Magpul MOE K2-XL Grip Unboxing and Install

The Magpul MOE K2-XL grip has a more vertical grip angle, and is taller and thicker than standard MOE grips. In addition to getting a more solid foundation for flat and stabile trigger pulls, I purchased this grip with the intent to lessen wrist pinching when the rifle is rolled over for offset iron shots. In this video I unbox and install the K2-XL on my PSA PA-15 rifle. I purchased it directly from Magpul at the link below:

I finally decided to get an XL.
For context, all of my lowers have the K2 for commonality. After dipping my toe into PRS, I now see the benefits of a fatter grip.
This K2 XL is really great. I need to order 5 more.

I had the same reaction when I saw the bottle. My stock has a four slot CR123A battery holder and 4 QD points, so I have no need for anything but the oil. All set now. Also noticed with the upright position of the hand now that my trigger pull is much more controlled.

I would say the k2 xl is for CQB weapons with a short length of pull to relieve stress on the wrist. Also gives a more PRS style grip on long precision style rifles

I ordered the MOE K2. Hopefully it’s steep enough. My hands aren’t huge, so I didn’t think I needed the XL. I just want a steeper grip angle for comfort. Shall see!

How tight was the fitment? I just bought it yesterday and tried to put it on but couldn't even get it to start

It was pretty damn tight but I was able to get it on without much trouble
