Huge fan of this podcast Lecrae 🎉🎉🎉 Your approach has been awesome and has honored the Lord. Lots of powerful testimonies and important subjects discussed. I’m ready for election season to be over lol. I just want to move on for the primary candidates on both sides honestly 🤷♂️ although, I do like Vance. He seems like the most normal and yet articulate among the group of 4.
Hey Lecrae I'm disgusted by the Christians idolizing Trump. It's so disheartening when you realize that there are so many "Christians" that are really just conservative, not Jesus followers.
Can you find one nation in the world that is a repentant Godly nation? Your post indicts the world and the church? Let's loook at this election. The guy alot of Christians are voting is an unrepentant, convicted felon. Is that the kind of leadership? God wants me to vote for? Absolutely not.... The American president is placed in office to serve the needs of the people.
This episode was/is incredible. I'm a 60 yr old Caucasian male. I watched the episode twice to fully take in what the guests and host are sharing. I've never seen a better presentation of what political parties are about and what their role should be. I also fully agree with the presentation of the primary role of the Christian and stewardship in our society. This episode should be made as mandatory viewing in every High School civics classroom. It probably would never be allowed on a cable news network due to the plain speak it affords on the political machine. Thank you for the presentation!
Yes!!! I fully agree!! I am sharing this episode with as many people as I can to help them hear two people have a productive, effective conversation and get a better understanding of why we all have the interest we have.
@@aspreedacore not exactly, there was originally no parties before the formation of the Democratic-Republicans and the federalists, the original two party system. The Federalists collapsed however and for a time there was only the Democratic Republicans until they split too and we ended up with the Democrats and then the Whigs
that is what we do in the UK! You vote for your member of parliament to represent you in parliament. You vote for the candidate and their policies. You do not have to stick to the party you normally back.
I wasn't actually planning on watchin all of this, but the conversation was so engaging I couldn't turn it off. Definitely the best content I've seen on politics from a Christian content creator this election cycle by far. No guilt tripping me into voting a certain way, just an honest, open, and civil discussion of the issues. I also appreciate that both of these men of God have enough integrity to acknowledge the shortcomings of both sides. Wish there was more content like this. Great job Lecrae.
Thank you, Justin, for mentioning that you should not just vote for your personal interests. We are to love our neighbors as ourselves not love ourselves.
My Love ❤️ you are partially correct yes love your neighbor as your yourself but first and foremost you need to Love yourself flaws and all for if I don't like this (? ) about me how can I Love that quality in you. When I Love all of me. I can Love all of you. ❤ is 🔑
Loving your neighbor as yourself has nothing to do with what you said and why wouldn't a person vote what is better for them personally as well as what is good for the country?
I can’t help feed my neighbor, if I first don’t manage to obtain food for myself and my household. Is it Christianly to starve my children, in order to feed a stranger?
This is the best conversation between a Black Republican and a Black Democrat that I've ever heard. Especially in this day and age where political conversations can be so divisive and compative.
@ryy-uuuu It matters to me because it does. If it doesn't matter to you that is quite alright for you. 🤷🏽♀️ Not sure why it matters to you why it matters to me. 🤔
@@MissTay4 respectfully that’s not a reason… it matters to me because you’re bringing race into it. It’s a republican and democratic, it’s a human talking with a human. There’s no need to bring skin color into it at all.
@ryy-uuuu Respectfully, you don't know me, so my reasons for what I say should mean nothing to you. So I stand on what I said. And my reasons for everything I say is that it's what I wanted to say. Sorry that's not good enough for you but it doesn't matter to me what's good for you because I don't know you. Just like my opinions and reasons shouldn't matter to you because you don't know me.
@@MissTay4I don't know u n I don't think u said something to disrespect anyone. Although pointing out the color of people is funny. Americans are all colors. Skin color shouldn't be relevant. If you white u probably won't get it. I promise you if you was in a room full of black and Hispanic uwould be the one that is the cracker the honky .
