I still remember the day I discovered there are tinted SPF and how happy I was! Finally I won't look like a ghost wearing a white SPF cream. Abbey Yung no worries at all. I thought to mention it. I think on my list is Clinique to try as well. I have medium skin tone so I find that Avene and Bioderma have darker tinted sunscreen. I live in Colorado so I need a lot of moisturization because the weather is so dry.
Hello! New subscriber over here! I was a bit concerned about the length of the video but I must say all the information you include on the description box is a life saver! It is amazing being able to know what to expect from the video, and the timestamps are great!
At 13:30, you mention that the Dermatology sunscreen has knotweed in it. Knotweed grows around here (Massachusetts) wild, and we cook it up and eat it. It’s supposed to be really good for your and prevents cancer.
Ooooo! After seeing this I found your other video about the Colorscience color swatches. Seeing the bronze swatch is what pushed me over the edge! I HAVE to get it now! I've been trying to see what the bronze actually looked like since May! Everything else I've tried that is tinted always made me look kind of sickly. I think this is going to be perfect. I’m so glad i found your channel! I need to get into sunscreen more, and wish I would’ve years ago, but this was so informative! Thank you for the great content!
Paula's Choice Super-Light Daily Wrinkle Defense is a great tinted SPF for fair skin. My daughter wears it by itself and it matches her skin. I like to mix it with 2 to 4 drops of No7 foundation drops with no additional foundation. It looks very natural on me and seems to control my oil. My favorite so far. I also have the old formulation of the Australian Gold and really like it, but it has some eucalyptus and is also a little bit darker than my skin. First time viewer, btw. Hi!
I couldn’t use the Australian Gold....way too drying, but I love the Mychelle it works great under my makeup, it’s not expensive and it’s coral reef safe. For my sensitive skin it’s been great. Definitely would recommend it.
My skin is sensitive and on the dry side, would you recommend it? Ive been contemplating buying it. I currently use the Cerave tinted spf and really like it. tyia

Thanks so much for the video! I have been using the Australian gold for a few years now and it is one I always repurchase. It’s a bit drying sometimes, but I will sometimes mix it with another dewy sunscreen.
Australian gold is my favorite. I go through bottles and bottles yearly. I even love their kids version my kids. It doesn't pull at their skin like others.
Just recently found your channel and so glad I did! Already learning a lot from you. I plan to try the Cerave untinted sunscreen along with their tinted sunscreen. I am fair skinned and I'm in my late 50s and a little embarrassed to say I didn't realize the importance of protection against the sun, even while indoors and in winter time. Thank you so much!
I love 💕 the Australian Gold. It’s amazing on my combo oily skin. I have the Paula’s Choice tinted sunscreen and the tinted DRMTLGY on the way soon! Can’t wait to try those out. Love the video, I love sunscreen videos.
I just got the Paulas Choice in the light blue tube. It is rather thin but moisturizing and it works great under makeup. Just be sure and let it absorb for about 20 min first.
The austrailian gold is def moussey is how I would describe it. Not sure if I love it, but I think it's just the fact that I don't like spf feeling on my skin. I do love that it's a BB cream and comes in more colors now.
You should definitely check out elta md tinted sunscreen. Water resistant, broad spectrum mineral sunscreen. I wear it every single day and it has never broken me out or piled or interacted with my rigorous skin care regimen which I alternate regularly. ITS MY HOLY GRAIL
Thanks for sharing this! I’m so fair that even the lightest tinted sunscreens are too golden for me (for example, the Australian Gold original is too dark and golden). Untinted ones (the ones people complain about white cast) blend pretty well with my skin with just a slight brightening effect. I want the iron oxide protection, though. It seems like using untinted sunscreen topped with a powder foundation containing iron oxides would provide similar protection for those of us who can’t find a good match (either light or deep enough) - do others have thoughts on that?
I know that this is an old comment but I have the same problem! I don't always want to wear makeup but literally every tinted sunscreen I've ever tried has left some kind of color on my face - usually orange or deep, but sometimes peachy like the Colorescience. Blahhh. I want the protection of titanium dioxide but don't want to look crazy.
