@@thecarjunkie3609 Really though, it's awesome! You need to do a video where you just go around town measuring random things and getting excited about it. You have a good personality for this sort of thing. Also, that Jeep in the background is sick!
I got Bilstien 5100's and I only went higher 1 notch from the stock setting. I'm on 33s (after about 4000 miles), in the front its 8-1/2" clearance to the fender and I get about 7-1/2" on the rear. The front / back spacing match the video (3-1/2 on the front side and about 3" on the rear side front and rear). A little more pricey than a spacer but the ride quality is quite a bit better. Gets rid of the second and third bounces on big bumps. Handles better too.
I'd hate for him to remove the running boards thinking he has ground clearance up to the body of the truck as if the frame doesn't sit lower than the body lol
Just bought a 2018 Lariat today and was wondering about this sort of information. Certain it has a levelling kit on it as previous owner had “oversized” tires on it prior.
That's what I want to know. Is it useful for wheeling. I just bought a '15 F150 and I want to do some wheeling, I'm having a really hard time finding information on how to start with basic upgrades to get into offroading. F150s are super common, I'm really surprised I'm having trouble finding information.
Great video, lots of different and relevant measurements. However, you fuel efficiency calculation was a little off. 13.6 km’s for 100 litres of fuel is what an cruise ship would burn. How about 13.6 litres per 100km’s driven as an average?
Did you have to put an adapter to fit those wheels? The bolt pattern for the 17inch version of those is 6x139.7 , the f-150 2018 to 2020 has a bolt pattern of 6x135. So it wouldn’t fit . That company makes that wheel for that bolt bolt pattern only in 18 inches. Just curious to know if you used an adapter for the fit, looks amazing
So all terrain tires would be quieter in generally than these mud terrains. All terrains are not as rugged. BF Goodrich are excellent but cost a bit more.
Sounds like a worn out wheel bearing 😂 but the look is amazing! I wanna get this for my tundra but I drive mostly in the city. my daughter and my wife probably bitch at me 😂
Hey, I actually didn’t have to. I double check my digital speedometer with waze and other map apps to see what those were telling me my speeds were and it was bag on. The stock tires and 33s are only a few inches in difference but the main thing is that they are wider and more aggressive looking depending on the type of tire you go with.
It’s good. There is enough clearance. I do slowdown though over speed bumps and train tracks but haven’t hit any part of the inner wheel well or frame.
I just ordered 33x12.5 nitto's with +19 offset fuel wheels, for my 2017 and can't decide how much I will need to lift. Is it even possible that they will fit with no level, or lift?
Hey so because I have 17s with 33, 12.5 inch wide it absolutely had no rub without a lift but with 19s it may. I just did a 2.5 inch level kit for just the looks and now it looks like there is ample room. You might be okay with that but also look around :)
@@thecarjunkie3609 Thanks Man. Lots of choices. I worry about the angles with a level but the cost is amazing compared to everything else. Figure they won't fit without something, so I guess I will wait until they arrive and see what I am up against. Keep trucking my friend.
Says the guy who says I am lying, instead of looking at Fords website first. The factory tire size is LT275/60R20. If you do some simple math or look on a tire website, you will see the rolling diameter is 33". You are spreading misinformation.
Ehhh. If you aren’t taking it off road, there’s no need. Less fuel mileage and that stupid noise. What’s the point, to pick up girls? With the car seats in the back?
Nice setup bro!!! Looks good! Thats the benefit of smaller rims, you can run bigger tires without a lift or level!
Thank you and that’s true!
?????, no wheel diameter has no effect on overall diameter. You can do 33" tire on 20" wheels or 18"
@@henrymulvenna1748yeah he’s confusing the sidewall height with actual size of tire

Truck doesn't dip in the front because of weight. A truck is for putting weight in and needs more clearance.
You should have turned your tires and done a measurement that way also, just for viewers to see. That is where you will get any rubbing if you do:)

Hey buddy I was just saying it gives a visual that it looks higher without them but don’t worry, I’m keeping them. Kids and wife will need it.
I was wondering if anyone was going to mention that. Doubt he does any off road driving
I wonder how different the stock suspension is from an XLT
Thanks for the info! About to do this to my truck
Sweet. Good luck!

What kind of off-road terrain did you test the truck on to make sure there's no rubbing?

Do you have a link to get the rims? I would rather buy through your link to support your channel.
Unfortunately I don’t have a link for them. But thank you. I got them from wheels for less in toronto

13.5 km per 100L. That would be crazy haha
13.5 litres for each 100 Km
Would you recommend a quieter brand of tire? I feel like that might be a bit too loud for me. I love the look, just looking for a quieter set.
WhAt do you mean when you say the 33s are actually 32s

The size on the tires are never 100%. It’s always about an inch smaller than what they read with an exception of a few brands
My 33×12.5 on 18s are 33×12.5,I Haven't Heard That Before, Thanks For The Information, Keep Truckin.

33x12.5x17 tires and 17 inch rims

Hi I was wondering if anyone has ever put 275 70 18s on a 2012 Ford F150 2 Wheel Drive
What was the measurement with the stocks
I wish I measured it all before. Only thing is it was sitting at 6ft 5 inches total height before and now it’s at 6ft 6inches tall.
link for tires and rims plz!
Got them from wheelsforless.ca/
Did u have to recalibrate the speedometer?

So u running 33” tires and got no level or lift on ur truck ?
Yup, no rubbing, no issues whatsoever.
How it is when u hit bumps tho ?
It’s good. There is enough clearance. I do slowdown though over speed bumps and train tracks but haven’t hit any part of the inner wheel well or frame.
LMAO The front dips more because it was designed to have a load in the back not because the engine is heavy LMAO
Will 22x12 on 33s fit my 06 Ford f150 ??? No lift
Gaaayyyy
What size tires?
33 inches by 12.5 inches wide
6 inch lift and 37’s would be perfect
Has that truck ever touched dirt? Very nice, but dirt 🙂
If this truck is a 4x4 it DOES have a lift compared to a 2 wheel drive.