This is the most insightful and respectful discourse I’ve seen in the longest time. Thank you for this! And thank you for choosing two extremely capable, intelligent and articulate black men from both sides to lead this conversation 💪🏽
The respect and love we see between these two brothers is the biggest win in my eyes. I appreciated the humility and desire to stay in brotherly unity even while discussion issues you disagree on. Beautiful example for us all. Thank you for this conversation.
Such a great discussion! I have been that Black Democrat and Black Republican. My attempt is always to see myself as a woman of God first who votes for the politician who comes closes to representing the direction I believe the country should move on a civil level
I was with you up until you said ‘I believe the country should go on a civil level’, it should never be about what we believe but about the standard that God calls us to live by. We should vote the Bible and not on what we believe is best. I have an issue with how lax the democratic party is with abortion. The Bible is clear we should not murder , yet that’s what they are advocating for and it’s amazing how many Christians are voting for this party and ignoring the elephant in the room. I’m not saying you’re voting republican or democrat, but my point is, it shouldn’t be about the direction WE think the country should go in, but about the standard that God calls us to live by.
@@Flower5181 no party is going going the right direction. Abortion is not the only wrong. There are 10 commandments. Christians were not supposed to be picking a human leader to rule. That is what caused us to be distanced from God. We were not supposed to have kings and queens remember. Christians are only supposed to be following the Lord God Almighty and reading His Word. Jesus came here to teach us how to spread God love and Word to people around the world. Jesus came here to teach us how to behave even when we are around people who disagree. Jesus was showing us how to approach people, talk to people, and how to not be hateful, judgemental, and gossipy. We are just to respect the leaders. The many sins we ignore are what lead to issues like abortion.
Why do you think everything is based on religion in a free country? Why hold others to a standard you’re not willing to accept being put upon you ? Medical care is essential. Just because you don’t agree you shouldn’t take away someone’s rights. Every white man has done that to us through history. Free is free.
“You will cut off relationships over the party but you won’t cut off the relationship over religion. You are more tolerant religiously than politically.” That’s deeeeep.
They did a great job presenting issues, hear say how follows of Jesus should look at elections and parties. They did a great job. So diplomatic and wise
@@saulperalta780for me it was that the bible talks about how we as Christians have a duty to lead our homes/communities in the ways of the lord rather than leave it to the enemy to manipulate. While i dont have much say- i can absolutely vote for people who would have a say in specific policies. When i go to vote i am also voting for local state policies not just president and thats it.
Im a registered democratic, but I have no problem with voting for a republican. For me, character matters greatly. I cant in good conscious vote for someone with poor moral character.
Both are extremely flawed on character. She was Willie Brown's affair so that she could get promoted in the California Democrat Party. She has kept prisoners longer than their sentences to keep them for fighting fires at a discounted rate. On the case of flawed personal morality, neither has the edge. She engages in just as much divisive rhetoric as he does. So, now that we have established moral character can't be why you will vote for either one, vote for the policies. Kamala approves of everything Biden did, because she was a part of the decision making process. Anderson Cooper asked her what she would have done differently, and other friendly reporters have as well. She provides non-answers and evasion We had four years under essentially both candidates. Which one had the more exonomically prosperous term. Which one didn't cause you to worry about Ukraine and WW3. Which one has tried to curb illegal immigration through all means, and which one allowed the record amount to just roam freely. Which one is putting out a policy that will put more money that you individually have earned. The homeowners down payment will just cause the price to go up 25k. Which doesn't help. No taxes on tips and OT lets you keep more of your money you earned. Less tax on businesses, lets them invest into growing or get better pay for their employees or both. Because businesses are always trying to look for ways to grow and be more competitive. It's why real wage growth happened under Trump.
@ChopChic1 And the lives of the mothers? It's really more complex, friend. Mothers are dying needing care and nobody dares help them for fear of being incarcerated.
Lecrae, this is one of the best political discussions that I've ever heard. This was so very needed. It was so beautiful and refreshing to see two brothers articulate their views with love and respect. I want to see more of this!☺️
This is absolutely the best conversation that I’ve ever heard from 2 people with opposing political views. I echo many of their sentiments about neither party being ideal!
