U2 is one of those "soundtrack to my life" kind of bands. They're the kind of band that people put at number one for a long time and then everything else is a distant second place. There's no doubt that the main driver of their success is the song writing coming from Bono plus the incredibly talented collaborators the band has worked with over the years. They're also better live than in studio (which is increasingly more rare these days as musical artists become more and more manufactured). I love browsing UA-cam for their live stuff and this is one of my very favorite ("Every Breaking Wave" from MTV's European Music Awards 2014) ua-cam.com/video/cszigsFaChc/v-deo.html If you're looking for something more explosive try "All Because of You" or "Vertigo" from "How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb" or "Bullet the Blue Sky" from "Joshua Tree" or "Volcano" from "Songs of Innocence"
One of my favorite bands of all time. Bono has an amazing vocal range. I think he is one of the best rock singers of all time. U2 are an Irish rock band from Dublin. Hall of fame induction in 2005.Formed in 1976.They were popular for their live performances. The group have staged several elaborate tours over their musical careers
I had the pleasure of seeing U2 13 yrs ago with my mom. Truly one of the best concerts I've ever been to. Singing along with 70,000 people was truly amazing. Loved your reaction!! ❤️🤘
Awesome reaction - thank you for sharing the first U2 video. 'Where the Streets Have No Name' is a great place to start and also 'Desire' and 'Vertigo' is a great uptempo rocker! Have fun :)
My fav U2 song. One of my all time fav songs. My favorite song lyrically ever. Its genius....a masterpiece of lyrics. As deep as it gets. As with all great artists...U2 is better LIVE than studio version. U REALLY need to chk out their live performance of ONE in their FIRST Slane Castle concert. EPIC doesnt fully describe it. It is their best live performance of the song imo and also contains some lyrics near the end not found elsewhere that I'm aware of. Ty for your reaction. Hugs. Mark
This was the song that made U2 stay together after the 1980s. They recorded it in Berlin just after the end of the Cold War when the Berlin Wall had been destroyed, and a divided Germany was coming together after 46 years of being half free, and half Communist dominated. Rather symbolic of what the band was going through at the time coming out of the 80s, and not quite knowing what relevance they had now that the world had changed so much. ONE was a collaboration between the four members of a "four legged table" to try and determine their own future. The result was pure magic. A song that would not only cement the band together for the rest of "eternity" and set them into the same stratosphere as The Beatles and Rolling Stones [not to mention Bob Dylan and David Bowie, Roy Orbison, Elvis Presley, and Weird Al Yankovik]. This was "the song", along with "With Or Without You", "Where The Streets Have No Name", and "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" that would establish them as the kind of band that you could cover their songs.....but your could never get close to what they had done in the originals. Why is that? Because Bono and Jesus are probably the same person....... or not. It's kind of hard to tell sometimes.... But I don't want to get into that right now.
U2 an absolutely legendary band and theres a reason why they have been going since forming in high school Ireland in 1976 topping the album charts in every decade since, being the the most critically acclaimed band in history winning more grammy awards than any other 22 in total it is there back catalogue of incredible songs and their legendary live shows.
I grew up listening to U2. In my highschool years they were the band for me together with the Police. I loved every song of U2 until after Rattle and Hum. Then only a few songs. One is one of them! Thank you for your great reaction!
It is not a stretch to say that for about a 20 year period U2 was the biggest band in the world... and still impactful for the decade or so after. Their discography is packed with top hits and Grammy awards.
U2 is my favorite rock group of all time. You need to react to their pre-Achtung Baby songs like With Or Without You, New Year’s Day, All I Want Is You, Pride (In The Name Of Love), Where The Streets Have No Name & Sunday Bloody Sunday to hear how Bono’s vocals matured over the years
U2 is definitely an influential band, one of my favorites. Edge(The Guitarist 🎸) is a big influence to me as a Guitarist 👌🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵 He used a Delay effect quite well for various songs. Love to play "Desire" on the guitar Check out the songs "Wire", "Desire", "I Will Follow", "Pride(In the name of Love)", "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For", "Even Better Than The Real Thing", "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me", "Bad", "Discotheque", "All I Want Is You", "A Sort Of Homecoming", "The Sweetest Thing", "Elevation"
Been to a concert last year, first time. When they played the songs from my younger years I really started crying. As being a man in his (late) fifties
This song is a conversation between a man dying of AIDS with his father. Listen to it again. Also if you want to know just how good Bono's vocal range was find anything from Zoo TV live in Sydney, I would recommend Love is blindness/cant help falling ion love with you (they go from one directly into the other, it's magic) but anything from that era is gold.
