For your 5x stat to be true, all 24 officer death would have to be at the hand of black males, which would mean 5 (1/5 of 24) of 463 civilian deaths were black males.

Definitely the police in this country need overhauling and a federal agency to monitor and regulate police conduct. No question. But there is no systemic oppression in society today of Black Americans. The facts don't support that at all. In fact America has bent over backwards in ending racism in our in industries and in government [except for the police]. Remember Russell Wilson was married to a white woman but now he has Ciara. Odell Beckham jr current girlfriend is a sister. 3 out of 8 are with white women and in addition as a black woman my main concern is that they speak up. For your 5x stat to be true, all 24 officer death would have to be at the hand of black males, which would mean 5 (1/5 of 24) of 463 civilian deaths were black males.

Definitely the police in this country need overhauling and a federal agency to monitor and regulate police conduct. No question. But there is no systemic oppression in society today of Black Americans. The facts don't support that at all. In fact America has bent over backwards in ending racism in our in industries and in government [except for the police]. We have had Affirmative Action for years, minority contractor set asides for years, preferences for minorities for entrance into colleges for years, a Black President for years, the civil rights legislation of the 60s, total support for BLM in all our new major news media, job fairs for minorities. We have a police problem that will be corrected. The police probably are the last bastion of institutional racism in the USA. All peoples lives matter in America, all. That is what America is all about. That is the meaning of sacrifice of the 1.6 million soldiers who died for this country.
On July 18, 1863, a union regiment led the charge on Fort Wagner. During the battle, the unit's color guard was shot. A soldier, who was just a few feet away, saw the dying man
stumble, and he scrambled to catch the falling flag.
Despite suffering several serious gunshot wounds himself, this soldier kept the symbol of the Union held high as he crawled up the hill to the walls of Fort Wagner, urging his fellow troops to follow him.
He planted the flag in the sand at the base of the fort and held it upright until his near-lifeless body was rescued.
Even then, though, he did not give it up. Many witnesses said this soldier refused to give the flag to his rescuers, holding onto it tighter until, with assistance, he made it to the Union's temporary
barracks.
That soldier lost a lot of blood and nearly lost his life, but not once did he allow the flag to touch the ground. He was promoted to the rank of sergeant for his actions.
For his bravery, he was awarded the Medal of Honor on May 23, 1900. The Soldier? William H. Carney of the Company C, 54th Massachusetts Colored Infantry Regiment, the first official black unit
recruited for the Union in the north. Forty other black men served with him, including two of famed abolitionist Frederick Douglass' sons.
William H. Carney was the first African American soldier to receive the Medal of honor. He was born into slavery yet refused to let the flag touch the ground despite being shot several times and almost dying
himself. Today African American step on that same flag and refuse to stand for it. They do not know the pains Mr. Carney faced, yet he had more pride and dignity then most any man (of any color) does today
