This is such a helpful video! I'm relieved to hear that I'm already started out on the right track with a lot of this too. I have a pretty diverse assortment of skulls, and although I still need more snakes for live education (and maybe some arthropods or a tortoise but my main focus will be snakes), the snakes my wife and I have currently are worked with on a daily basis to be confident outside their enclosures and comfortable interacting with humans. The corn snake in my profile pic was literally trying to stick his head between my fingertips and the keys on my keyboard as I typed that last sentence because he's a very inquisitive boy who has almost no head-shyness after the work I've done with him. It'll still be a while before I'm ready but I think I can get there!

Do you own any large monitor lizards?

Unfortunately no! The majority aren’t legal to own in NY state!