This is the only debate I care to listen to this election season. It’s so encouraging to hear people disagree without name calling or coming in to it with the assumption that the other person and their beliefs are garbage. Thank you for doing this, all of you.
Thats bad and very closed minded to literally only listen to one debate and base your vote off that. I hope there are not many people out there like you.
You have to engage in everything and look at the record of the people. Plus who they endorse. And if your religious vote off who represents your values closest. If you are Christian then it's about a few subjects. If you are curious. Read and understand your bible
Huh? He said he Deconstructed and was reconstructed by God…, Sooo what about his position is making you comment and what do you think coming out of the fray means?
This conversation is like a glass of fresh water in the middle of a desert. My goodness. I can't say enough about how much I appreciate you and these two men.
Just the way they started making it CLEAR that your political association has NOTHING to do with your salvation was good to hear . compared to a lot of these evangelical talks that literally pit believers against each other based on how they vote… like bro what if someone is legitimately uneducated on what is on their ballot
It is refreshing to have two people, on different sides of the aisle, sit down and have a meaningful conversation. We need more of this! More civility!
This is the VERY BEST Christian & political discussion I’ve heard this entire election cycle. I love Lecrae’s music, but I especially appreciate him moderating this discussion 🙏🏻
Thank you so much Lecrae for having this forum. This was absolutely one of the most honest and thoughtful discussions from a Christian perspective that I’ve ever seen. If we as Christians think that the devil won’t corrupt or attack us from both sides, then we truly don’t know our adversary. We must continue to keep our eyes on Jesus Christ and pray for the unity of the body of Christ. If we take on the incivility and character of the world, how can we continue to be salt and light.
In my opinion, this is the conversation all Americans need to hear. The focus of the conversation, the understanding of the assignment, the explaining of the proper place politics has in our lives, is all some of the best wisdom I've heard in quite a while. As an Independent voter, this conversation is a breath of fresh air in this very dangerous, dirty and basically cultish political society.
Great discussion. I personally believe that Christians should be independent rather than have an earthly political affiliation. We are ambassadors of Gods Kingdom that must be reflected on earth. Love!
I'm NPA. The problem is that in states like mine (FL) you don't get to participate in primaries unless you are a part of a party. I think, as both gentlemen stated, that having that primary vote is very important.
I love the comments on this thread. My respect to you all. The panelists were exceptional. This indeed goes to confirm the similarities about the need for civility in our public discourse.
Man it’s refreshing to see and hear a civilized, intellectual conversation from both sides of the aisle. Thank you for using your platform to provide a voice to a conversation such as this one.
This discussion was refreshing and much needed. It's encouraging to see two people reach across the aisle and respectfully present the topics without ego or pretense. Great episode that I will be sharing with others!
Thank you for this conversation! I have really been struggling on whether or not to vote this time around. These two gentlemen give a lot of good insights to think about.
It is easy, dictatorships vs democracy. Felon vs prosecutor. Hate for your neighbors vs love for everyone. Someone who plans t listen to everyone vs someone who plans to listen only to his rich friends. A party that spreads hate and division vs one want togetogerness. Someone who is easily bribed , is using his political office to sell goods and enriched himself or someone who wants to use the political office to serve the people. A party who wants to take away the rights of your wife, mother and daughter or one wh respect their rights.
Thank you Lecrae for bringing these two men of God together and having a great conversation together /// I greatly appreciated your input and their insights /// blessings man!
This was the best and most articulate convo on these subjects I have heard. They speak to everything I've been feeling and didn't know how to express fully.
The Democrat, I don’t believe is a Christian man. You can’t be Christian and Democrat at the same time. You can eat out of God’s table and devil’s table at the same time.
@@ClaudyGODMinistries if that is the case republicans are not able to eat at God’s table. Both parties are not following the true word of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Once someone asked me how I could be a Democrat and a Christian. He said I could not be both. I told him I can change my party affiliation tomorrow but I cannot change my faith.
