The rear tweeter grills r completely empty it’s for some decoration tho only in China they’re real with the Bose premium audio fitted my 2008 Honda jazz 4 door system sounds miles better
Great review - I agree not the best but far from the worst car audio system. I've had the HS PHEV for just over a week and it took a while to set the EQ in the way I like them - I listen to quite a range of music - I found for most music the speakers are great (as the driver) but the more rock, heavy rock or full Russian Deathcore lacked a bit of energy/power. Pop, 80's, dance, etc. are all good. So basically the family are happy and I live with the downsides :)
I find the sound lacks lower bass, and playing mp3 over USB also reduces mid-bass. I'm looking to add a (sub)woofer. I have the non-hybrid so lots of room under the boot floor behind the back seats. Something like a bazooka should fit nicely. For my country at least the petrol gets 6 speaker system if you spec the automatic transmission, btw.
I just purchase a HS trophy and it wasn't as impressive in sound at all - I'd have to add additional speakers because its a lovely car but compromised sound isn't great - it gave me anxiety really 😬
