@@Marvinmartion in my experience of humans, when deciding what to do they will first do what they have done before out of habit or self-consistency (vote for same candidate or same party), if they can’t do that they will do what their friends are doing, and if they can’t do that they will actually look at things more closely and try to do what seems best. I just gotta look at the comment section here and I can fully understand why people are still undecided. Given that the chances of either candidate actually upholding their promises is near nill, what you're ACTIALLY voting for is which group of people is going to be absolutely insufferable for the next few years.
Well here’s something for those undecided voters. I work for an importer. We import from China, Tawain, Turkey etc. Just finished a meeting with the bosses. Someone asked the boss if we will have to pass on an increase in tariff next year to our distributors. We are already going to pass 25% of the China tariff next year and an increase in price because our exemption code expired in May and we cannot renew it. Everyone in the meeting said that will depend on the election. Soooo if Trump wins be sure to know the company WILL BE PASSING EVEN BIGGER PERCENTAGE OF TARIFFS TO OUR DISTRIBUTORS WITH PRICE INCREASE. THAT MEANS THE DISTRIBUTORS WILL PASS IT TO THE RETAILERS AND THE RETAILERS WILL BE INCREASING THEIR PRICES. This will happen across the board. If tariffs are increased and implemented overseas be sure to know the consumer will be paying for those prices. Cutting taxes is not going to help you when you go to the supermarket or a clothing store or any other store. Those tariffs will just come back to haunt us.
Yeah, but it's useless. Those people don't know what a tariff is. And will take Trump's word about it. I guarantee you that 80% of his base thinks it involves China sending containers full of cash back to the US. That's their level of understanding of how the world works.
I think you have a fundamental misunderstanding on how politics works, politicians need to earn your vote, they do this buy representing policies that improve your life, obviously kamala is the better candidate, but people who vote undecided are not needy, they are not being represented
Unfortunately you're wrong. There absolutely are people who won't decide until they are in the voting booth. And others who don't want to admit that they have decided what they have decided. Maybe not even to themselves.