If only ALL debates/conversations could be conducted in the same manner as these two gentleman! I was able to receive some good info. and gain a different perspective on a few things from each of them. Thank you for this refreshing exchange 🙂
It’s can’t happened when brainwashed people are lead by erratic dictators who attack anyone who don’t agree…. They use names and even tell them go attack others even if it’s neighbors, friend, and family… the. They say the other side is doing everything that they are doing. Only one spends every sec attacking the followers and labeling them as threats and terrorist. They weaponize emotions and victimhood!
What blows my mind is that she is even put on the same level with him. That’s kind of absurd when you look at everything about them. She is in a totally different league. Just my opinion though. 🤷🏾♀️
OM Goodness!! The fact that you said what I been saying for months. Exactly!! How did we wind up with the same candidates campaigned for our vote after 3 & 1/2 years. It's been said that presidents are not elected, they are selected. This statement appears to bear so much truth!
God is not a Democrat or Republican. The good news is not Gospel + political affiliation. We are ambassadors for Christ. Our kingdom and citizenship are in heaven. Our main calling is to be a light to the world and salt of the earth which means to share the Gospel and to show the love of God - help the hungry, thirsty, naked, sick and imprisoned. This is our first and foremost mission. As good citizens of our nation we should vote accordingly to biblical truths but our political beliefs and actions should not hinder or interfere with our main mission of sharing the Gospel and being a witness for Christ. As a Christian you can vote for Democrat because God is pro-choice (not pro-abortion). God does not force morality on anyone because He allows you to choose (due to free-will) and honors your choice independent of whether your choice is right or wrong. In other words, terminating a pregnancy is ultimately between the woman and God and not up to the government. Many can't see how Christians can be Republicans who support a convicted sexual predator, lover of strife and discord, proclaimed adulterer, unstoppable reviler, genitals grabber, church divider, and pathological liar who is totally opposite of Christ whom they profess to serve. Some say that it's OK to follow an evil leader because God can use an evil leader for His own purposes. But doesn't the Old Testament show that after God uses the evil leader He punishes and even destroys the evil leader and followers? Isn't it also true that those who empower and support an evil leader are somewhat also responsible for the evil acts of the leader? Doesn't 1 Tim 5:22 warn us of sharing responsibility for the sins of others by being too hasty to approve servants and ministers of God which includes civil authorities like the President? (Romans 13:6) The bible does say who you should vote for. You should vote for someone who will give you a "tranquil and quiet life full of godliness and dignity". (1Tim 2:1-2) Who can that be? It is someone who is the most Christ-like. Why? Because integrity and character matters (by their fruits you shall know them) and policies don't matter as much because many candidates once elected don't follow their party, platform, and promised policies. Integrity and character are time-tested indicators of how leaders will successfully react to and handle future crises. If voting means a choice between small Satan or big Satan then don't vote at all. We are not required to make a vote that would sear our conscience. Jesus demands that you walk and abide in the Truth, not in a false reality. At the end of the day God will not ask you whether you voted for a Democrat or Republican. Instead He will ask you whether you knew His Son, did you share the Gospel, and did you show the love of God - help the hungry, thirsty, naked, sick and imprisoned. Did you love Me? Did you love your neighbor? Did you love your enemies?
@seekaloft It is clear that you want to vote Kamala. Remember that it's is a. Commandment- Thous shalt not bear false witness. Have you researched the facts properly before publishing those accusations you made about Trump?
Say it again !!!! From the rooftops! They are taking away rights and we don’t even notice because it’s disguised as religion. Give them devils an inch and they will take back everything we have.
@seekaloft May God help you, bless you with abundant wisdom and correct you with His love and gentleness. You are fooling nobody with your fake, long, Christian-sounding post. In my opinion, you took all the Bible quotations out of context. But none of these was as revealing as your attempt to use God's name to justify your pro- choice stance and the desire to end the lives of innocent human babies. No society allows murder just because it is an expression of choice. Taking your argument, imagine if we said that merder is no longer illegal because the act is between the killer and God, and the government need not intervene. Whaaat??? You would disagree. But you want to employ that exact rationale specifically when babies in the womb are unalived. That is demonic logic. The commandment on merder is clear forever.
