I like how you fellas understand that you’re not living in your rigs so you spend good money on the stuff you use often ( like lights and stereo) and you made do with the stuff you already have going in the back. No need to spend $10k on mods. You’re showing everyone how you don’t need a mortgage to go away for the weekend. Keep up the great work 👍🏻
Id love a decked out dual cab with a tricked out canopy but my 9k paj has got me everywhere I've wanted to go in comfort, love watching you guys with normal builds, normal problems, not sponsored 100k rigs where you get your parts flown into the next town
Yeah these blokes are doing stuff on the real person price level not as you stated like other YT channels that make you think you need a bank vault to afford stuff or sponsored free stuff that we cannot get.
Agreed.. These young blokes are the real deal and it’s my favourite 4X4 channel. I for one have had enough of the bullsh*t channels that do mindless and unrealistic big $$$ wankmaster builds
Stoked to have found your channel today. Its great to see a real budget rig, something that everyday people can build and then go have some fun!!! One Life, One Search, Peace Out, Shane
Good work on the build. Not sure if you know but you can use the battery tray from a petrol 80 series for your second battery, they bolt up on factory holes on the drivers side of the engine bay. Super simple and not that dear to buy direct from Toyota.
Looks great!!! Consider moving light bar below bullbar hoop as to be compliant. I hope you had a great trip to snowy river. It's been on our list of places to visit for a while now.
Coming along now man. Your trip will be awesome! I live on the nsw side of the snowies and wouldn't live anywhere else. The high country is a special place.🤙
Strip lighting on tailgate would've it not been better at the top, closer to the front of the vehicle, so you don't end up working in your shadow at the back of the car?
Good work guys. Giving the cocky loud-mouthed big budget track destroyers a run for there money. You all remind me of myself and my mates at that age. No matter where this channel takes you keep it real for the average guy.
Pajero to LC. Even without any mods is a huge step up in all round comfort and off-road ability. IMO you should put the parking/indicator lights in the front of the bullbar. Actually surprised it wasn't picked as a roadworthy item. Be careful that people can see your factory front indicators. Just my 2 cents worth. I like the build.
@@dustyfarmer Yes i know. I'm from Victoria. The cut outs are there for a reason. Just like they are if you fit a rear bar. Yes, the stupidity of Australia is different laws for different states but ADR's covering indicators mean they must be at the very front of a vehicle without anything obstructing their view (including at an angle). If you don't believe me, then go and look it up. Personally, I couldn't give a shit what people do. I only made the point to try and be helpful because knowing what pricks insurance companies are, they will use any excuse not to pay out on a claim and that could be all they need. And no, it won't matter if it just passed a RWC or not !!
Been waiting on this hey I just bought my first 4wby and need cheap mods without breaking the bank.. Are you going to re spray it would he a sick look for the 80
Great videos guys!! Inspired me...... How do you find the 4inchbspeaker with sub? I also don't want to chop up door cards etc and have been considering the 4 and sub combo
That's what I'm getting for mine soon, I've been looking at all the different types and brands for over 12 months now and the JTX 4x6 custom LED with white/yellow Halo, seems to be the better choice with price and quality and they are ADR approved which is a BIG plus to me.. I've got shitty HID's in mine now that the previous bloke had and still a candle is brighter.. haha..
@@TimsBitsnPieces There are NO aftermarket L.E.D conversion headlight globes that are A.D.R approved. If your vehicle didn't come out with with L.E.D headlights the headlight reflectors are not suited to them, L.E.D headlight conversions are poxed on for oncoming drivers at night. Why run the risk of a a defect notice, voiding your insurance & melting your reflectors. I looked into the A.D.R headlight upgrade issues extensively when I wanted to fit projector headlight conversions to my Landcruiser.
@@dustyfarmer Go and have a look at the JTX website and I have talked to the owner re this exact thing. They ARE in fact ADR approved and it is a whole sealed unit. Not a filament or globe install. I have done a lot of research over the past 12 months about this.
@@TimsBitsnPieces If they are a whole sealed unit then maybe they did the engineering & testing to get approval. BUT!... They would still need to be mod plated by a certified engineer approved to do A.D.R mods to be road legal in each & every vehicle they were fitted to. All the people I approached including STEDI who were peddling these so called A.D.R approved L.E.D headlights or L.E.D bulbs were not A.D.R approved at all. I'll follow up on this JTX & get back to you ASAP.
It's honestly a pleasure to watch your videos boys. You're not cocky, and you work hard to get what you have. Keep it up.
Thanks Chris, really appreciate the kind words , it means alot to us, cheers :)
Most underrated channel on youtube. Great video

