- Once you try this, you will probably repeat it over and over. It looks like the flower is growing in the basket, but looks can be deceiving. The flower is actually growing in the ground, and there is a hole in the basket. In this video, I will show you step by step how to make your own basket of Petunias, or some other flower if you like. After I show you how to do the DIY Garden Flower Basket, I'll give you a look at how it progressed through the season.

@@shirleyk623 Thanks!
Jim, your petunia basket looks so lovely. I haven't tried this yet. Last week I found the perfect basket for this project. After the holidays, I plan to cut the bottom of the basket out so I'm ready to get started once spring arrives. Merry Christmas to you and Mrs. Midwest Gardener. I pray that 2024 brings peace to all parts of this wonderful world! ~Margie☃🎄🤗
Thanks Margie! World peace would be a great present for the new year. Merry Christmas!
Good Morning Jim - Thanks so much for demonstrating this beautiful arrangement in the garden. I imagine you could do this with other types of flowers like impatiens to attract pollinators to your garden. Hope you are doing well and have a great weekend..
Good morning Sue! Yes, you could use any type of flower that you want to. Any type that has a bushy growth habit would be good. Anything that attracts pollinators is a good thing. Have a great weekend!
This’s very creative. Looks incredible. Happy Holidays, mate. Stay blessed.
Thanks! Happy Holidays to you also. Have a great weekend!

Can you make more videos about the pink banana or musa velutina?
Sorry, I no longer have one.
So pretty - must try this next spring/summer. You built airplanes!?
It's a fun thing to try. Yes, I built airplanes for several decades.