God bless these brothers. Definitely showcasing the fruits of the Spirit in this conversation. Forget politics for a sec. Thank you for representing Christ!
Thoroughly enjoyed this episode and appreciated hearing both sides of the discussion. It definitely gave me things to think about in relation to my own points of view as well as others points of view.
I've already been persecuted by Christians for my vote 🙁 and I'm a 70 yo white female who recently returned to my faith. I prayed long and hard and obeyed God but it wasn't who they wanted. God has since used my vote to open doors, teach me, lead me here, lead me to Scripture. I am loving this and plan to watch again when I can really sit and focus. Thank you so much for being part of my journey in Christ.
If you studied the word, studied the candidates and prayed earnestly then be at peace. I've been persecuted as well as a lifelong black republican woman. 🤷🏽♀️ ❤
A small point of correction - Lincoln was not willing to burn everything down to free slaves... his ultimate goal was to preserve the union (the opposite of burning it down). The South rallied behind "States Rights!" -> this was their declared intention for secession from the union. But it was rooted in differences on Slavery. Through the Emancipation Proclamation Lincoln wisely cut the root of the South's declared intentions away. It VERY well be argued that the Emancipation Proclamation was the turning point of the war. It changed the entire dynamic and mentality of the war. It cut away the root of the South's main reason for different states to maintain their rights enough to secede. There are many in the south, who remember the declared original intentions. When they state "the south will rise again" it is that there will be new topics at some point in the future (now?!) that will be so divisive that states will want out of the union. Do states have that right? Are we more members of our states, or more members of the federal government? Look at how divisive Abortion is... do states have the right limit it? OR should the nation make a choice for all states and enforce conformity?
Lincoln literally said that if it was a way to unite the country and the south keep their slaves, he would. He was more about uniting the country than freeing blacks
@@christophermm23that’s why o laughed when he said the country has survived much worse attacks vs the Constitution. The Constitution has never been fully enforced from the start, and deliberately so 😂

True . Everyone worried about personality and morality. I want some one who is bold and strong who can lead without being apologetic about doing what needs to get done . If I need a mentor or a role model I’ll go to church to look for that. Politics is a dirty nasty game and your guy has to be the badest one to win. Just my opinion
Question: was David the meanest dirtiest person or Samuel? Did God not choose them because of their heart and not appearance? Even when David decided to be dirty and mean and kill someone's husband to take his wife didn't he nearly loose his destiny and God's plan for him??? Your Christian beliefs can not be lukewarm...you are either hot or cold...know where you stand
No we are voting for a nation and the values we stand for which comes down to family, and community which effects us all. Yet when social activates and beliefs infringe upon what God asks condemns us as a nations our leaders must step in and maintain the values this nation was founded on.

I loved this discussion. I am a Christian who cares a little too deeply about politics. I think the issues are the main reason why. Politics leaves casualties because it is the policies of men. We know where that leads. Yet it is what we have to deal with in our day today lives.

Excellent episode. Thank you. ❤ My issue is that the platforms and policies are so broad I cannot in good conscience push back on one issue (abortion) without losing support for Medicare, home purchase down payment help, social safety net programs, realistic and reasonable gun control policies, and climate change.
This helped me so much be ok with my decision. I have been praying since last year about this election. I have restled and been in the secret place crying out to God about what to do. I love God first, so I choose him. The best part I got from this sit down was INCIVILITY IS INEFFECTIVE 🙏🏾❤ We all can disagree for many different reasons. We must continue to walk in love and pray for the whole world to choose Yeshua before it's too late 🙏🏾
We can't separate our political views from God's will. When someone is bent on PASSING LAWS of killing human beings, homosexuality, you're voting against God's will. Everyone has faults, but PASSINGS LAWS that kill God's creation should not be ignored.
