I have and and surprised how great it writes as a super creative fine nib. Has not dried out put the cap on the clip. You are right ridiculous design , I am enjoying it and might get a couple more for the cheap price
Same here. Yes, the design is odd but I looked on it as a fun pen. I suspect that if I lost the plastic cap, something like the back end of an empty cartridge might suffice.
Hello there sir! I really miss your content. I hope all is well with you. You were 1 of only a handful of pen channels I trusted the opinion of. Hoping you’re well and will come back soon! Thanks :-)
Well stated review. You found potential redemption in converting the pen to a ballpoint. As the nib is a nice writer, one wonders how it might be redeemed!
follow many fp posters but really miss you: please don’t give up, you still have something to contribute (retired math teacher - if I thought you didn’t have something to offer I wouldn’t keep encouraging you to post: please post!:)
I imagine getting some odd looks in a business meeting taking a condom off my pen.. “what? I lost my retractable fountain pen’s cap! This is easier than clingfilm”
We miss you; I miss you: you are my source of all knowledge!: please start posting again: I am the most discriminating of all audiences (retired maths teacher - if I like you, everyone likes you - please post more videos:)
please start to post: I miss you and your content - try Sailor black(best black, love that it produces fine lines which don’t get fatter and it has nice sheen - review this, please:)
are you still in the land of the living?: come on!: post a vid please: have put up with a bunch of reviewers who aren’t you for ages, surely you’ve completed your move and are ready to post: for the purposes of clarity, nobody does it like you (this is a retired maths teacher of 15yrs in the toughest Glasgow secondary schools speaking: believe you me, if you were sh*t, I’d tell you: you, by a very wide margin imho, are by far the best fp/inks/accessories reviewer out there: forget hrh sbre brown and figboot, for the love of God, please post something to tell me you’re still functioning (nobody does it better: they should learn from you; btw, if your move’s causing you problems, there are companies (in the UK, I would recommend ‘all about the move’, who specialise in getting you up and running and have a bunch of skilled trades people that can make that happen practically overnight: please start posting: I miss you!:)
Try the Lanbitou Curidas copy. Mine dries out faster than this one. And as for the cap, post it on the clip as another reviewer has done. It isn't exactly optimum, but this one and the Curidas copy aren't exactly fine writing instruments, are they? 😉
Aloha Alan! Wow, never heard of this pen before seeing your review. Another issue if you don't cap the pen is the chance that ink will seep out of the pen since the clip is in the normal location and meant for the nib to be facing down in your pocket. Even with the nib fully retracted, there's still a chance that any fibers, fabric, etc .... will just wick the ink away from the nib! Also a danger with any rollerball pen - I am saying that from experience! Hau'oli Makahiki Hou! Thomas
Another flaw with it is that the ink could leak out of the nib while in your pocket, although that could reduce the dry out problem. The reason the Curidas, Vanishing Point, Dialog, A1 have the clip on the nib end is to reduce/prevent potential leaking.

Not giving up. Just been very busy of late. I'll get back to it.
Thanks very much!
@@WhatIInk so pleased to hear that: imho, you post vid’s that appeal to me most - other posters should be learning from you!:)
I watched another review that suggested inserting the cap at the clip.
When you revealed the plastic cap, I couldn't stop laughing!
A retractable I can afford
Well thankfully you came up with a good solution, meaning that you haven’t done your $5 bucks. Happy new year- have a great 2023.

The odd thing is Lanbitou managed to copy the Curidas with an opening/closing "doorway" for the nib.
Literally git a rubber nipple to place over, cut a slit. Bam, there you go. Not perfect as it could squeegee some ink but it blocks most air.
Another flaw with it is that the ink could leak out of the nib while in your pocket, although that could reduce the dry out problem. The reason the Curidas, Vanishing Point, Dialog, A1 have the clip on the nib end is to reduce/prevent potential leaking.
I've seen these for sale for about $1 and was wondering how the nib stays wet. Oops!
The real question….Does It Post? 😆
I had this, it broke. Yay.
