You know "Kirov reporting" is #1 because whenever a player hears that, they immediately go and spam build some AA vehicles/turrets. No other announcement has this kind of immediate effect on the player.

I used the kirovs exclusively in the last YR missions. Once they were farmed to become Elite, they were a powerful force over all the buildings in the city.
I remember back in high school I was having trouble with organic chemistry and then my brother explained it to me, without controlling myself I just blurted out "New construction options", he knew where it was from and we laughed for a while. good times

A demoralizing things to do with Kirovs is having multiple war factories so it produces the Kirovs even faster, then hearing "Kirov Reporting" over and over again within a few seconds of one another adds to that element of concern. Best done after building some tanks in quiet, since after hearing that it will be anti-air that they build a ton of.
