What I dislike about such entertainment programs is the denigration of other cultures and habits which they don’t understand. Uniformity breeds mediocrity. Each country has its own unique idiosyncrasies and mocking at another just comes across as childish. I love Taiwan but will avoid such talkshows. Singapore is a multi-racial society with words adopted from various cultures. A homogeneous society should learn to accept differences and stop being myopic.

However, there is no law to stop you from consuming them, I still chew them on a regular basis and dispose them correctly. Please don’t let this video of some so call Singaporean misled the rest. For sure, if this is illegal, I would know too since I studied law as well.
