I've never seen a better presentation of what political parties are about and what their role should be. I also fully agree with the presentation of the primary role of the Christian and stewardship in our society. This episode should be made as mandatory viewing in every High School civics classroom. It probably would never be allowed on a cable news network due to the plain speak it affords on the political machine. Thank you for the presentation!

I was with you up until you said ‘I believe the country should go on a civil level’, it should never be about what we believe but about the standard that God calls us to live by. We should vote the Bible and not on what we believe is best. I have an issue with how lax the democratic party is with abortion. The Bible is clear we should not murder , yet that’s what they are advocating for and it’s amazing how many Christians are voting for this party and ignoring the elephant in the room. I’m not saying you’re voting republican or democrat, but my point is, it shouldn’t be about the direction WE think the country should go in, but about the standard that God calls us to live by.

no party is going going the right direction. Abortion is not the only wrong. There are 10 commandments.
Christians were not supposed to be picking a human leader to rule. That is what caused us to be distanced from God. We were not supposed to have kings and queens remember.
Christians are only supposed to be following the Lord God Almighty and reading His Word. Jesus came here to teach us how to spread God love and Word to people around the world. Jesus came here to teach us how to behave even when we are around people who disagree. Jesus was showing us how to approach people, talk to people, and how to not be hateful, judgemental, and gossipy.
We are just to respect the leaders.
The many sins we ignore are what lead to issues like abortion.

Both are extremely flawed on character. She was Willie Brown's affair so that she could get promoted in the California Democrat Party.
She has kept prisoners longer than their sentences to keep them for fighting fires at a discounted rate.
On the case of flawed personal morality, neither has the edge. She engages in just as much divisive rhetoric as he does. So, now that we have established moral character can't be why you will vote for either one, vote for the policies.
Kamala approves of everything Biden did, because she was a part of the decision making process. Anderson Cooper asked her what she would have done differently, and other friendly reporters have as well. She provides non-answers and evasion We had four years under essentially both candidates. Which one had the more exonomically prosperous term. Which one didn't cause you to worry about Ukraine and WW3. Which one has tried to curb illegal immigration through all means, and which one allowed the record amount to just roam freely.
Which one is putting out a policy that will put more money that you individually have earned. The homeowners down payment will just cause the price to go up 25k. Which doesn't help. No taxes on tips and OT lets you keep more of your money you earned. Less tax on businesses, lets them invest into growing or get better pay for their employees or both. Because businesses are always trying to look for ways to grow and be more competitive. It's why real wage growth happened under Trump.

It is easy, dictatorships vs democracy. Felon vs prosecutor. Hate for your neighbors vs love for everyone. Someone who plans t listen to everyone vs someone who plans to listen only to his rich friends. A party that spreads hate and division vs one want togetogerness. Someone who is easily bribed , is using his political office to sell goods and enriched himself or someone who wants to use the political office to serve the people. A party who wants to take away the rights of your wife, mother and daughter or one wh respect their rights.

God is not a Democrat or Republican. The good news is not Gospel + political affiliation. We are ambassadors for Christ. Our kingdom and citizenship are in heaven. Our main calling is to be a light to the world and salt of the earth which means to share the Gospel and to show the love of God - help the hungry, thirsty, naked, sick and imprisoned. This is our first and foremost mission. As good citizens of our nation we should vote accordingly to biblical truths but our political beliefs and actions should not hinder or interfere with our main mission of sharing the Gospel and being a witness for Christ.
As a Christian you can vote for Democrat because God is pro-choice (not pro-abortion). God does not force morality on anyone because He allows you to choose (due to free-will) and honors your choice independent of whether your choice is right or wrong. In other words, terminating a pregnancy is ultimately between the woman and God and not up to the government.
Many can't see how Christians can be Republicans who support a convicted sexual predator, lover of strife and discord, proclaimed adulterer, unstoppable reviler, genitals grabber, church divider, and pathological liar who is totally opposite of Christ whom they profess to serve. Some say that it's OK to follow an evil leader because God can use an evil leader for His own purposes. But doesn't the Old Testament show that after God uses the evil leader He punishes and even destroys the evil leader and followers? Isn't it also true that those who empower and support an evil leader are somewhat also responsible for the evil acts of the leader? Doesn't 1 Tim 5:22 warn us of sharing responsibility for the sins of others by being too hasty to approve servants and ministers of God which includes civil authorities like the President? (Romans 13:6)
The bible does say who you should vote for. You should vote for someone who will give you a "tranquil and quiet life full of godliness and dignity". (1Tim 2:1-2) Who can that be? It is someone who is the most Christ-like. Why? Because integrity and character matters (by their fruits you shall know them) and policies don't matter as much because many candidates once elected don't follow their party, platform, and promised policies. Integrity and character are time-tested indicators of how leaders will successfully react to and handle future crises. If voting means a choice between small Satan or big Satan then don't vote at all. We are not required to make a vote that would sear our conscience. Jesus demands that you walk and abide in the Truth, not in a false reality.
At the end of the day God will not ask you whether you voted for a Democrat or Republican. Instead He will ask you whether you knew His Son, did you share the Gospel, and did you show the love of God - help the hungry, thirsty, naked, sick and imprisoned. Did you love Me? Did you love your neighbor? Did you love your enemies?