@@faithdiggs6030This is such a deceptive framing of the issue. The true Pro-life stance is a total and complete ban of ALL abortions with no exceptions for rape and incest. Does the Republican party or Trump fully endorses that position? If not, then they also sanction killing the unborn, therefore you have no moral high ground on this matter.
@@validatedclassified2564this is stupid. Banning abortion except for rape & incest is at a higher ground morally than allowing murdering of babies up to birth… so yea there literally is a moral high ground 😂

So blessed and you did a great job moderating. Thank you! My faith. My convictions. I lean heavily conservative.
You vote that way but do not judge another Believer for voting the opposite. God looks at all sins, God does not show Partiality, Ya Hu Shua said you break one you break all. God said woes to the poor, woe to killing.
It’s crazy how podcasts are still better at extracting information than actual TV news; I think that having them in long form just talking makes a connection, curious to see if they keep doing it next election
It's hard to do this on TV because it's a wide base of interest they have to keep in mind. It forums like this it's on the viewer to show their interest
I’ve been thinking maybe I shouldn’t vote but I know God is leading me to vote. This conversation helped me realize I am not alone on my concerns. I am grateful for this conversation because it was like all of the things I have been thinking through. Good stuff
Your taking that verse out of context yes all have sinned but there must be accountability for all of us , First we take the plank out of our eye before we take the speck out our brothers eye then we can see clear and make a right judgement
No offense bruh but this comment is so ironic. You’re right, they did take that verse out of context. They didn’t include the entirety of the passage. But they also certainly didn’t twist its meaning. The word of God speaks for itself. They original commenter didn’t not try to interpret the verse or make a claim as to its meaning. So the fact that you assumed it was something you disagree with is very telling. Not to mention the epitome of irony: telling someone else that they’re wrong and using the verse about “the log in eye” Accountability is a wonderful thing. You don’t always gotta be correcting people though. You do always gotta be loving people. And that’s much more helpful anyways.
@@jenealeverett2269 Love at LEAST includes the following: seeking to understand others, putting yourself in their shoes, being sensitive to others’ needs. I agree love and accountability go hand in hand. But I don’t think you can have accountability without love. Holding people accountable without really knowing them, caring for them, or having significance in their life isn’t really holding people accountable, it’s just calling them out. Which is not very productive. And if we’re calling people out without making sure to care about the other person, it doesn’t really seem like you care about the person at that point, you just care about being right. Also, uhhhh, who’s talking about murder?
This was phenomenal. Super informative, civil. We need more of these kinds of discussions. Loving my neighbor first, agreeing to disagree and still care about one another. so good!
This was very refreshing and insightful. I feel like we need to see more nuanced civil conversations from across the aisle to normalize constructive discussions that lead to more progressive policies and voting trends that lead to a better nation for everyone
I would consider myself a Christian democrat. I think that it’s a lot of very complex moral issues all combined together now and all we do is argue about it. We need to have civil discussions like these guys. One of the most discussed issues is abortion. I think its a sin and I would never do it. But God gave us free will for a reason and we need to make that choice for ourselves. That’s the way I look at it. Also there are situations where I can completely understand get an abortion. If you are a woman who’s been raped and are in a fragile state of mind then I understand getting the abortion but that doesn’t mean I think that it’s right. Also some people are in a situation where their child has passed and they need to remove it or the mother will die too. This is just one issue and I think we live in one of the most morally complex worlds and at the end of the day we just need to listen to each other, and especially Jesus.
They're just going to blame you, I'm talking about conservative Christians, for "allowing" that in your space. When the reality is Christians have always been fighters, conservatives shame and repel rather than love and reform. Democratic Christians should be loving and reforming. To me that's more effective. Now I'm personally not religious anymore but I still believe in God. Religious people tend to forget they aren't the judge jury nor executioners. They are the word spreaders, the messengers. The builders and hope bringers of society.
The gentleman who talked about 45 was fine and good UNTIL the conversation shifted specifically to the candidates. He seemed to lose all objectivity, giving him pass after pass after pass. There is a sense of blindness when it comes to this man, and it is beyond frustrating.

