Fantastic! Actually, I am late to your party 😎 Congrats and super excited for you. I will be catching up on your Cybertruck videos ... they all appear awesome and full of useful information. Thanks (in advance) for your Cybertruck videos. Cute puppy too! 🐶
I was surprised how efficient when pushed hard. As @missingpiece2071 said it would be really interesting to see the efficiency on other tires. I wonder how much or if it would drop Wh/miles. Thank You for watching👍
That would be a good option. I don't mind it on the screen, but don't like that the rear view gets replaced with the side camera screen when setting the turn signal.
Nice update! Glad it's working out for you! Got my invite, but enjoying our Lightning Pro and there is no compelling reason to switch. That reservation is roughly 350K, iirc, so they are moving right through the backlog.
Thank You. The Lightning is a good truck and offers some features not found in the CT. And since you already have it, I understand that you don't switch. It's amazing how fast they already go. Mine is Serial 36XX and I already heard of VIN 7k+. Thank You for watching👍
I'm glad you're enjoying it. I have the R1S and a Bolt EUV. I can't imagine driving something that big but was impressed that the energy consumption was on par with the R1S. What does it weigh?
you should do a video on Wh / mile with efficient tires, if you could get it to high 300's Wh / mile that would be on par with the Y MICHELIN DEFENDER LTX M/S has a 285 65R 20 tire that is suppose to be eco friendly to me the single biggest dissapointment in the CT after the price is range, can't do much about the price but maybe the range
I love the Michelin Defender, have it on our Dodge truck. This is one of the tires I was thinking about switching to in the future. For now I will have to put some more miles on all terrains.
What's noticeable to me is less turning on the wheel at very slow speeds to park or maneuver compare to other vehicles. That is part steer by wire as well as four wheel steering. Since I understand the technical aspect behind it all and know what's going on this is exciting to me. Now when my 16 year old daughter drives, she knows about all this but does not really understand what it all means, to her it's just regular steering and she doesn't know any different other than you turn the wheel as far as you need to get into the parking spot or change lanes on the freeway. She says it is easy drive in regards to the steering, easier than the Rivian and definitely easier than our old Dodge truck. My wife just drives it and has not mentioned anything about it. If one doesn't know about it, it would just be another truck that they get used to. It feels natural and easy with a little less feedback from the road, but I don't need that feedback really to drive the truck under normal circumstances.
Mike - you need to subject your daughter to a comparison between CT and s small car in a parking lot - despite the CT being much bigger, they’re perhaps equally maneuverable?
@@RMTFamily I have actually. Are you complimenting the tires they chose or the alignment? Sorry but a hundred thousand dollar truck should go straight.
The price has really nothing to do with it. Driven many vehicles that were cheaper and did better than many at $100k +. You may have to drive one to see what I'm talking about. It has not been drifting like most vehicles do on crowned roads. Bumps, dips and ruts from 18 wheelers do not affect it. Even on the over one mile that I have to drive on a dirt road that is heavily crowned, is washboard and potholes, I just point the truck and it keeps going straight over all this at 35mph. If there wouldn't be any turns one would really not have to touch the steering wheel.
Good question. Would have to try that. Not sure if there is a good spot to block it up, especially since the truck will push sideways as the suspension lowers.🤔
very informative!!

Hi Duane, would you please contact me on FB, X or Instagram, the links are in the video description.
Glad the cybertruck is working well for you. I enjoyed your video. Keep it up.
Thank You.
Great trip ! And yes, the CT is pretty efficient for the size.

Felonious Gru!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The rear view mirror should be a display for a camera, the way Gm, Nissan and others do it.
That would be a good option.

@@RMTFamily it'll be wild when they are commonplace!

Thank you. The Cybertruck weighs about 200lbs less than the R1S.

Great to hear that your excitement with your CT continues. Steer by wire - noticeable to you?

@@dennislyon5412 Good Idea. Wonder if I can convince her to be on camera🤔😂We'll do something. I like your idea.
@@RMTFamily I hope you’re able to set it up - an interesting test for you - and experience for her.
Is amazing that it goes straight? What a low bar.
Obviously you haven't driven many trucks with all terrain tires. Most trucks bounce all over the road.

Can you lift one corner for a tire change if you block it up with the air suspension all up and then lowering the suspension?
Good question. Would have to try that. Not sure if there is a good spot to block it up, especially since the truck will push sideways as the suspension lowers.🤔
The jack pad with wood block pyramid?
3d printed blocks could be a light weight "jack kit" that would fit under the front seats.
Will have to take a closer look sometime next week. To busy this week.
