead we get off the bikes to take a look and spot the line. Like you said, if you familiarize yourself with the trail you can ride it better afterwards.

Well done. Makes me want to get back to Seymour. It’s been awhile.

Hey i ride on seymour!!!! great mountain
Yeah it really is a great mountain! Lots of trails to choose from and it’s nice to have the ability to shuttle if you want to get a few laps in!
Is there a public shuttle or do you mean driving a car up
I just mean being able to drive your own car to the trail head as opposed to having climb only access like fromme.
it's my favorite trail - specially the lower section of Boogeyman which is not shown on your video - maybe you can add that next time.

I have never done boogeyman mainly because of the big skinny

Question…. It was your first time riding this trail?
Yep! This was our first time riding boogieman! Why do you ask?