Good to see such positive young blokes having a crack and doing what they love. Keep it up fellas!
Was thinking that exactly myself when watching it.
What a glorious build. I love the way you blokes do it all yourselves and learn as you go.
Nice work. Better than $80k stock 79 series.
Good stuff guys. Keep it simple, but move your battery to the back of the wagon and your sub as they might get wet down the track somewhere.
Looks like a proper 80 now with the roof racks!! Living the dream fellas, that thing will take you anywhere!! Good on ya 🤙
Wow.. you mean I don't need to spend $100k on mods ?? Watching most other 4WD YT channels you would think so ..
Good job guys !

I hope you have a wonderful trip on your adventures buddy...

The 80 is looking good
Hey guys love the vid the 80 looks sick. had a little chuckle when you said bonnet protector 🤣
Another great video boys, and good to see you both have boots on while working in the shed and not flip-flops!

@@sloth_e I think it is referring to ‘thongs’ 👍
What's happening with the pajero? Shame to see it it go, it's the reason I started watching your videos.
Mateeee im just about to go from a pajero to a 80 series too. Shame to loose the luxury but oh so keen to gain the 4wd ability
Loving the 80 mate!
I enjoyed watching the roof rack transfer way more than I probably should haha. Love your vides - subbed
2inch lift with 35's and twin E lockers and it's a beast. Most people like air lockers idk why :/
Hope I see you boys down this way if you pass through bairnsdale.

Why a bonnet protector when the paint is that bad anyway?
A Storage Barrier might help maximise the boot space

When is the restoration coming? New paint ? Etc
Nice work bro
Do you plan on leaving it earthed to the seat bolt?
Awesome Rig
What about diff breathers.
Looking forward to seeing your smile when you get on the track. Your jaw will be hurting for weeks. 😁👏👏
That's the go boys! Keep it simple👌 keeps the character, up it 80!
Can you review the Supernova driving lights? Cheers.
it's on the way!
Is the Pajero on the market to fund the 80 build? Nice work keep it up
Is it a TJM bullbar guys ?
Have you thought about getting led headlights? I just got JTX lights. They are amazing definitely worth the money

Do a 3 inch exhaust upgrade video
keep it up bois
A cheap mod for the uhf mike lead is to buy a good quality guitar lead. Or at least it was a good mod thirty years ago lol.
Great spot for that sticker hahah
Sick vid, did you run the ground back to the main battery or just earth it in the back somewhere?
One of the best vids on your channe l
I want to do the same thing from my pajero great work
Thanks Tim!
Love yah vids guys keep it up
The ol 80 is looking the goods now Patrick, not too sure about Liam's welding but paint hide's a million sins.
😂 thats it mate!
Great video! What editing software are you using? Love how you can put the labels etc on the videos like at @0:47
Nate Reuss I wish you'd re-form Fun. I miss that band.
Jokes aside, great vid mate, I just found your channel and am jelly you got an 80 series!
What type of roof rack is it. Screw in or connects to the top of door frame?
...is there something over my left shoulder? You keep looking there.
love it
Come on @GME _Australia, come to the party for the lads and help them out 👍🏻
How’s a paj roof rack fit on an 80?
i was just at snowy river for a school camp lmao
Where are you fellas from in Victoria anyway i from Drouin
Love an 80 series but the Turbo Diesel can't be bought below $30k any more, not too low of a budget haha
What sub do u have?
hey mate doubt u will see this but would u happen to have links to the speakers and sub
Snorkel, diff & tranny breathers, oil catch can, secondary fuel filter system?
So u put the sub on the floor??
Rip the sub when u go through a deep bog hole
surely the paj stays as a weekend bush basher or something
Come here to watch some ads, but there was a video in the way
Sweet rig are you gonna put a snorkel on the 80 soon?
Please don't wreck it by raptor coating it
When the ads run longer than the fuckin video
Raptor coat it!
The paj was a budget 4x4..
4th
Look at patrol freak and his tiktoks
So u have other ideas with the pajero
#cutfenders #37s
Hectic
Please look at the lenses in the camera, not at the display to see yourself! lol
The 4 inch speakers sounds like poop. The 6.5 inch speakers are far better.
🍺🇦🇺👍❤❤