I just looked up the ingredients for the spf mentioned and it contains Aluminum, and Edta which are hormone disrupters. I can’t understand why so many people are recommending this brand on UA-cam. 🤷🏻♀️ 🤨
Gina Connors the CeraVe Tinted SPF that is listed on the description box (#6). It contains aluminum stearate, alumina, and aluminum hydroxide as well as disodium edta.
Hi .. love this video and yes please upload video on melasma I would love to see how your mom get rid of this and what products worked for her. Thanks 😊
Thank you for showing how these look on your face that is such a huge help! I love the color science one too & I’m using it now but need a bit more coverage for blemishes/red spots? Wanting to try the EltaMD tinted uv physical next I think. so glad I found your channel, seems like we are on a similar skincare journey
Would love a in-depth review of australian gold given how popular it is! Especially showing reapplications. Mine tends to oxidize/get orange throughout the day and cling to dry patches/fine lines, but would love to hear your experience with it and any tips.
I use that one and I like the Matte finish but I do not like the tint it leaves or how it feels. I am a warm to neutral undertone and my skin has a natural yellow tint to it, this sunscreen makes my face very pink and it feels like i have a layer of wax on my face.
Really cool video and informative! Haha we have so much in common I love my tinted spf from Elta md spf 46, but glad you showed us more! Also I don’t tolerate fragrance and essential oils in my skin care. My elta md spf has octinoxate in and it’s not making my acne worst. Thank you for the info
Great video! The only tinted spf I’ve tried is the Paula’s Choice, but now I want to try a few others. I love your recommendations because we have a very similar skin type.
Hi, thanks for this review. I just discovered your channel. I find that we share a lot of skincare knowledge and preferences, and we also have similar skin type(combo, acne prone) Two of your sunscreens here are on my list (Colorescience and Australian gold). I've been using Elta MD physical SPF 41. It's not perfect as it's a bit drying in winter (I live in Canada), but it doesn't break me out even when my skin barrier was very compromised. They have I believe two other tinted mineral spf that a lot of people love too(UV clear tinted and UV element). I've been on a few months of skin barrier recovery journey. At my worst times even the CeraVe cream that I used to love broke me out. The only thing I could use was Etude House Soon Jung 2x barrier intensive cream. It has shea butter and the skin barrier strengthening ingredient in it is centella asiatica. I've done so much research on that ingredient later and it truly is a godsend for repairing damaged skin. Another thing I'm going to do is stop using makeup remover as much as possible as it does do a bit of damage on the skin barrier for those with sensitive skin no matter how gentle they are. I only wear makeup for work, but when I use a waterproof sunscreen I still need to use a makeup remover or cleansing balm or oil to wash it off. I've seen a few videos showing when using non waterproof sunscreen, a normal gentle face wash is enough to remove it completely. So I just ordered two tinted non waterproof sunscreens (from Cotz and Paula's Choice) to try for days that I don't wear makeup and won't be sweating, and we'll see how much difference it'll make from limiting the use of makeup remover.
I just want to recommend trying either Ponds cold cream or better yet, Jergens cold cream. They remove all makeup and sunscreen and leave my sensitive, dry skin soft and clear.
I would love to see a video about how you healed your skin barrier. I use a CPAP machine every night and have a constant struggle with the skin around the mask. I'm at my wits end trying to heal the skin and people keep asking me if I've been crying! So embarrassing!
You should try Drunk Elephant Umbra Tint! It has a lot of tint to it but I’m very fair so it makes my skin have a summer glow. It’s only a SPF 30 but its 20% Zinc Oxide only and there products have amazing ingredients too!
I have been using the Austrailian Gold for awhile now and I like it pretty well. I just got the Mychelle and I'm hoping it will work to even out my complexion on days where I don't want to wear makeup. Thanks for all the info. I have tried the Cerave but it us only SPF 30 and the other 2 are 50 so I would rather stick with them.
PLEASE do a video on Melasma! I first got Melasma many years ago from a BC pill.. It was so bad and ended up spreading across my whole face.. What’s bad is I’m fair skin so they were very noticeable and so hard to cover up.. It faded when I switched pills but was more prevalent in the Summer with SPF (zinc), Hat, etc.. Then I got pregnant (my son is now 13!) and it came back! Again it has faded a lot on my upper lip, cheeks and forehead.. But now! As I’m in my 40’s.. I’m exactly like you described your Mothers Melasma.. It’s really bad around the jawline.. I’ve tried a lot of things! Even in the past I was on prescription ointments, etc.. Thank you!