You are fooling nobody with your fake, long, Christian-sounding post. In my opinion, you took all the Bible quotations out of context.
But none of these was as revealing as your attempt to use God's name to justify your pro- choice stance and the desire to end the lives of innocent human babies.
No society allows murder just because it is an expression of choice. Taking your argument, imagine if we said that merder is no longer illegal because the act is between the killer and God, and the government need not intervene.
      Whaaat???
You would disagree. But you want to employ that exact rationale specifically when babies in the womb are unalived. That is demonic logic.
The commandment on merder is clear forever.

A small point of correction - Lincoln was not willing to burn everything down to free slaves... his ultimate goal was to preserve the union (the opposite of burning it down).
The South rallied behind "States Rights!" -> this was their declared intention for secession from the union.
But it was rooted in differences on Slavery.
Through the Emancipation Proclamation Lincoln wisely cut the root of the South's declared intentions away. It VERY well be argued that the Emancipation Proclamation was the turning point of the war. It changed the entire dynamic and mentality of the war. It cut away the root of the South's main reason for different states to maintain their rights enough to secede.
There are many in the south, who remember the declared original intentions. When they state "the south will rise again" it is that there will be new topics at some point in the future (now?!) that will be so divisive that states will want out of the union. Do states have that right? Are we more members of our states, or more members of the federal government? Look at how divisive Abortion is... do states have the right limit it? OR should the nation make a choice for all states and enforce conformity?

Read revelations and determine which party will likely be leading us into end times of tribulation....it talks about all the sinful ways that will be celebrated by those ppl in power....lust, perversion, confusion (pro-lgtbq),
encouraging evil and hating whats good and holy (anti-christ, immorality),
      murder (pro-abortion and antagonized war),
lawlessness and chaos (the open border)
Illness And Forced mark of the beast/microchip in order to buy, sell, and trade for survival (much like the mandated covid vaccine -which covid itself was funded and created by Dr. Fauci -a democrat who then became the spokesperson for the mandatory vaccine.

No offense bruh but this comment is so ironic. You’re right, they did take that verse out of context. They didn’t include the entirety of the passage. But they also certainly didn’t twist its meaning. The word of God speaks for itself. They original commenter didn’t not try to interpret the verse or make a claim as to its meaning. So the fact that you assumed it was something you disagree with is very telling. Not to mention the epitome of irony: telling someone else that they’re wrong and using the verse about “the log in eye”
Accountability is a wonderful thing. You don’t always gotta be correcting people though. You do always gotta be loving people. And that’s much more helpful anyways.

Holding people accountable without really knowing them, caring for them, or having significance in their life isn’t really holding people accountable, it’s just calling them out. Which is not very productive. And if we’re calling people out without making sure to care about the other person, it doesn’t really seem like you care about the person at that point, you just care about being right.

I would consider myself a Christian democrat. I think that it’s a lot of very complex moral issues all combined together now and all we do is argue about it. We need to have civil discussions like these guys. One of the most discussed issues is abortion. I think its a sin and I would never do it. But God gave us free will for a reason and we need to make that choice for ourselves. That’s the way I look at it. Also there are situations where I can completely understand get an abortion. If you are a woman who’s been raped and are in a fragile state of mind then I understand getting the abortion but that doesn’t mean I think that it’s right. Also some people are in a situation where their child has passed and they need to remove it or the mother will die too. This is just one issue and I think we live in one of the most morally complex worlds and at the end of the day we just need to listen to each other, and especially Jesus.

They're just going to blame you, I'm talking about conservative Christians, for "allowing" that in your space. When the reality is Christians have always been fighters, conservatives shame and repel rather than love and reform. Democratic Christians should be loving and reforming. To me that's more effective. Now I'm personally not religious anymore but I still believe in God. Religious people tend to forget they aren't the judge jury nor executioners. They are the word spreaders, the messengers. The builders and hope bringers of society.
