It’s the same reason why when an old Elvis Presley record gets a rerelease in the pop music charts it goes right to the top because of the nostalgia factor and all the people who buy it because it triggers memories of the time or memories of people from that time. It goes without saying that this was when people still sung for real on tv shows and when acts like this had real talent because they couldn’t fake it and they didn’t want to fake it either. Awesome
I remember a festival on the beach in Belgium, Belgium's Beach Festival (you could've guessed it..), with Wet Wet Wet, Ringo Star (and his all star band), Duran Duran, Joe Cocker and the Passadenas , who absolutely tore the roof of the sucker. Even better than on record, with a supertight funky band backing them. It was truly amazing 😃