Abbey Yung I know.. It’s so frustrating.. I was so lucky growing up I never dealt with breakouts or acne, etc.. People always said I had the nicest skin.. Then BAM! I got hit with Melasma so bad starting in my late 20’s.. It’s made me so self conscious.. Thank you so much! Looking forward to it!
Thanks for this - very informative .! I did end up getting the CereVe and like it but you’re right - it is darker than I was expecting. I think I’ll try dermatology next :)
I’m surprised you didn’t include any Elta MD tinted moisturizers. (I actually haven’t tried them; I have a clear one - but I’ve heard great things, especially about the newest one.) Ilia tinted sunscreen is also supposed to be great. (I haven’t tried it either.) Also, I am really enjoying the NARS Radiance Tinted Moisturizer! It’s only SPF 30, but it looks great on and is gentle to my sensitive skin!

@It’s a Bunnay it's easy to take off if you use a foaming face cleanser. I use CeraVe foaming face wash and it comes right off!
I use a mixture of grape seed oil and avocado oil to get off spf and makeup and it works great.
It’s a Bunnay Try oil cleansing! It comes off perfectly
I was gonna get this.. but have Normal/dry skin. Maybe I should stick w eltamd
I still remember the day I discovered there are tinted SPF and how happy I was! Finally I won't look like a ghost wearing a white SPF cream. I have mostly been using French brands like La Roche posay, Avene and Bioderma. I am not sure if you tried any of them. I highly recommend them as well. It would be great to know how your mum got rid of her dark spots. I will add some of these products to my list to try next. Thanks!
I have! I totally forgot to include La Roche in this video, but I don’t love it nearly as much as some of these ones! It doesn’t reapply well on me at all for some reason 😖
Abbey Yung no worries at all. I thought to mention it. I think on my list is Clinique to try as well. I have medium skin tone so I find that Avene and Bioderma have darker tinted sunscreen. I live in Colorado so I need a lot of moisturization because the weather is so dry.
Ohhh great they have darker options! that makes total sense. We get so humid here in MN in the summer but sooo dry in the winter
I don’t know how you don’t have more views/subscribers. You’re one of my favorite UA-camr’s and I love how consistent you are!
Awww thank you so much! I’ve only been posting 3-5 days a week for a few months so still new 😊
Hello! New subscriber over here! I was a bit concerned about the length of the video but I must say all the information you include on the description box is a life saver! It is amazing being able to know what to expect from the video, and the timestamps are great!
So glad to hear that! ♥️ thank you for subscribing & welcome 😊
Yes please to the dark spot and malasma video would love to see a video how your mum cleared hers.
Thank you for calling out unnecessary fragrances!
Thank you so much!
So glad to help!
I ordered the CeraVe tinted spf in error and so glad I did! All of your videos are so very helpful and am grateful for you and the information you share!
Awesome!! That’s such a good one. Aw thank you so much for the sweet comment I’m happy to help 😊♥️
I appreciate u trying them on omg esp during covid where u can't test them out in our stores :(( thank u :))!! I subbed
Of course! Thank you for subscribing ♥️
Hi!
Ohhh I need to check that out! It sounds amazing 😊 and yay welcome! ♥️
I couldn’t use the Australian Gold....way too drying, but I love the Mychelle it works great under my makeup, it’s not expensive and it’s coral reef safe. For my sensitive skin it’s been great. Definitely would recommend it.
A great option 😊
OMG thank you Abbey! 😘❤️ Your channel literally needs more recognition!
Just bought DRMTLGY yesterday and absolutely love it !
I have the Spf 50 Aussie gold one !! I love it 🥰
Saaaaame 😍
It’s my all time fave!
My skin is sensitive and on the dry side, would you recommend it? Ive been contemplating buying it. I currently use the Cerave tinted spf and really like it. tyia
@@Trainerlife8805 hi in my opinion no, it’s oil absorbing and a matte finish. Cerve is way better for dry skin .
