You still need to be having the conversations. Lecrae, is having them, not you. If you aren’t , you need to seek them and that may include finding a different place to worship. Also, maybe you need to start facilitating them.

I always remember Stephen in the Bible. Just before he was stoned to death he cried out to God: “Do not charge this sin against them.” - One of the members of that mob ended up becoming the Apostle Paul. The Apostle Paul went on to write more books of the Bible than anyone else. Stephen’s boldness before death was still on Paul’s mind years later (Acts 22: 20). Because of Stephen’s boldness, one of his enemies became a Christian and not just any Christian. Paul was arguably the second best teacher in the Bible after Jesus and was setting up congregations all over the place. The Bible even says he “surpassed” the other Apostles who knew Jesus personally. You just never who your boldness will inspire.

Christians both need to be bold and have grace. They both go hand in hand. There are those who really practice the lifestyle intentionally and are worn real well through their fruits. This lady displayed that really well. Rebuked those of us that need to be rebuked yet reassured us of Gods grace that we can change our faults in the faith. Which is how it should be done. Grace & Truth! I wasn’t a good example of it but I’m working on that right now as I sit here. I’ve had to back up & apologize, slow down and watch what comes out of my pie hole. As baby boomers We’ve not been good examples of G & T to our kids, but a correction made late is still a correction & those you meet in the future will benefit. I love this on so many dimensions! I love her answer to those who say they don't see color! I am not a black woman and I have this book and as Dr. Lyons said I did not get any sense of divisiveness from her book at all rather I saw how much we are one. I admit I only bought the book to support Dr. Lyons and the movement of Christ though her, BUT GOD! This book was such a blessing so because I sowed into good ground I received more than what I gave.
I was this years old when I came across this interview not by intentions. But damn it blowed my mind. Dr. Sarina Lyons is a powerhouse and I definitely enjoyed this piece from start to finish. Moving forward I’m a subscriber. We definitely need more truth speakers like you both, and who are unapologetic about the gospel. Executing boldness with confidence. We need to stand for what we truly believe whole heartedly and stop being lukewarm on the sidelines. “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” with complete boldness and in confidence.

I used to think you were to main stream and assumed you watered down your lyrics to be more vague and appealing to the masses. I would find others like indie tribe or Alex Jean and Young C. This is my first year as a Christian and I’ve been learning humility and boldness for Christ and dude God has put you in an awesome position to be an example! I think the most important thing in this world in the relationship of a parent and a child is trust. A parent must trust their process, and a big part of that process is establishing trust with your child. Both ways. If you cant do that then you have failed.

But it doesn't stop me from sharing a bit about what God has done in my life, what He can do in theirs. And that boldness is to pray for those who very little understanding of who God is. I'm patient. I know God working in His chosen ones.

You'll never convince a demonic world to love like Christ. Period. Satan is the father of lies. You can't reason away racism and hatred through mere discourse. No person can change the heart of another with eloquent speech. It's not a head issue, it's a heart issue.
It's wrong to have thought and belief control anyway. I couldn't stop the grumpy old man neighbor from despising my children. It's his right and his problem. Our job is to forgive and pray and not respond in the same spirit. I didn't pass that test, sadly.

I first heard her speak at Jackie Perry,s conference in Greensboro N.C. I wish they would come to S.C. She is dynamite, she is so dynamic and her speaking so intelligent and answering questions. She don’t stumble when she speak, very eloquent. I’m so happy Jackie introduced her to the world. ❤

Soo profoundly powerful. 🙌🏾 This validates where I am at in my faith. I have so many people in my life who are unbelievers. But it doesn't stop me from sharing a bit about what God has done in my life, what He can do in theirs. And that boldness is to pray for those who very little understanding of who God is. I'm patient. I know God working in His chosen ones.

You'll never convince a demonic world to love like Christ. Period. Satan is the father of lies. You can't reason away racism and hatred through mere discourse. No person can change the heart of another with eloquent speech. It's not a head issue, it's a heart issue.
It's wrong to have thought and belief control anyway. I couldn't stop the grumpy old man neighbor from despising my children. It's his right and his problem. Our job is to forgive and pray and not respond in the same spirit. I didn't pass that test, sadly.
