It's very sad and unfortunate that someone felt the need to replace Alexandra Krosney! Alexandra is the one out of all the gals that looks like she can really pass as being Nancy Travis's real daughter. Alexandra and Molly Ephraim also came off more believable as being sisters too! It was great casting and chemistry in my humble opinion. What were those creative differences, really? I really do believe she was wrongfully fired because she made a tweet on May 23rd, 2012, saying how she was looking forward to begin filming season 2 and about three weeks later, the news came out about her being let go. If she got along with everyone, loved what she was doing, I don't see any reasoning for replacing her with Amanda. I really wish Alexandra was able to stay on and I would have loved to see the show follow through with Kristin continuing working toward getting her MD license and becoming a very successful Doctor on the show. Also, it would have been really great if Mike Rowe made at least 4 episodes per season for more hilarious brotherly shenanigans with Tim's character Mike. Casting Mike Rowe as Tim's television brother was perfect because they look enough a like that they can really pas as being real brothers. Amanda Fuller would have been a great choice to play Mike and Vanessa's niece that moved in with them for season two if someone would have thought of it and Alexandra stayed. Maybe, Playing the daughter of Mike Rowe's character, Jim. Mike and Vanessa could have treated her like she was their own and the girls could have treated her just like a sister. I think Mackenzie Philips from One Day At A Time would have been a great choice to play her mother due to the slight resemblance. Carla Jimenez was also really great as Blanca and I wish they would have kept her to because she was a great addition to the show. It would have been funny if there was an episode where Mandy was selling her clothing line on QVC and a hilarious mishaps occurred, like her freezing up on camera or something.
Too many people fail to realize how breath-takingly gorgeous Ms. Krosney is. She is a goddess and has quite the mind, too. They should have named her 'Jade'.

I loved Molly Ephraim, but I actually think Molly McCook fits better with the family in terms of looks. Ephraim kind of looked like Vanessa cheated on Mike 🤷♀️