If want to get a good feel for the energy that is U2, check out their live performance of "Where the Streets Have No Name" at their Elevation Tour in Boston.
I went to both shows in Boston on the Elevation Tour and "Where The Streets Have No Name" was amazing as was "Stay (Faraway So Close!)" I was very close to the stage on the 2nd night and it was probably the best concert I ever went to!
I love where the streets have no name and I am blown away still by the live version played in the Superbowl in '02. If available, give that version a view.
Yes! So good! Definitely do more U2. They are an Irish band that was so huge in their day. Very similar age and Era as Bon Jovi. It would be hard to argue which one of them was bigger, but Bono, U2's singer, used to be one of the biggest celebrities in the world. Like the way you'll here people talk about Taylor Swift or Jay Z today. This song is one of personal favorites of there's that was off the "Achtung Baby" album that was a big deal in the early 90s, but I think you should check out more of their classic stuff from the 80s. Anything off "The Joshua Tree" album is amazing. For what you were asking for, maybe "Sunday, Bloody Sunday" or "Bullet the Blue Sky" might be good.
Hi :) Knowing that you liked Bono's voice in this one.. I recommend Where the Streets Have no Name - Live at Slane Castle... or With or Without You.. from the same concert. Amazing and have more energy, you may be looking for :)
Love your reaction! If you want to hear more of the dynamic sound of U2 in 1 video I highly recommend you to review the live version of "October/Bullet The Blue Sky" live from Paris 2015. It starts off with the very intimate intro of October, with just Bono singing over piano, before bursting into the raw and hard rocking guitars and drums of "Bullet The Blue Sky". You're in for a treat and I'm sure U2 will become a returning featured band on your channel just like Rammstein (I love both bands 😍)
@@BisscuteReacts Yes please review the live performance mentioned as it is totally stunning and gives you a taste of how great their shows are, you will not be disappointed here is a link to it ua-cam.com/video/XIVUfSJGam4/v-deo.html
The Live Aid concert greatest performances were by Queen, we know you already love it, and U2. Queen was showing how great they were and U2 showing how great they would become. Definitely recommend you watch the U2 Live Aid performance. Always like your reactions.
Need to explore more of their music .. they are the greatest Rock Band of their era .. one of their rock greats is “New Years Day’ or “where the streets have no name’ .. Basically they have so many hits I’m surprised you haven’t heard them .. I’m sure some of their music would recognisable to you 💚😀
Wonderful review, Bisscute. You described Bono's vocal qualities very well. Especially since English is not your first language. I'm going to watch many more of your videos.
A great choice for your first U2 track. My favourite, it shows Bono’s voice off perfectly and this song struck a chord with my life when it came out. I’m over 50 now and it still brings back intense memories of a love lost.
I am not even a fan of U2, but I must say they are one of the most important bands of their era. Between Bono's lyrics and vocals, the Edge's guitar parts and tones, and the overall social relevence of the band, U2 is an important band to know. I know you're here for the music, but U2 is so much more than the music. There are few bands like them. U2 was always a little to pop and not enough rock for me to really like them, but I have the utmost respect for how they shaped music. Another band of the same era that had more rock and the punch you talk about is The Smashing Pumpkins. I don't know if you have reacted to them, but I would recommend Bullet With Butterfly Wings. Not the pretty vocals, but powerful. And while I am still not the biggest fan of this band, they are another iconic band of the era, but I prefer Billy Corgan's driving guitar tones to The Edge's "pretty and intricate" soundscapes.
The Smashing Pumpkins had several good songs and an interesting sound but they are not even in the same league as U2 in terms of talent, songwriting, live performance, production and vocals/guitar abilities.
Love your reaction! U2 had a lot of great songs like this ("One"). "I will follow", "Red Hill Minning Town", "New Year's Day" and "Walk On" are my favorites.