For America and the world, yes. Stupidity and apathy strikes again!
Undecided = embarassed/ashamed of saying they will vote for Trump.
That's the truth.
Or maybe they don't know. When you are young, you can easily be manipulated and find a hard time figuring out who to trust. Then when other people talk to you about it they don't help you, they just get mad at you for not making the same choice as them. Then it isn't about not knowing what you want, but you being told that because you don't know you therefore must want X, Y, Z "bad thing" to happen.
@@ronswanson1410the manipulation goes into schools too. I went to a private catholic high school and they tried brainwashing us so much in voting with our religion in mind. In as strongly against it as there should always be a separation of church and state. That’s what the gop doesn’t acknowledge along with a mixture or racism, delusion, and wanting financial benefits. The teachers even treated me worse when I spoke out and said I was voting blue for my first election 💙
And don't forget, there actually ARE some human beings (and I'm not saying they're right) some human beings who have seen too many humans crushed by tanks, too many children with burnt, crushed limbs and with their guts hanging out, too many dead relatives covered in concrete dust in the remains of destroyed buildings, to feel confident in voting for even the "caring and competent" party, because they are VERY DIRECTLY associated with the ongoing ethnic cleansing in another part of the world and are very intentionally (and upsettingly) silent on the matter, and when they're not being silent, they're being openly dismissive as well as dishonest.
Some things are more complicated than a funny old guy makes them out to be, at least sometimes.
No, I’m ashamed to vote for either. It is basically the corrupted trying to hold the corrupt for being corrupted. Not a single presidential candidate or member of Congress. Has called for the overturning of Citizens United. When the average cost of a presidential election is a billion dollars. When lobbyists have raised 2 billion dollars in just the first half of 2024. When both candidates prance around like a proud peacock admitting they have billionaires donating millions in legal bribery,to Super PACs. That have the ability to take in unlimited amounts of donations. Flooding corporate media with funds to full the media with mind numbing political rhetoric..
I actually just saw another video from a reputable source talking about the silent Trump voter for that exact reason, they're embarrassed or ashamed to admit that they will vote for him.
The three guys who said they had to do research look just like the guys in college who wait to do their term paper until the night before it's due.
I don't know if they are college material.
As a guy who would wait until the night before a paper is due, I can confirm
Yet another argument to throw out the Electoral College. This would be all over already if the winner only needed a majority of all Americans to vote for them.
But how would republicans ever win again without an electoral system rigged in their favor? By actually modernizing and improving their policy? That doesnt make money for the rich.
Absolutely correct!
Not a democracy smh n u really don't want a country like that constitutional republic
I am for aboloshing the electoral college. but only if we throw all the other political junk out the window with it. the two party system, first past the post politics, the entire concept of states. everything that holds america back. cuz remember the system is there exactly to prevent the people and not the states from choosing the president. it not alligning with the popular vote is a feature not a bug. its the impossible compromise made to enable a bunch of individualistic states from selecting a president despite cultural and population imbalances across the board.
@@bezretmet The Electoral college is what entrenched much of what you're talking about here. It practically can't work without a two party system.
He didn't touch on people who are not undecided, but who can't stand the choices they've been given!
Lewis *almost* breaking character about the vampire joke was my favorite part 😂
Eh, eh, eh, expertise matters!
Calling Kid Rock a musician is gettin real generous.
With the election only a few weeks away, we should stop calling them undecided voters. We should start calling them clueless voters instead.
So insulting/bullying them. Got it.
@@djexclaim9971 Speaking the truth is never bullying or insulting. They may feel insulted or bullied but that's because they don't like to be called what they are to their face.
@@djexclaim9971 Hey I'm fine not calling them that to their face. I'm happy to call them that behind their back. I can actually relate to some of those voters. On the local election front, I am totally clueless about some of the local candidates running for office. That's on me and I take complete responsibility for it!
yes, we are clueless as to why both options for President Will continue funding a genocide
Undecided voters want Republican platitudes and Democratic policies.
America decided Lewis!
Right? Undecided? Bunch of nothing is correct, Mr. Black.
Oh, we have to register? Undecided non-voters.
The hilarity of Trump losing because thousands of red hats are paranoid about being on a government “registry” and refuse to participate.
To me as a German it's the biggest insanity that in the US you even have to register before you're allowed to vote. Shouldn't any citizen be in the register per default?
@@BenjaminFranz-y5fyeah but then democracy would happen
@@BenjaminFranz-y5f Here in Australia it's mandatory to vote, at every level of government. We get fined if we don't. All we ever have to update is what zone we fall in when we move so we're voting in the right elections. And I think that's almost worse. Forcing people who don't care to vote generally leads to malicious compliance. Better to let those fools who don't want to have their say sit at home and not skew results because they were forced to be there.
@@tyrannicpuppy yeah, but why just let everyone vote who wants to vote and has the citizenship without having to register? 😅
Thank You Lewis, I'm always impressed by your ability to cut to the heart of the Matter.
Excellent Lewis Black content.
Lewis Black is still my favorite comedian. He gets it.
If you're undecided by now. Please. Please stay home
You're actually discouraging people from voting?
Yeah if you're not so hyper political that you don't know anything about the candidate who was swapped in last minute that hasn't campaigned and nobody voted for, but you don't like trump, you probably just shouldn't vote!
@@jacobbender2246 Ah, yes. 'Hyper political.' Dude, you can't watch a youtube video or online streaming without getting ads for the candidates. You can't turn on the TV without information about them in the intermissions. If you still can't make up your mind about who to vote for with all the data out there, shred your vote, because it's worthless.
If you want citizens to not vote for any reason let me hold a mirror up to you.
The person who wants to encourage people to opt out of participating in our elections is not a fan of democracy. They are only on board with differing opinions as long as they don’t have any effect on the laws we have to follow. They just aren’t a believer in America and the simplest of her values such as collectively deciding who we give power to, and who we take it away from. They would prefer to just decide that themselves rather than risk the “wrong” choice be made.
This applies as much to the left as the right and this comment section proves it.
@@exDivinityFPS yeah, because ads definitely have the best info!
Why look at their policies and track records at all when you can hear what they want to tell you.
Harry ballz 2024! We don't need any change!
Lewis Black always telling it straight!

So straight he ignored the writing on the wall. Sometimes in a literal sense but I guess he can't read words critical of Israel.
Lewis Black is screaming EXACTLY what is going through my head!!! 😜😜😜
Change, hope, something to vote *for;* not against.
Lewis Black is a LEGEND 🤣. He's the reason why I look for him on the daily show back then. I love his jokes.
I like it when he gets mad and points his finger a lot and his face turns red as he yells. If memory serves, I saw him perform on Late Night with the Cone Bone, back in the day.
Love Lewis Black 🖤🖤🖤🤣🤣🤣
I’m not actually undecided I just believe that who people vote for is their business and should remain private

@@edwardflounoy7207 Jesus, you're right! Totally missed that!
Oh for Pete sakes. Does anyone know why they do anything anymore? We already have to struggle with a 50/50 political dichotomy, and now that it's an easy "Crist-O fascism or not that " there is a bunch of bowl cut bros weighing the options? Very deserving of a Black rant.
Do you mean bowl cut or is that something I haven't heard of?
@@KingRidley yes I did mean bowl cut.
I dont think those voters see him as actual facism though its just a word people throw around to scare others