Such a great discussion! I have been that Black Democrat and Black Republican. My attempt is always to see myself as a woman of God first who votes for the politician who comes closes to representing the direction I believe the country should move on a civil level
Thats good of you, unforunatelty thats the same thing the israelites did when they rejected god by rejecting samuel when they chose their first king.
@@Flower5181
no party is going going the right direction.

Great conversation. White boy from Canada and I couldn't get enough of this very respectful conversation. It was thought provoking to say the least.
(Romans 13:6)
The bible does say who you should vote for.
Amen and well said

May God help you, bless you with abundant wisdom and correct you with His love and gentleness.

Like pushing back at illigal immigrant and baby genocide
This conversation is amazing! I am independent but I pray before I vote and research polices that lean towards morals and values of the Most High God! Thank you for sharing! God Bless!
I loved this discussion. I am a Christian who cares a little too deeply about politics. I think the issues are the main reason why. Politics leaves casualties because it is the policies of men. We know where that leads. Yet it is what we have to deal with in our day today lives.
Thank you so much for facilitating this conversation!
Neither parties can save this country. The church should be about Jesus Christ ways not man ways😢
The country has always thrived better when Democrats are in power than Republicans.
Mar 28, 2024 - "The US economy has since World War II consistently done better under Democratic presidents than under Republican presidents. "
Google it!
Still vote for policy
And Jesus call you to fight for the oppressed and the unborn children are being murdered
Finally, someone went there. Christianity and politics. Thank you for this great discussion!
One more thing, I can't wait until he interviews the pastor/disciple Phillip Mitchell
Yes immediately
I’m so looking forward to listening to this!!! Thank you Lecrae!
Thank you Lecrae. This was so refreshing.
Excellent podcast! I appreciate all three of your insightful and intelligent comments.
His perspective validates how money is more important than values because most of the rich that are voting for Donald Trump are voting for him because he puts corporations before the average American
One of his most popular policies when he was in office was tax cuts for the rich
Simple question : Who offers employment, the rich, or the poor ?.
Simple question who exploits the poor?
Who is against Unions?
@@yardchesternook2834 *Flawed* question for making something complex binary? Corporations offer employment and they are neither... Middle class people offer employment... The government offers employment...
Who told you this? Why do you believe this is true? This statement has been used against poor to middle class people for years. People that don't know God's word and trust in his promises vulnerable to this. It's called covetousness. Did you know corporations can't pay taxes because it has to produce a product to sell. That tax is passed to the consumer.
I am seeing more rich with the other side. What are you talking about?
My allegiance is not with this world. But I’m here for the rhetoric
True, but you’re supposed to care about your brothers and sisters in Christ and policies affect them.
@@Jesusistheonlyway549exactly. Like the equality act. Pretty words to hide religious persecution.
But you live in the world!!
Ignorance speaking ….
@faithkatunge5200 We live in the world, but don't owe it allegiance. Better yet, we can CHANGE the world while we are here and dissolve these strongholds and earthly principalities
By far the best way to think about the issue presently! 🙏🏽
This has been the most refreshing political conversation I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. Thoroughly enjoyed the discourse. Thanks gentlemen! Civility is the word ❤
We must continue to walk in love and pray for the whole world to choose Yeshua before it's too late 🙏🏾
what is your decision?
We can't separate our political views from God's will. When someone is bent on PASSING LAWS of killing human beings, homosexuality, you're voting against God's will. Everyone has faults, but PASSINGS LAWS that kill God's creation should not be ignored.
@@faithdiggs6030This is such a deceptive framing of the issue. The true Pro-life stance is a total and complete ban of ALL abortions with no exceptions for rape and incest. Does the Republican party or Trump fully endorses that position? If not, then they also sanction killing the unborn, therefore you have no moral high ground on this matter.
@@faithdiggs6030 ABSOLUTELY AGREE!!
