Expect the unexpected. Designs are now boring, battery is getting worse and we hardly use phones for productivity. The tech is high, apps now Snapchat and time wasting are on the rise to utilise the processing power we have in our hands.
I think this refreshes quite a few things. It looks very interesting IMO.

thickness is not the problem when u are getting freaking 2 days battery life . Super impressive
TechnoFreak yes I wish other phone manufacturers would worry less about making their phones paper thin and more about giving them better battery life.

That is because almost every major phone maker has gone thin crazy, large displays 5.5 to 5.7 on average (two years ago very few phones where 5.5 or up!) and glass backs (which look and feel great but is very easy to break)!!!

Finally, a Blackberry Keyone review that is more detailed. I respect and also love other reviews but they all mentioned the same thing . But this one, mentioned more on what I wanted to know more specially in the software side. What is only left which I wanted to know is if the font can be changed in this device without other 3rd party app to handle it? I've just subscribed and like the video DetroitBORG. Thank you for your review in this device.
Yes, it can be changed. All Android can. BTW, thats DetroitBORG for you, a step above the rest. He doesn't do the simple glancing over, rather a detailed, helpful review.
Robert Pascua do you know if a review that talks about the brightness. they all seem to skim over it. im worried the ceiling is super low for brightness

You're probably the only tech UA-camr that reviews tech so in-depth. That is superb and videos are easy to understand even when they are 30-40 minutes long)) peace!
This is the form factor Blackberry should have always have stuck with not the slider designs, especially when they went Android. One of the most customizable phones out, could never go back to a Blackberry physical keyboard as I'm way to use to onscreen but the one thing I have always loved and missed was having the ALT key always available that still one thing onscreen keyboards always take longer with. Some great design details they have here tho especially the fingerprint location. Love this built like a tank/tool looking design as well, I almost want to pick one up just to collect and play around with as I was a huge Blackberry fan wow basically a decade ago now
If you're buying a phone, this is the only channel to watch. Products get a very detailed run through! Great job as always!

people who say " that is a sh*t phone " need a brain so they can be smart enough to realise that smartphones nowadays are fragile as f*ck such as the Samsung Galaxy S6 - S8+ that are just some pieces of glass that can be broken within your hands without drop in it
Thanks for "Blackberry" to bring back the actual physical keyboard back to life on every new "Blackberry" smartphone ( i thought that i will never see a physical keyboard or a home button on the new smartphones ) .
Btw that smartphone on the video is a full solid piece that let you feel the full smartphone on your hands .

You can swipe down to get into symbols. Double tap activate cursor on website or text. Like it was on Passport or PRIV. ;)

I got this phone on the day of release in the UK (5th May) and I love it, it's absolutely perfect for me. It has so many good features, but will be overlooked because it doesn't look like a mini flatscreen tv.

I feel I would suffer a lot if i leave the iPhone that I've been using and loving for years now, but god these new blackberries have something that makes me wanna try them! I don't know about android (and I really liked the passport) but at least that gives us a decent App Store

Great phone. I moved back to blackberry from iPhone. I just received my key one and now going 3 days without having to charge. Even with the Android system this Blackberry still performs like a blackberry.
I appreciate Blackberry for continuously sticking to their roots. But eventually they're gonna have to give up the physical keyboard and surprise us with something else that other mainstream smartphones don't have.
*Edit:* Lol or maybe they should keep including the physical keyboard, just to be that guy. "We're still catering to people that check their emails a lot."

I'm actually a big fan of the design, minus the keyboard. It's very durable and not slippery, so you probably aren't ganna drop it but if you did happen to it would probably be fine.

Putting BlackBerry Security on Android and calling it secure is the joke of the century. Its ANDROID. ANYONE can get into it. Its open source as well. Garbage. BlackBerry, you made a HUGE mistake leaving BB OS. That was by far the most stable OS I've ever used. No "Unfortunately, this process has stopped working" why would a company release such useless crap of an OS with those constant errors?

Currently I am using blackberry passport silver edition. Apparently KEYone mostly refers to passport silver edition. This is a good idea, as passport SE is a unique, sturdy and reliable handheld with short "life period", as BB10 is no longer popular. By transferring the form factor to android OS, hopefully it will extend the "life period" of the model.
poor use of space. who needs a massive physical keyboard if a digital keyboard is faster. good luck swipe typing on that. what if someone uses something other than QWERTY? are DVORAK users left out? it's just too thick and archaic to succeed. it's not even water resistant. physical keys wear out want slow you down. we should move away from bezels, not create massive physical keys and bezels.

I think they nailed this form factor. If only they didn’t give up on BlackBerry OS. I refuse to use Android again. Absolutely refuse.
Looks pretty good phone overall (except the price :p)
But, the priv's looks and form factor are still far better than KEYone.

I Just Purchased this phone, I Love Love Love This Blackberry. Your Video is what made the choice for me. I use a iPhone and its very expensive but it has got very boring, no customization at all. I was a Samsung user always who I still Love but I gave iPhone a try and switched to the iPhone 8 plus. Android gives me the options that are endless and I can make it look exactly like any phone I want, after customizations. I missed BBM Messenger so much and I love the email client that Blackberry had in the past. security is another reason for my purchase. I will not spend a grand for the iPhone X I used that as well and it didn't amuse me at all. Thanks again for your video. #SUBSCRIBED

I feel the opposite about the brightness. It's too high for my liking. Specially in the dark. Perhaps your pre-production device is different.
Its unique,looks pretty good,good batter,nice ram,superb camera...wat more could i ask from a smart phone...superb
The DTEK50 and DTEK60 have USB-C, so this isn't the first BB with Type C, but it's the first one with a keyboard.
Really interesting phone. I used to love Blackberry back in the day and I kind of want one back in my life. Just bought an S8+ though so can't really justify it
