Galette is a traditional puff pastry and filled with almond cream. Traditionally, it's bigger and only eaten during post-Christmas and new year season. The French would put a small figurine or trinket in it. The person who gets the figurine in his slice is the king! haha...thus the name Galette des Rois

Alison你想吃砂锅饭，我知道在alexandra market 有好吃。砂锅饭是要有咸鱼砂锅饭本来就是白饭去煮是不会有什么味道，它是靠那些材料还有倒入油和黑酱油才是好吃。可是吃砂锅饭比较热要配上他们煮的汤才更好。

Thanks again for both of your great effort... Seldom went to west SG. After watching your video, for me the bread shop and the Penang restaurant is a must go . I will plan to go after CNY... Because now under keto diet... 🤣🤣🤣If you want to eat good cendol, you can try the stall at old airport road Hawker Center the stall opposite 老夫子CKT. They only sell cendol and 清湯。
Yes! that cendol is good! They are really lying so low under the radar!

Personally I don’t like lady iron chef but DanielFoodDiary, MissTamChiak, SethLui are all useless to u? So you think you are so good that you can be one that can exceed them?
@@Heyfen306 I never say they are useless, just mentioned that there are no really good food blogger. They might recommend good food but they presentation is really meh and not that engaging.
Food King might be sponsored (they declared that they didn't) but at least they are entertaining.
EatBook not too bad, still ok.
DanielFoodDiary doesn't even talk. MissTamChiak and SethLui are just meh.
Alison did a pretty good job on both. TBH Taiwanese are good at food shows.
Anyway, just chill. not trying to pick a fight.
@@prvuse8281 U are really being too kind. In my POV, those named all chui but food king still entertaining like u said & with Alison done a pretty good job. So far only Gregory Leow has convinced me that he knows some stuff and 90% of his videos are spot on.
对我来讲好吃面包应该那种复古风味的面包才好吃，还有面煎饼还有鸡饭在yuhua food market at jurong east street 24 也是not bad can try. To me I like it.
檳城的炒粿條部分也都有加臘腸喔，這是檳城的特色☺️在檳城唸書到現在好久沒吃檳城的食物了，Island Penang Kitchen在saved list裡面好久了，看了影片是時候去一去了🤣
West sider表示，竟然都沒吃過😪

Chendol这道甜品里头那绿色的东西就是chendol本人；是用香兰叶加面粉调合后，以滴漏的方式，滴入水里凝结而成。

槟城虾面是虾油加辣酱汤底。最明显是都有翁菜（空心）和小虾仁，有些还可以加粉肠，卤蛋卤肉。那间西点烘焙店看来很会做各种酥皮派。Siam--暹罗的意思，即泰国。所以Mee Siam酸酸甜甜。
這位大哥很厲害，我發現你都有認真的點評每一間哈哈哈哈，還有補充專業知識👍🏻 感謝～～～
有机会可以去Ang Mo Kia 试试那边的 magic kitchen, 你应该会蛮喜欢的。

Popiah (字打错了）艾莉真是太善良了。。。建议带上矿泉水。 ：）猜猜
感觉这个部落客介绍的真是还好。CP 低了点。 西餐可以介绍你The Carving Board （jurong East) 的猪肉($20 记得好像是$20）, 其它千万不要吃。
第三家的槟城美食还可以罢了。。。炒果条真的是还好。。。完全没有好吃，虾面还不错。 建议你可以去Jurng point Malaysia Boleh 的 炒果条 （$5)（虽然品质掉了点）。。。还是完胜这家。
最后一点可能食物在比较低温的时候才进食才是真正考验食物好不好吃的标准。
bonus 介绍你一家CP超高的新进美食 （Fusion) Bok kitchen (地址： 16 Boon Lay Avenue, #01-01, 640216） 可以试一下他们家的的Char Siew rice bowl .... $12 吧。
下次还是不要请这些所谓的部落客。。。真是让人失望。

顺便提一下 Taman jurong 没有什么好吃的哈哈哈。 都一般般（12）， （6），（11）， （5)不需要试了。。。
Fengzhen Lor Mee Yew Tee 应该是正宗的。
建议做一集咖喱鱼头。 Yew Tee 也有一家值得推。
播主，前面两家，MyCosyCorner 和 BakeryBrera&FineFoods 都在我母校附近。但那边算新加坡的中部地区啊，怎么会说是西部呢？

槟城好吃的炒粿条是用火碳炒的，除此之外要炒最少30年经验师傅。对我来说，好吃的炒粿条是虾和ham的口感来评分的。每一个槟城人都有自己的名单，和他们做朋友，他们就会热情的分享很棒的师傅给你。

@@ffgarou Small or not location and direction still matter. Geography still exist in SG. Can i say your eyes are on your feet since human bodies are small? Or if a foreigner at Jurong Point ask you where is Changi.. Can you point there and say "there only.. SG so small..". Learn more about food and pls lah learn even more on Geography too. Lol
And to correct you.. The 5 regions of Singapore North, West, East, Northwest, and Central is not just meant for election. They are there to strategize services in Singapore. For example: Meteorological Office need the region to tell People which part of Singapore will rain, shower thunderstorm, lightning cat.. It will be stupid to say it will rain in Singapore because it is so small. 🤥

Really? When I was Hwa Chong student studying nearby, I often ate at My Cosy Corner but thought it was average (slim pickings at Bukit Timah).
Now Meat n Chill opened nearby is much better, serving western bbq grilled meat
But I decided to place almost $50 of orders from bakery brera bc of this video now