@@validatedclassified2564this is stupid. Banning abortion except for rape & incest is at a higher ground morally than allowing murdering of babies up to birth… so yea there literally is a moral high ground 😂
Be ware with the average listener, the level of Maturity needed for this conversation is IMMENSE. This was so refreshing man. So so so needed.
Yes I wasn't really aware of the globalist to that much.. But am educated and believed him. Sadly in my area and it maybe me, but I haven't heard anyone that loves and supports Trump really say that at all. Idk.. Im going to read up. Sadly we are all blessed and as Americans people are watching. I've heard from a true Bible scholar and told all my kids at a more poverty based school, if u can own a book and read it.. In the entire World's view, you are rich.
@Lecrae- Thank you so much for having and facilitating this conversation with these two excellent intelligent men! It is such a breath of fresh air to hear both sides acknowledge the best and the worst/areas for improvement in both parties, especially from a balanced, respectful, Christian perspective on both sides.🧐🤓😊
Great conversation to have from a spiritual perspective! Neither party is GODLY. 👈🏾
But one party’s primary policy is making it unanimously okay to stop a baby’s beating heart, so the choice seems obvious.
Who lied to you?

Read revelations and determine which party will likely be leading us into end times of tribulation....it talks about all the sinful ways that will be celebrated by those ppl in power....lust, perversion, confusion (pro-lgtbq),
encouraging evil and hating whats good and holy (anti-christ, immorality),
murder (pro-abortion and antagonized war),
lawlessness and chaos (the open border)
Illness And Forced mark of the beast/microchip in order to buy, sell, and trade for survival (much like the mandated covid vaccine -which covid itself was funded and created by Dr. Fauci -a democrat who then became the spokesperson for the mandatory vaccine.
Theres so much more as well but i'll leave u with those similarities. The dems celebrate and sign-off on chaos, confusion, physical and mental illness, lawlessness, and perversion.
Finally! A cordial civil conversation of humans trying to have a good conversation and understand other people and their points of view. I also love how they chose two black men as well
Great podcast Lecrae 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Nothing is more refreshing than seeing men….especially Black men…sit and have a healthy debate or conversation where there is disagreement with respect and civility.
Good stuff
Which way are you leaning?
I was thinking the same think but i will vote my civic needs.
Thats the devil, god is not a taker of faces a.k.a plays favorites
This is one of the best videos I’ve seen on the topic ever.
"Whoever is without sin may he cast the first stone..." ❤🙏🏾
Your taking that verse out of context yes all have sinned but there must be accountability for all of us , First we take the plank out of our eye before we take the speck out our brothers eye then we can see clear and make a right judgement
@jesusandmygermanshepherdro7343 We could go a hundred rounds if we're going to use scripture. I said what I said. It was a true statement.
Not to mention the epitome of irony: telling someone else that they’re wrong and using the verse about “the log in eye”
Accountability is a wonderful thing. You don’t always gotta be correcting people though. You do always gotta be loving people. And that’s much more helpful anyways.
@@CassisBlu but what is love? Love and accountability go hand and hand, especially if we are talking about murder
I feel like we need to see more nuanced civil conversations from across the aisle to normalize constructive discussions that lead to more progressive policies and voting trends that lead to a better nation for everyone
christians shouldnt want liberal/ progressive policies such as murdering children

The Democratic Party supports LGBTQ+ we know that is not okay as Christian’s.
God gave us free will, but free will doesn't excuse sin.
The gentleman who talked about 45 was fine and good UNTIL the conversation shifted specifically to the candidates. He seemed to lose all objectivity, giving him pass after pass after pass. There is a sense of blindness when it comes to this man, and it is beyond frustrating.
100%
exactly and this is the issue with Christian Repubs, they lowered the standard and made his a psoudo messiah with all our false prophecies and now they double down and then gaslight us saying we are not christians for not voting repub.... serious double standard, hypocrisy
How anyone can be Christian and vote for a party that thinks God made a mistake in what gender he chose and supports abortions is beyond me. Not to mention how the democrat party loves to segregate races. Trumps no saint but he clearly supports things that are better suited for Christians.
