I love how confusing this game is and yet the only thing you tripped up on was how to tell if a buildings construction was paused. Hahaha fantastic video, will definitley be keeping track of this series to see where it goes!
Could not agree more! Going to try hard to succeed, thinking of going the very safe route of clothing first... However I am going to try and grow the crops for it. Thanks for the support!
Love the videos! Thanks to you I actually bought the game + the Biomes DLC and tis been so much fun to play along! Thankyou! 1 thing i noticed - your dirt roads are dark brown - how did you do that? Mine are like a desert colour
Thank you so much - high compliments indeed! Roads - I am using a texture pack mod to alter the look of certain thing (like the roads) This is the pack I am using: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2267431874 and if you would like a full collection of all mods I am using on this playthrough here: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3299060798
It'd be a funny Easter Egg if when you reach 1974 on an Asian map a Volvo sedan becomes available for purchase, then immediately becomes unavailable the following year.
I would definitely say this game comparing to Tropico when it comes to interacting with other countries is not true at all. The most you can interact with foreign nations in W&R is buying, selling, and immigration. No relationships, no filling orders for a particular nation.
My thinking was that the construction office trucks have a shorter distance to travel if they don't have to go make the trip back and fourth between the customers office and construction site - might be wrong that this is an efficiency saving move though.
@@The_Beard anyway, you need 2-3 dump trucks that bring gravel to the warehouse... you can use the same 2.3 dump trucks for construction - skip free warehouse . the trucks that load gravel in the warehouse load very slowly...as if they were doing it with shovels. Basically, it's not worth it.. they deliver gravel faster from the border than from the warehouse.. at least this free one. when you introduce electricity, build a normal warehouse and a truck loading station... and then it's another story
@@The_Beardfirst thing after I get initial construction area set up is a aggregate storage with a truck loading station. It doesn't require any workers. does require electricity but you can pull medium voltage off of the border power connection so that's easy enough.
@baxswisher7661 Ohhh good tip, didn't think about it this way. Might be a bit too ahead with this city now but going to remember that for one of the satellite cities I am planning. Thank you!

Properly confused me there for a second! Glad you enjoyed it and stoked you are on-board for the ride.
love this game. It actually feels rewarding when you profit from exports i.e. not always easy

🤣 my grandfather used to own a Volvo 164 too! Actually cant wait to get into vehicle production....
Game setup summary: We can have this setting on/off but we will enable it because it's interesting 😀😀😀 love it
🤣 interesting = making our lives complicated. Something oddly ironic there.
Can you reduce the music volume pls
Absolutely can do - thanks for the feedback
given the setting, the Red border is more likely China and/or Vietnam than Soviet.
Very true!
Hi,nice play through 👍. Are you using some kind of skin i this game.? Cause your roads and stuff has a much nicer look than the ingame does.
Thanks so much! I am indeed, using this texture pack if you would like to check it out: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2267431874
can i simulate thailand economy style in this dlc ?

The only system that's annoying atm is rail construction offices
Yea - I'm really looking forward to trains but at the same time really worried about how tedious and micro managery it's going to be!
whyusing free agregate storage?? waste of time on trucks loading.