I love this song so much. That album Achtung Baby (1991) is a masterpiece, I love it too, it saw the band experiment with different sound textures thanks to Brian Eno's influence on the band from previous albums. It reached its peak in Zooropa (1993). This song have two different video versions.
His voice hasn’t aged his entire career. Timeless tenor and absolutely beautiful ❤ Love a temple, love the higher law, words to live by And I loved your analysis of this masterpiece, subscribed 😊
I love your reaction! I grew up listening to this band and they are really great with a lot of iconic songs. Based on what your looking for songwise, I'd recommend Sunday Bloody Sunday live at red rocks, Even better than the real thing, Elevation or Vertigo. Hope this helps!
I'd say Unforgettable Fire is also a masterpiece. Not so sure about All That You Can't Leave Behind. It's got some good songs, but many have their best versions off album.
@@HercuLync id say there’s no U2 song that is best as the studio version. All of their best versions of every song are live performances. Plus I would say War, Unforgettable Fire, and How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb are all perfect in my eyes but I may be biased
@@grahamduff7383 U2s last listenable album was all that you can't leave behind. Any version of any song after that is even decent is live and like Pop, later versions of songs showed what they were going for. U2 is hit and miss live and as Bono ages, he's not able to hit notes that he used to. I'd agree War is great, but HTDMAAB was the first album.of their now 20 year trash period.
@@HercuLync lol that’s a very personal opinion because HTDAAB is one of the most Grammy award winning rock albums in history. Almost every song is amazing imo. I’m sorry you aren’t able to enjoy it because that album is beautiful
this is one of the 1001 videos made for this song... and is one of those videos that i have never see for ONE. And I'm not talking about 1001 reaction videos to ONE, I'm talking about all the different videos that U2 did for this song.
if I list ALL the genius, brilliant music they've done we'll be here FOREVER. This WHOLE ALBUM, Achtung Baby, is a masterpiece, one of my favourite records OF ALL TIME, and there's other stuff on it which is just as good and EVEN BETTER than this one. Love Is Blindness is my favourite, but The Fly runs a close second, and Until the End of the World, Mysterious Ways, the amazing opening track Zoo Station and Trying To Throw Your Arms Around the World are all TOP NOTCH music. From earlier in their career there's EVEN MORE greatness - All I Want Is You is, for me, the best single track they have EVER RECORDED, meanwhile the previous album to this, The Joshua Tree, is almost as good, and includes my SECOND favourite track or theirs, With Or Without You, the incomparable Where the Streets Have No Name (their VERY BEST opener), I Stuill Haven't Foung What I'm Looking For, In God's Country and the legendary Bullet the Blue Sky (ALWAYS one of their very best when they play LIVE, and BELIEVE ME, these guys are completely AMAZING live); there's also Sunday Bloody Sunday, New Year's Day, Pride (In the Name of Love), Bad, The Unforgettable Fire, MLK, I Will Follow and Angel of Harlem. Later in their career, there is also Stay (Faraway, So Close), Daddy's Gonna Pay For Youir Crashed Car (another favourite of mine), Numb, Lemon, Discotheque (another amazing opener), Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own, City of Blindinjg Lights, Beautiful Day, Hands That Built America and Vertigo. There ARE more awesome songs besides this but these are all the ones I can remember off the top of my head ... BASICALLY these guys are AMAZING and you should TOTALLY listen to more ...
Hiyah...You already have many great recommendations of such great songs to listen to already so all I'll say is get ready to experience one of the best, most influential bands of all time. They were regarded as the greatest rock band in the world for many years. The 'Edge' (lead guitarist) created a whole new sound on guitar, (the delay), where a new note could be played while the previous note kept playing until it faded away, thus creating an overlap of notes. It was such an influential sound that manufacturers began to include a method of creating that sound on their guitar pedals. Congratulations on 100k subs btw, so so well deserved.
@@BisscuteReacts He is right. That is a song that some misunderstood so much, Bono introduces it in concert with the opening short speech, "This is not a rebel song. It is Sunday Bloody Sunday." He says this because the song was based on an incident in 1970 when British soldiers shot and killed 17 Irish men and women during a peaceful protest on a Sunday, which was later called Bloody Sunday. Here is a list of other U2 songs of their youth to listen to, they are political calls for peace and also a spiritual one. I will post the spiritual song first. 1. Gloria 2. I will follow. 3. New Years Day.. the long 4 minute+ version not the 3 minute+ version. 4. Pride in the name of love. 5. With or without you. 6. Angel of Harlem
Listen to their song "with or without you" next. It will blow your mind. The "infinite guitar" effect created by their guitarist, The Edge, is legendary. Also the eighth delay effect became the Hallmark of their early music.
