Many missunderstandings and misstakes here. The guns never protrude so far out from the gun openings. The wing had rectangular scotch taped panels covering the White friend or foe numbers and had therefore different shine color even covering part of the yellow number 66. Also the nose radome looks like so bad having a step on topwhere attached to fuselage. And why the hell is the radar warning fintop only used by Denmark and later Austria bought them and mounted on a Swedish Draken?
I agree... could you buikd one and point the mistakes? I really woukd want someone to help me with is knoledge on this to help me improve! Thank you so much!
Nice build, and your right showing faded paint, heavy scratches and just showing the age of this jet that was in service for five decades. That’s a testament to Saab engineering. I think you’ve done this old girl proud. Well done.
When I was a small kid I saw the Draken as a new fighter in an "I Spy" book of war planes and was staggered (even at my very young age) at the amount of weaponry it carried compared with other fighters of the time. Together with it's lines It became and still is one of my favourite warplanes, right up there with the Phantom and English Electric Lightning. A superbly "well used" creation Alex. Thank you.
Wow. Love how the Air-Intake blends into the Wing. Giving a Double Delta design look to the Wing. Hats Off to the Swedes who were building such Forward Looking Designs in the 1950s.
Absolutely excellent rendering of a very good kit Alex. The advanced and improvised(?) weathering techniques worked out wonderfully. It really looks like the genuine article. There were even parts of the video where I became curious about your choices but, in the end, you rendered what you intended. Awesome job and I'm looking forward to seeing more. In fact, I just queued up your vid on a 1/72 scale MiG-15 since I like that scale too. Thanks very much for sharing your work with us Alex. Especially since this aircraft has been one of my favorites since I was a boy just starting in modelling. That was over 50 years ago.So nice to see that the hobby survives and advances with efforts like yours.
Alex, fine job on this Draken! As a former USAF E5 technician, I can appreciate the used and abused suite of weathering effects you used on this aircraft. I am just finishing the Tarangus Viggen (which has/had some major fit issues by the way) and am looking forward to representing the thrust reverser stains on the fuselage. Bravo on the build sir!
I know it's a old video but still, great build Alex, we had the Draken in RDAF, the sister plane Viggen was also a beautiful plane. Keep up the good work as always, greetings from 🇩🇰
Stéphane DAVID Thank you SO SO much for your words... i am always upset each time i have to re upload a video.. your words made me feel a bit more easy on this!
I like the colours you used for the camouflage... Tamiya XF-58 for the green but missed what you used for the grey. Could you let me know as I think it looks awesome. Thanks
Formidable, como siempre, estimado Alex. En otras palabras F A B U L O S O. Un sincero saludo , esperando ver otra clase magistral de modelismo. Abrazos desde Madrid Alex.
Hay Alex!!! Long time no see. But Ive been lurking around, hope all is well with you. This was still a great build. Amazing detail. A blast from the past.
The aircraft is called Saab Ja35 = Hunting and attack The dragon and comes from F10 Angelholm Flight Fleet This aircraft has the end of the 50's and the beginning of the 60's the aircraft was the most in Sweden but I think that in war it also is a precursor to Saab JA 37 Viggen
Very nice built. Personally I tend to use drybrushing a lot when doing weathering, but then again I am more into figure painting then machines. Any chance you would do the F8 Crusader in the future, she is an old time favorite of mine :)
Please use a light blue background! The detail is lost in the white. By the way I also love dragen! If you like very worn look on jets GREEK AIRFORCE is the best.
Are you aware that the money you spend on the tamiya weathering master, you could have went down to your local beauty supply store and picked up some eye shadow for about half what you spent on the Tamiya, rebranded eye shadow for. Chemical testing I did prove it is exactly the same stuff, just rebranded and marked up because it is for modeling.
You will be pleasantly surprised too because the variety of colors you can get in these eyeshadows goes way beyond what you can find in model branded kits. One note of caution however, some brands of shadow can have adverse effects with some paints. So either testing is always a good idea, even if you intend on sealing first. I have found the hypo allergenic products are not a problem and can be applied directly without sealing first but I am sure I dont have to tell you to test first...;)
AlexModeling just kidding you did a fine job. Inspires me to actually complete some kits. Seems I start then stop then restart then shiny object and stop again to start a different kit. Keep posting! ;-)

Excellent modelling and skillful execution of this kit, sorry for any critique.

I just came across this build and really enjoyed watching it. Nice paint job and weathering......great job, Alex.

Beautiful work on a beautiful aircraft....my favourite jet from the old country! 👍👌👏😍❤️
Maybe a splinter camouflaged Viggen in the future? 😉👍
I already have the kit AND the masks for it! ehehehehe
Awesome!
I'm looking forward to seeing you tackle the camouflage! 👍🤘👊😎
Very carefully!!😂😂😂 probably is one of the most hard things to do on modeling! After rigging a xv century caravelle
Definitely my friend....if you feel like testing your nerves, patience....this the way to do it, but....when finished! 😉😲😍❤️
Wow!...that look really cool, "excellent!".
thanks!
AWESOME JOB! I am learning and ready to buy the AK Extreme metal paints. Do you still use them as your go to metal finishes?
A very nice build 👏
Thank you!
Hay Alex!!! Long time no see. But Ive been lurking around, hope all is well with you. This was still a great build. Amazing detail. A blast from the past.
Hey Ron! Whats up Mate? Hope all is well with you! Cheers!
Same ol around here. Rains been killing us here in the U.S.(Florida) but its typical for this time of year.

Looks great
Yeah, I also am a lover of the Draken and the Viggen. Hopefully we will see you do a Viggen if you can get the kit?? Anyway, nice build!!
I have the Viggen already! :D
How do you like the AK metal paints... compared to Alclad or Gunze? Are they lacquer or water based?
One thing is for sure... doesn t matter how other companies work... nithing replaces Alclad... apart from that i like very much AK metal paints
Very nice built. Personally I tend to use drybrushing a lot when doing weathering, but then again I am more into figure painting then machines. Any chance you would do the F8 Crusader in the future, she is an old time favorite of mine :)
Actualy i have the Academy one and always end looking at it! One of these days i sure will!
Outstanding As Always
My Friend. ...... ;)
Thank you!
No apology needed it didn't annoy me at all... was just curious. Was it music? You do a great job every time keep up the great work.
Yes... some musics were tageted... sorry for that
It's too bad we can't use popular music as you can really add life and set a mood better than what they offer for free... oh well.
Please use a light blue background! The detail is lost in the white.
By the way I also love dragen!
If you like very worn look on jets GREEK AIRFORCE is the best.
Ok! And thank you for the light blue recomendation! I will!
Brilliant 😃👍
Thank you!
Why do you have to reload these. Was there a copy right issue?
Exactly... its in the description below of most vídeos... im sorry if that anoied you... me also.. thanks!
Nice one Alex 👍
Thank you!
Si. Normalmente no reagira con el
Just a comment for the algorithm

Никогда не понимал тех, кто делает прешейдинг, а потом его полностью сплошным слоем закрашивает.
Don't want all the music

Nop! But thanks cause when these are through... its exactly what im going to use! Thanks!
