AWESOME setup on a old school 12th Gen F150... Loved it !!! Please do more videos like this with the older models as well as, of course the newer ones too. Great way to advertise and promote yourself ... Keep up the good work. Have a blessed day !!!
What is considered a "leveling kit"? Does this include hardware for the front struts only? Or does the leveling kit included upgraded rear shocks? Thank you
“Leveling kits” are exclusive to the front end only. 1.5” to 3” lift pucks sit atop the factory struts or coil springs. More expensive kits do offer “upgraded” shocks for the rear. No lift achieved of course, just new shocks. Hope that helps 👍🏻
I got a F150 2012 and actually my wheels are 33x12.5 R20.. but what kind of leveling kit you suggest to install? Because I’m experiencing issues to turn
Damn with 20×12 and a -51 offset I would have thought they would have stuck out much farther than that. I had 20×10 -22 offset on the same body style and they stuck out past the fender well at least 2 inches and normally the wider you go with the rim the less negative offset you need for your tires to stick out past the fender well.
so i am currently looking at 20x12 -44 33x12.5 & 2” leveling kit. but i am worried about cutting a whole lot of metal. i don’t want to rub at all. especially full turn. and in this set up. can i still haul travel trailer or atv(s) trailer(s) ? please reach out as soon as possible.
I have the 2.5 inch level on my 2018 f150 with the same wheel setup. I cut the front crash bars out and had to do some trimming on the fender liners i still rub a little

It would work but you gotta trim plastic to get them to lock out and not rub
Did you have to do any cutting in wheel well to prevent rubbing
Did u guys have to do any trimming on the inner wheel well due to rubbing?
Do u recommend Zone or RC 3.5 lift on GMC? Using company shocks. I'm looking for a cadillac smooth street feel.
Truck looks sick! Looks almost like mine. Good video.👍
did you cut the bumper?. and the leveling kit what is it
Do you get any shake at 70+ mph?
I want this on my truck same model but on American forces
Yep ur one of them squat folks I bet🤮
I’m doing the same wheel with 3 inch level how much reining was done and what was trimmed
I have the 2.5 inch level on my 2018 f150 with the same wheel setup. I cut the front crash bars out and had to do some trimming on the fender liners i still rub a little
Will that kind of setup need a lot of trimming because rubbing?
jonn bonilla yes lots!
@@RealDealNeal is this just plastic trimming and removing the crash bars? Or do you have to trim metal as well?
Yes lots of trimming.
@@RealDealNeal are those in the satin black, or the gloss?
Can you put 33s 22x12 on stock f-150
Yes, 8.5 inch wide rims are the minimum recommend for 12.5’s
Not without rubbing like crazy. Even with a leveling kit you may have to do some minor plastic trimming.
Does -44 looks like the -51 or nah does it makes a huge difference or !
The 51 will stick out more from fender but I would do -44 tbh
@@socalvibes7146 ok thanks I just order a 20x12 544MB TIS rims on -44
@@Elchriss7. nice ima wait like one more month and I’m going to order mines as well! 20x12.5 vision rockers
@@socalvibes7146 a 20x12 still fits a 33x12.50 r20 right 12.5 is same as 12.50?or
@@Elchriss7. yes I believe so! And I’m going 35” tires too
Exactly what size level when you say leveling kit?
2-3” somewhere in there, most guys go 2.5”. I run a 2” on my 15 with 33 12.50s
@@kadenkast392 but 2 is almost same as 2.5 right ?
@@kadenkast392 I have a 2015 as well, what is your set up? And how much trimming?
Is that a 3 inch leveling kit?
2”
