Even though most of the users are never going back to physical keyboards, I think the KEYone will find its place in the market. It will not sell well that's for sure but I don't think anyone else could make a better Android phone with a keyboard. It's nice to see you around, BlackBerry.
fyi....the spacebar is also used as a camera shutter button while using the camera!! that is fantastic! also the keyboard can be used the adjust the settings while in manual mode in the camera as well! (ok an update......micheal had this in his video a few minutes after i posted this i should have known better lol!) i"ll leave now! lol VIVA MR. MOBILE!

Great review. As a former Crackberry addict I live the phone. I used to be able to fly on that keyboard. Now on the iPhone 7, with SwiftKey. I can do about 100 words a minute. Typing on a physical keyboard is rigorous. That said, a beautiful design.

Just bought this phone on swappa, id say I got lucky for a unlocked model for $380! Switching from my rooted Mi Mix to this, I like a bit of everything honestly and I used the priv before and liked it alot. I am so damn excited for that monster of a battery though! the Mi mix last me a day, but I had a Z-Play before I gave that to my brother and that was a endurance beast. thanks for your review sir! it definitely help pushed me towards this phone! that and while I was at best-buy I got to play with it and fell in love immediately!!!!

Great review, thanks a lot! The main reason for using a physical keyboard is typing several languages. Predictive text is great for English, but is still poor for most other languages, especially for the ones I use. So for fast typing, there's still less mistakes typing on a phyisical keyboard, vs. the faulty prediction-correction of the software, correcting words to English, when it has to be something else. Of course, one can adjust by changing languages of the software prediction, but it takes just so much time, when I quickly want to respond to a text message, then respond to a facebook message on a nother one, and then write an e-mail on a third language.

It was supposed to start selling on May 4 here in Switzerland but the delivery date changed to "approximately 6-8 days" (with information subject to change). With this kind of lack of communication and clarifications, no wonder why a lot of people are already considering other alternatives. This is not the way you wanna make a proper comeback, by pissing people off. Also, great review, as usual, MrMobile.

Really great review of the blackberry keyone I completely enjoy detail reviews that do not take 30 min of my life. I saw the pictures in Facebook and it is a solid device and I have nostalgia with this phone but I got really good with software keyboards that I can't go back lol
Been using this phone for a few month now. Seriosly, best phone I've used since my old Nokia N95 8Gb (which I used for 8 years). The keyboard feeling is one of a kind. Just to be clear, I was never a fan of Blackberry (means I was never interested in their phones), I moved on to Android once my Nokia began to lack modern features and apps. But once I saw the phone on Android which has a physical keyboard - I instantly fell in love with it. I remember I even dreamed once "what if someone would make an android phone with button, now that would be awesome" and when I saw this guy I couldn't believe my eyes. As I said, been using it a few months now and I'm still amazed by it like in the day I bought it. I have to say that it's indeed overpriced, but it's worth it. I really hope it will last a few years for me.
Really looking forward to picking one of these up in the future. I have yet to find a mobile typing experience I like and clicky keys are always a favorite. I'd love to see Blackberry provide an option in settings to hide the navigation bar system-wide and have it function like many fullscreen applications, requiring a swipe to reveal it and a tap to use it and/or use a long press on the spacebar to go home.
As a fan of Blackberry [yes, even in 2017] this is quite a compelling review... I'm low-key holding out for the OnePlus 5 but this may not be a bad idea as a secondary device...especially for the productivity potential [THAT keyboard...aye]. Nicely done, Mr. Mobile.

As a fan of Blackberry [yes, even in 2017] this is quite a compelling review...
I'm low-key holding out for the OnePlus 5 but this may not be a bad idea as a secondary device...especially for the productivity potential [THAT keyboard...aye].
