What ever happened to this car. Last I heard they were not happy with the body work and then it seems to have disappeared. Same comment as the rest. No similarity to other rear mid engine cars.

This video is so far off the mark its bullshit there is no way the zr1 is 200 000 it will be way more, especially with dealership markups and the suspension and drive train that you failed to mention 50-50 weight distribution on the gtd better aero the zr1 won't touch the gdt on the ring and to say the zr1 haz better handling what a moron if hp was every thing then why are porches so fast because of the handling you should do more homework before you release a video.

ZR1 is faster and more readily available (available at all that is) but it's a factory mass-produced car still. Probably a better pseudo daily for sure. And cheaper, although obvs not cheap. GTD is a little slower acceleration-wise, but on a track it has like double the downforce of the Vette with aero package and actual race suspension, so if there are enough corners, it'll win everytime. Also has more tire and likely better braking as stated. GTD subjectively sounds better and if you are able to get one it's also much more like a custom car, unseen in a car like this since the car it closely resembles performance wise, the 14-17 Viper. Interior is also better here (once again subjectively). As an investment, GTDs will only go up in price and ZR1s might go up a little like previous ones have, but won't likely be netting double and triple what they cost in the near future like the limited run Mustang likely will (similar to its two 05-06 GT and 17-22 GT brothers).

It's winter so the ZR1's laptime will be revealed at April in spring season.We already know the pro driver it's the famous hall of famer Nascar driver Jeff Gordon an exceptional pro driver who has mastered the Nuburgring perfectly, because on this very technical track like the Nurburgring the driver makes the big difference before the car.

With the GTD, Ford moved the transmission to the back of the chassis giving it a near 50/50 weight distribution. ZR1 is more like 40/60. As far as weight, the GTD might be 500 lbs lighter. GTD also has active aero. Overall handling, in and out of a corner speed is most likely going to be better with the GTD. I would still take the ZR1 because of the price difference.
