That "mace" was so low quality that im convinced i could buy a plastic one that is far more functional for like 1/10th the price

Except for the warhammer, one-handed sword, and the javelin (what he called a spear), all of those weapons were wall-hangers. Especially the "claymore."

I'd take the Warhammer & Spear over the rest of that Mall Ninja Crap

Considering the price he mentioned for that giant thing, he could have gotten a relatively functional great sword from cold steel for half the price and done more damage..

So here is the thing about swords- they are not a monolith. While there are general ideas that classify one sword over another, they aren't hard and fast rules. In fact, most names given to swords are modern terms to clarify what is being referenced. For example "katana" literally means sword, as do most other sword names. Zwei Hander is called that because you use two hands. Another German blade, the Kriegs messer, is the War Knife.
Unfortunately, for the one chatter who claimed flails weren't used, we do have archeological battlefield finds and manuscripts on proper form for flails. They were used, but it's true they weren't common.

"...I don't think nunchucks are a good weapon... Give me a big 'ol stick and I'll smack 'em around."
Now I want to see you react to Shadiversity's videos on the subject, as he shares your opinion, exactly.

Scott is probably twice as big as any knight in the 16 to 19 century

He used weapons made of Extremely bad steel, not intended for weapons, Look up Skallagrim, great channel, his thing is European marshal arts, he knows his steel.

3 things first that absurdly long sword is a claymore. Second all of those weapons are quite low quality reproductions (essentially what most people would refer to as “mall ninja” weapons) that weren’t really made for much more then decoration. Third Scott would be absolutely hilarious playing as drax.

That long sword was not an actual claymore it wasn't even a real weapon just a cut piece of steel

If we could get scott to weild a properly forged buster sword versus modern body armor that would be a much more interesting test