WAR, Under a Blood Red Sky, Joshuha Tree, Rattle and Hum, Achtung Baby have em all, they are all great albums, U2 is not a Rebal song! its a Musical Journey! U2 Bloody U2, one of the best bands ever. What you are witnessing from Prince, Elton, Queen to bands like U2 and many in-between is pure talent hard work, creatively and skill and life experience, its not manufactured in a studio by some souless music exec or label, its not perfected by vocal coaches or by computers, yes there are artists today, but this was a struggle that developed cream of the highest quality that stands and spands time itself. that's great, todays artists wont be around in 10, 20 years and if there is a UA-cam then, they wont get reactions like this.
You like live music? They are an AMAZING live band. "All I Want Is You / Where the Streets Have No Name" from Slane Castle is a great song to react to.! Also, you hit it right on the head: U2 is a unique sounding band.
For the U2 rabbit hole, these are probably the most known / popular / best songs of them: "With or without you" ( ua-cam.com/video/ujNeHIo7oTE/v-deo.html ), "I still haven't found what I'm looking for" ( ua-cam.com/video/e3-5YC_oHjE/v-deo.html ), "Pride" ( ua-cam.com/video/LHcP4MWABGY/v-deo.html )
oops, I almost forgot my favorite one: "October" ( ua-cam.com/video/xoKtxYKMTd0/v-deo.html ) a short one and maybe not reaction material but this one always calls the onion ninjas
*B* Without writing a book, this is one of those few bands where you've *LITERALLY* got 50+ *YES* 50+ songs that will blow your mind. It's SUPER HARD to pick, but I've seen them over 10 times so I will suggest 5 below. Oh , a sidenote, Look into these two records AT LEAST on your own... *The Joshua Tree* and *Achtung Baby* OK, this is so hard..... but here's 5 to consider, all completely different from each other.... 1) I still haven't found what I'm looking for 2) Beautiful Day 3) With or without you 4) Bad 5) Even better than the real thing { Bonus Track } "Running to stand still" There's a great beginning..... happy listening...... *David*
U2 were gods back in the day. Absolute top tier band!!! ⭐⭐⭐ Their "The Joshua Tree" album is probably one of the best of all time. "With or without you", "I still haven't found what I'm looking for", "Beautiful Day"... I'm going to stop listing great songs because my fingers will get tired. Maybe react to "I still haven't found what I'm looking for" next? ua-cam.com/video/e3-5YC_oHjE/v-deo.html or "Beautiful Day" ua-cam.com/video/co6WMzDOh1o/v-deo.html
How the hell do you only now listen to this song for the first time??? What?? What?? I mean..... Have you been living your all life under a rock?? U2 are one of the best band in thh world.. They make some of the most memorable live shows ever.. And "One" is one of their best songs ever
She's anyway explained that rock and metal (other songs she's reacted to on her channel) are not her style. She probably has heard some of U2's songs without knowing they were U2, but she wasn't born when this song was out and if it wasn't the genre of music you grew up listening to I can completely understand you not knowing their music. I don't think she has said she's never heard of U2, she just hasn't say down and listened to the music paying complete attention to it.
Ok, non-exhaustive list coming, if you want to focus on voice Generally live videos are best suited to reactions 1) More explosive Out of control (1st single) Sunday Bloody Sunday Bullet the blue sky (live) Gone Mofo 2) Smooth Bad All I want is you With or without you Love is blindness Stay Please Stuck in a moment you can't get out of Others in non particular order : Where the streets have no name, Pride, New year's day, Running to stand still, Even better than the real thing, Until the end of the world, Who's gonna ride your wild horses, The fly, Mysterious ways, Ultraviolet, Acrobat, Zooropa, Discotheque, Staring at the sun, Electrical storm, Kite, Walk On, Moment of surrender, song for someone I mean, there are so many gems, this is just scraping the surface, enjoy
This is my favourite band! And One is a gorgeous song =) I'm glad you found them. They're quite ecclectic, so I'm sure you will find a lot songs you'll like!
