“Aisle three!” “So go pee!” While not one of my favorite episodes, the husband calling and hardware store scene with Tim’s hearing problem were the best parts.
I just noticed something. A slip up on the show part. when she yells at him on tool time, she's yelling into his right ear, but when he's at the hardware store, he's leaning into listen with his left as if that's the ear he can't hear out of.
Love the Monty Python segue as the introduction to this segment! And you gotta feel sorry for that poor camera guy-even holding the headset away, you can tell he’s in agony!
@@jasonogas8712 Is there anybody claiming all men are like him? If not, this isn't sexism. But I tell you what is sexist. If he and his wife would the same work, he would earn more and would be in charge of the money she earns, too. Her only domain is the household.
Women have gotten upset at men for far less then that. In this day and age, there are a lot more Women CEO's and stay at home fathers then ever before, plus the Mid-20th century ended over 50 years ago. As far as Jill Taylor is concerned, you can tell that she has issues with men due to her relationship with her father, if you watch closely enough Case in point, she chose not to marry her equal because she wanted to use someone like Tim as a punching bag. She also has asserted herself as the Alpha in their marriage, while criticizing and mocking his interests as some kind knuckle dragger, yet she also has double standard(s) on issues that tend to give flexibility to women and not men. She's also aspiring to become a psychologist not for the sake of helping others, but in order to gain control, maintain and dictate what others do, especially MEN! This behavior is rooted from her relationship she had growing up as an Army brat with a father who tried several times and failed to have sons. Deep down inside, Jill is probably aware that there are better ways to deal with her issues, but none of them are as gratifying as subtlety man bashing men with her friends at every turn and pushing around her husband, Tim. This wonderful woman came through line at work today and I striked up a convo with her and she told me to look this up. You’re a TREASURE Deb!
I remembered what episode came on before this one, so you KNOW I was pumped after it was over!
Tim's face is absolutely priceless. LOL.
If this was not a family show you know there would be some cussing to go along with that husband hollering
true

Sounds like how my mom used to call me and my brother for dinner.
Hey your right Al does looks like Barney Rubble.
“Yeah, you’re right! Al does look like Barney Rubble!”
😆
You missed the part where tim calls AL as practice for the assistant calling contest.
Hardware stores usually keep inventory on nails and screws by weighing them.
I don't think Al knew that trick.

That's the only ear he can hear at all in. The right is completely deaf and the right is weak so still has to strain to hear anything.
Later in the episode
