Excellent build of one of my favourite Viggen schemes, second only to the all over RED Viggen of the F10 Wing, i.e 'The Show Must Go On'.. :) I wanted to build a SF-37 Viggen for the group build, but in splinter camo. I don't think I will have the time though, so thank you again for building one.. at least we now have a beautiful Viggen in the group, thanks to you! Well done! By the way, many SF-37 or AJSF-37 Viggens did carry missiles for self defence and various recon pods.. it is a shame the kit doesn't supply any. but most of the pods are available as fairly inexpensive resin after market sets.. :)
Make sure you keep us updated on the M90 splinter camouflage one! Are you going to do the full nose wrap around version or the black nose? Is it also a recon? I can not wait!
It's gonna be the JA-37 Jaktviggen with a black nose! That kit is quite old and not as detailed but I'm sure it will look nice when I finish it in a couple of years 😁
what a great build , I have never seen this paintjob but it is so beautiful -one of my favourite planes . Love your work , in the later years I am drawn to What If ? and Ace Combat style jets your style very much appeals to me . Wales UK. ( Have you seen the Gripen with the new 3 grey splinter camo ?)
Thanks a lot for your feedback Fred! Yes, I have seen the splinter Gripen, looks way better than the standard grey. If you like splinter camo you might also like my 1/144th scale Arctic Aggressor F-16 and my fictional Su-47 Berkut 😉
Hi I have the same hataka paint set as you and I had problems with tip drying when airbrushing did you thin this paint and did you have any problems airbrushing it
Ich schätze mal du sprichst Deutsch. Super gutes Video und ein sehr schönes Gesamtergebnis. Ich hatte die Frage wie sie Die Revell Aaqua colors mischen, denn als ich dies mit Wasser versucht habe kam die Farbe nur sehr schlecht und manchmal zu wässrig raus und dass Ergebnis war somit immer schlecht, außerdem war es eine Qual danach die Air brush zu waschen.
Gut erkannt 😉 Die Revell Aqua color Farben würde ich prinzipiell nicht zum Airbrushen empfehlen! Jeder Topf hat eine andere Konsistenz also muss man genau wissen wie man sie verdünnt

I think I added a few drops of water to thin it. It was also drying a bit on the nozzle but I just used a cotton bud to wipe it off the nozzle!