It's one of the best songs ever written. Produced by Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno, two of the best of their time. I'm always surprised by people not knowing this stuff. Maybe you know a lot of Brian Enos work, he produced a lot of Colplay songs. U2 was one of the biggest bands in the world during the end of the 80ties and all over the 90ties. One is outstanding please listen to: Sometimes you can't make it on your own, With or without you, Miss sarajewo If you want to see one ot the best live conerts of all time, you should see and hear: Elevation 2001: U2 Live from Boston Other U2 songs you should listen: Pride (ine the name of love), Sunday bloody sunday, I still haven't found, what I'm looking for, Where the streets have no name, Stay (far away so close) Staring at the sun Mysterious ways Even better than the real thing Beautiful day Elevation Vertigo
LOL, so.... U2 has some potential. Early 1981 I was trying to explain this band,U2,to my other school bandmates. they had trouble getting past the name. 41 years ago.
The more time goes by I think this is one of the best rock songs of all time, the lyrics are absolutely stunning. Fun fact the song is known to be about a son dying of AIDS failed relationship with his father. There are actually 3 videos for this song watch them all they are pure art. One of the videos was shot in Berlin in 1991
Thank you for watching the video, It means a lot to me .

The key for many u2 songs is the increasing of the rythim and emotion that the vocal and the instruments give tô from the beginning to the end
My pleasure, glad you liked this ❤
They have arguably written more great songs post Rattle and Hum than before it.
@@blackporscheroadster6415 arguably is key word here :)
Damn you’re old Gerard. Wait I was listening to U2 live in red rocks as I high school senior so I guess maybe I’m old too. Damnit
@@davidtaylor857 yes yes. But better: still rocking at 55 haha.
A very special band. They’re unlike anyone else, if you fall in love with them, their music will always be with you.
wow, youre right!! i think the same way
How could u have never heard a U2 song? This is a band that’s been together since the 70’s and one of the most successful bands ever
Next I'll be playing a song by some band called The Beatles.
It is not a stretch to say that for about a 20 year period U2 was the biggest band in the world... and still impactful for the decade or so after. Their discography is packed with top hits and Grammy awards.
Wow, Crazy ❤
i concur
yeah its amazing how people under 25 nowadays dont know much about them but even 10 years ago every adult knew who Bono and U2 were.
"in the world" - you mean a world without bruce springsteen & the e street band for sure... u2 never was the biggest band in the world.
U2 is my favorite rock group of all time. You need to react to their pre-Achtung Baby songs like With Or Without You, New Year’s Day, All I Want Is You, Pride (In The Name Of Love), Where The Streets Have No Name & Sunday Bloody Sunday to hear how Bono’s vocals matured over the years
1987 to 2023 and beyond, still the biggest band on earth
One of the best bands in Rock history. If this song doesn't make you feel, nothing will.
U2 is the only band I have seen twice in concert, the soundtrack of my youth.
U2 is the best band of the last 40 years and the biggest live band of the last 35 years.
U2 is definitely an influential band, one of my favorites. Edge(The Guitarist 🎸) is a big influence to me as a Guitarist 👌🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵 He used a Delay effect quite well for various songs. Love to play "Desire" on the guitar
Check out the songs "Wire", "Desire", "I Will Follow", "Pride(In the name of Love)", "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For", "Even Better Than The Real Thing", "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me", "Bad", "Discotheque", "All I Want Is You", "A Sort Of Homecoming", "The Sweetest Thing", "Elevation"
Noted thanks ❤
Same here. In fact the first guitar I built was a Music Rising tribute that was inspired by the one The Edge has.
Been to a concert last year, first time.
When they played the songs from my younger years I really started crying.
As being a man in his (late) fifties
U2 are a pillar of pop/rock music.
Best band everrr!!! And best live band everrr!!!
This song has two of my favorite song lyrics of all time: "I can't be holding on when all you got is hurt" and "We GET to carry each other"
Something tells me you have listened to the audiobook.
Have you come here to play Jesus to the lepers in your head?
U2 were one of the most formative bands of the 80's and 90's.
I see, ty ❤
My favorite song from them is "With or Without you". Definitely worth listening to!
