    My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. Thanks to the author of the channel for this interesting video! Good luck to everyone who studies a foreign language and wants to realize their full potential!

    I really like it that you read the sentence twice in Persian and wait a little before you translate into English. I try to translate the sentences after the first time I hear them. The pace of this video is really good. Thank you!

    Beautiful video ...love from India ..
    Can't believe I knew 80% of the words ( it's because Persian has been official language of our administration for centuries ) .
    But some of the words , we use in a slightly different way .. for example ..--;
    For you - Khamoosh means to Turn off light .
    We use this to shut up someone .
    For you - Moshkil means Problem .
    For us -- is means either a problem or Difficult . .
    Other Persian words we use are --
    Ru-ba-ru (in front of each other) ,
    Deedar (To see/watch) ,
    Rukhsaar (Cheeks),
    Nighehbaan (Protector ) ,
    Mehmaan (Guest)
    Dil (Heart)
    Bakhsheesh (to forgive)
    Dastak (knock)
    Etc etc etc ..........

      He already said he would be giving lessons of daily spoken farsi. If colloquial farsi uses those words, it is not his fault. Arab words in farsi is a reality caused by historical reason 🤷‍♂️

    • @PersianLearning
      @PersianLearning  3 роки тому +10

      When people like you yourself and millions of Iranians stop using these common words in daily conversations, and instead they use original Persian words (which in most cases are used in formal speech), then I will teach that to FOREIGN learners who would like to learn what is popular in daily speech. I hope you understand this point that I'm teaching to foreign people, I am not teaching in Iranian schools!
