You would think that the AFM would be a lot more reliable by now considering how long it's been available.
AFM IS NO LONGER AN ISSUE!! Its on the CT5-V Blacwking and exactly ZERO reviewers even commented on it because it's that seemless. Simply, nothing to worry about anymore.
One way to boost Z06 sales is to put AFM on the ZR1.
Lol.. yeah 😅
GM Hennessy performance and a handful of tuners have embraced afm and its benefit despite its reliability woes. Variable valve timing, direct injection and turbo application are all for efficiency and performance at the price of reliability. No different than carburetor vs fuel injection.
Twin Turbos CANNOT WORK ON HIGH COMBUSTION ENGINES FLAT PLANE CRANK !!! Like 5.5 L , it will fuck the engine at its stock form ! , ZR1 has TT so it must be a Crossplane one
Afm is only on pushrod motors
This was the biggest waste of 6 minutes ever, AFM, who cares
Where is the news !
1:12 so wrong ! C8 ZR1 won’t have that stupid reverse engineered Ferrari 458 engine , that’s A ZR1 !! , it always have the most unique engine of ALL CORVETTES !!
I’m curious how much it’ll cost…
My guess after options and markups around 250k
@@KingZarkon yeah, sounds about right
@@KingZarkonYeah, I bet more then $250k
45k between base and z06. So I'm guessing 160k starting before add-ons and markups
If you have to ask you probably can’t afford it lol
AFM = SUX
When you buy a car like a ZR1 you don't give a crap about gas milage! It's part of the statement you are making. It's known as conspicuous consumption.
Yeah my point exactly 🔥
250 starting 9ut
*promo sm* ☝️
This won't be better than the C7 ZR-1!
It has the potential, but Chevy needs to make some good choices to make it a reality
@@TheAutoBelt I guess I can agree with that. I'll remain pessimistically "optimistic" just the same though.
@@niradnagrom2356 it better have a higher top speed than the C7 ZR1. The C8 Z06 has already been a massive disappointment and that aspect.
Track times Trump. The c8 will be the quickest vette yet
@@bcdieselsofficial lol dude you can’t compare the zr1 c7 vs z06 c8 in top speed lol no z06 has been faster or has had a higher top speed the the zr1 that’s they top grade an remind you the zr1 is extremely slow it’s been dusted in quarter miles an half vs Ferraris an Lambos that’s was slower in speed because they was much quicker Chevy is aiming for quickness not overall top speed because who really hits they top speed in there vehicle daily that’s slim to none you would need a clean mile or more an alot of people just not doing that in cars that pushes 200+ that much
Same ugly wall of buttons
AFM = SUX
Not hard to second that
@TheAutoBelt I mean CT5-V Blackwing has AFM too, nobody mentions about it failing...