Pah, ah ripoff of Pachebel's Cannon in d.
Agree. Me too.
A masterpiece
Hauntingly romantic. One of my favourite songs.
U2 are my favourite band; they have so many incredible songs!
They are great ❤️
U2 had many really good songs and yes Bono's voice is fantastic.
Oh? noted ❤
One of the most beautiful songs written and performed ever…
Yes!
Hopefully more in the future ❤
Bon Jovi have about 10% of the substance and ability of U2
U2 is perfect ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi :) Knowing that you liked Bono's voice in this one.. I recommend Where the Streets Have no Name - Live at Slane Castle... or With or Without You.. from the same concert. Amazing and have more energy, you may be looking for :)
Noted, thanks ❤
Love your reaction! If you want to hear more of the dynamic sound of U2 in 1 video I highly recommend you to review the live version of "October/Bullet The Blue Sky" live from Paris 2015. It starts off with the very intimate intro of October, with just Bono singing over piano, before bursting into the raw and hard rocking guitars and drums of "Bullet The Blue Sky". You're in for a treat and I'm sure U2 will become a returning featured band on your channel just like Rammstein (I love both bands 😍)
Thank you, noted ❤
@@BisscuteReacts Yes please review the live performance mentioned as it is totally stunning and gives you a taste of how great their shows are, you will not be disappointed here is a link to it ua-cam.com/video/XIVUfSJGam4/v-deo.html
Agreed. Bullet the Blue Sky will get your blood pumping for sure.
Try bullet without bono on the bull horn
Literally the two bands that influenced me the most U2 and recently R+
The Live Aid concert greatest performances were by Queen, we know you already love it, and U2. Queen was showing how great they were and U2 showing how great they would become. Definitely recommend you watch the U2 Live Aid performance. Always like your reactions.
Such a great sound. I am glad you have discovered it.
Need to explore more of their music .. they are the greatest Rock Band of their era .. one of their rock greats is “New Years Day’ or “where the streets have no name’ .. Basically they have so many hits I’m surprised you haven’t heard them .. I’m sure some of their music would recognisable to you 💚😀
I see, hopefully more in the future ❤
Wonderful review, Bisscute. You described Bono's vocal qualities very well. Especially since English is not your first language. I'm going to watch many more of your videos.
Thank you so much ❤
Another fantastic reaction! I haven't listened to U2 in a long long time, so thanks for reminding me just how good they can be.
So good!
A great choice for your first U2 track. My favourite, it shows Bono’s voice off perfectly and this song struck a chord with my life when it came out. I’m over 50 now and it still brings back intense memories of a love lost.
U2 is one of the bands that are live even better than in studio. So check them out live. Any song will do, because every song of them is awesome !!
Thanks, hopefully more in the future ❤
That song is a classic of music and U2 one of the best bands of all time...
U2 wrote a lot of very 'rocky' songs like Hawkmoon 269, Desire, God Part 2 and in their earlier stuff on songs like Wire and Refugee and Like A Song.
The Smashing Pumpkins had several good songs and an interesting sound but they are not even in the same league as U2 in terms of talent, songwriting, live performance, production and vocals/guitar abilities.
I can't tell you how much I am looking forward to your journey, if you so decide to, discovering more from this wee gem of a band.
xoxo
Im excited to discover more from them ❤
U2 es de esos grupos que tienen una música con sentido, transmiten la canción de tal manera que uno se siente relax!.
Totalmente de acuerdo, U2 siempre eleva mis ánimos, que gran banda la verdad
Love your reaction! U2 had a lot of great songs like this ("One"). "I will follow", "Red Hill Minning Town", "New Year's Day" and "Walk On" are my favorites.
I see, ty ❤️
I love this song so much. That album Achtung Baby (1991) is a masterpiece, I love it too, it saw the band experiment with different sound textures thanks to Brian Eno's influence on the band from previous albums. It reached its peak in Zooropa (1993). This song have two different video versions.
¿3? ¿No?...this, the "cars" versión...and the most beautiful: the buffalos versión.
Hope you liked the reaction ❤

U2 With or Without You.
Never fails to give me chills. The band that is the love of my life
I love your reaction! I grew up listening to this band and they are really great with a lot of iconic songs. Based on what your looking for songwise, I'd recommend Sunday Bloody Sunday live at red rocks, Even better than the real thing, Elevation or Vertigo. Hope this helps!
thank you, glad you love them. ❤
You should check out U2’s performance of the song “Bad” at Live Aid, 1985. Bono jumps offstage and dances with the audience! 🎉❤
U2 has 3 albums that I would consider masterpieces: Achtung Baby, Joshua Tree, and All That You Can’t Leave Behind.
@@grahamduff7383 Grammys mean nothing.
Even though U2 was at its finest in the 90s, modern U2 (songs of innocence) is very very good
The Joshua Tree is probably their best album , in my view .
👍
this is one of the 1001 videos made for this song... and is one of those videos that i have never see for ONE. And I'm not talking about 1001 reaction videos to ONE, I'm talking about all the different videos that U2 did for this song.
Bono is a living legend. I can’t wait to see you react to a lot of their songs. Pride in the Name of Love would be my suggestion
Noted, ty ❤
New Year’s Day was the first song of there’s I heard and I have been a fan ever since, watch the video .
Try the live version of U2's, "Every Breaking Wave" from the 2014 EMA's....Fantastic, raw performance.....Love your reaction by the way!
60s,70s,80,s & 90,s the best music in history
if I list ALL the genius, brilliant music they've done we'll be here FOREVER.
Noted, Thanks ❤
Hiyah...You already have many great recommendations of such great songs to listen to already so all I'll say is get ready to experience one of the best, most influential bands of all time. They were regarded as the greatest rock band in the world for many years. The 'Edge' (lead guitarist) created a whole new sound on guitar, (the delay), where a new note could be played while the previous note kept playing until it faded away, thus creating an overlap of notes. It was such an influential sound that manufacturers began to include a method of creating that sound on their guitar pedals. Congratulations on 100k subs btw, so so well deserved.
Thank you so much ❤
Watch the movie Rattle and Hum. U2 rocked North America with that tour.
Maybe someday ❤
The "one" song that started my U2 obsession. Still my favorite U2 song to this day. Also a fantastic album. I still wanna be Bono when I grow up.
You should absolutely do more U2. I recommend "Sunday Bloody Sunday". Look up the meaning after you hear it too.
hopefully more in the future ❤
@@BisscuteReacts
He is right.
1. Gloria
2. I will follow.
3. New Years Day.. the long 4 minute+ version not the 3 minute+ version.
4. Pride in the name of love.
5. With or without you.
6. Angel of Harlem
The lyrics in this song are an absolute gut punch.
Listen to their song "with or without you" next. It will blow your mind. The "infinite guitar" effect created by their guitarist, The Edge, is legendary. Also the eighth delay effect became the Hallmark of their early music.
Oh? ill note that down, thanks ❤
I watched your "with or without you" video and loved it. Great job! 😊
Thanks, ill note those down for future reactions ❤
Streets live from Slane for sure.
"I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" may be there best song.

1) I still haven't found what I'm looking for
2) Beautiful Day
3) With or without you
4) Bad
5) Even better than the real thing

She's anyway explained that rock and metal (other songs she's reacted to on her channel) are not her style. She probably has heard some of U2's songs without knowing they were U2, but she wasn't born when this song was out and if it wasn't the genre of music you grew up listening to I can completely understand you not knowing their music. I don't think she has said she's never heard of U2, she just hasn't say down and listened to the music paying complete attention to it.

Generally live videos are best suited to reactions
1) More explosive
Out of control (1st single)
Sunday Bloody Sunday
Bullet the blue sky (live)

Mofo
2) Smooth
Bad
All I want is you
With or without you
Love is blindness
Stay

Stuck in a moment you can't get out of
Others in non particular order :
Where the streets have no name, Pride, New year's day, Running to stand still, Even better than the real thing, Until the end of the world, Who's gonna ride your wild horses, The fly, Mysterious ways, Ultraviolet, Acrobat, Zooropa, Discotheque, Staring at the sun, Electrical storm, Kite, Walk On, Moment of surrender, song for someone
I mean, there are so many gems, this is just scraping the surface, enjoy

One of the videos was shot in Berlin in 1991
If you like their vibe you'll never run out of great songs to react to.... Great band live shows and for crowd control also