I made sure to use your Amazon affiliated link to help you out as my THANK YOU to you! Such a HELPFUL video! With demonstrations, explanations, prices, I couldn't ask for anything else.
I'm definitely subscribing! Your glow it's so pretty, I can see how nice you are as a person too. Wish you all the success!!! You go girl! 🙌👏👏👏
wow thank you so much! sweetest comment 😊
Thanks so much for the video! I have been using the Australian gold for a few years now and it is one I always repurchase. It’s a bit drying sometimes, but I will sometimes mix it with another dewy sunscreen.
Of course! 😊
You should try the sunbum tinted sunscreen, people have been raving about it and it does have iron oxides :)
Australian gold is my favorite. I go through bottles and bottles yearly. I even love their kids version my kids. It doesn't pull at their skin like others.
Love it too!
The Australian Gold spf just came out with a couple more shades. 😍
I saw that!! ♥️
Yes the Australian gold is soo good 😍 yay! You will love DRMTLGY
I just got the Paulas Choice in the light blue tube. It is rather thin but moisturizing and it works great under makeup. Just be sure and let it absorb for about 20 min first.
The Colorscience in Glow is amazing under makeup 😍
Could you make a video about waterproof sunscreens with no cast as well as best asian sunscreens? Love your videos!
I’ll look into both! Thank you 😊♥️
The austrailian gold is def moussey is how I would describe it. Not sure if I love it, but I think it's just the fact that I don't like spf feeling on my skin. I do love that it's a BB cream and comes in more colors now.
Yes mousse is the perfect word to describe it!!
Australian Gold is what I'm using right now, but would love to try the Cerave one too!
I’m really liking it!!
Just recently discovered your channel, and I’m loving it! I love Cerave as well, so any videos on Cerave I would love, please!
You’re in luck 😊 ua-cam.com/video/DJljpfjrCt4/v-deo.html
I just looked up the ingredients for the spf mentioned and it contains Aluminum, and Edta which are hormone disrupters. I can’t understand why so many people are recommending this brand on UA-cam. 🤷🏻♀️ 🤨
Gina Connors the CeraVe Tinted SPF that is listed on the description box (#6).
It contains aluminum stearate, alumina, and aluminum hydroxide as well as disodium edta.
@@zaria5785 is that the only one that has it?
Absolutely love this! one of the best youtube videos. I instantly subscribed. I wish the babo one was in there though!
Happy to have you here 😊
Yes to the Melasma video! 😍
Done! ♥️
Hi .. love this video and yes please upload video on melasma I would love to see how your mom get rid of this and what products worked for her. Thanks 😊
I will for sure!!
Abbey Yung Thankyou so much for replying. You’re so kind ♥️
Of course 😊
Thank you for showing how these look on your face that is such a huge help! I love the color science one too & I’m using it now but need a bit more coverage for blemishes/red spots? Wanting to try the EltaMD tinted uv physical next I think. so glad I found your channel, seems like we are on a similar skincare journey
Of course! I’ve been seeing a lot of comments on EltaMD I’m so curious! I’m so glad too thank you for the support 😊
Yes, please! Having skin barrier issues myself.
Just subscribed to your channel. Love it so far 😁
That video is up :)
My favorite is Australian Gold Mineral SPF 50 tinted. I have never found anything as awesome as this product.
Loved this!! I love a few of these. I do love the Australian gold but it is rather pinky! Tinted spf is the best! 😍
Yay! ♥️ agreed I love tinted SPF
New subscriber here after listening to this. Plain straight forward info. Ty. Got my Cerve Hydrating tinted spf in 30.
Thank you for subscribing! So happy to help. Hope you love it 😊
Thanks for going over all these for us, what is your mani color? Im obsessed over your nail color.
Orly Neon Heat!
Great video! The only tinted spf I’ve tried is the Paula’s Choice, but now I want to try a few others. I love your recommendations because we have a very similar skin type.
happy to help 😊
Would you be able to do a video showing the difference between the Elta MD Tinted sunscreens?
Hi, thanks for this review. I just discovered your channel. I find that we share a lot of skincare knowledge and preferences, and we also have similar skin type(combo, acne prone)
Two of your sunscreens here are on my list (Colorescience and Australian gold).
Yes! Please make a video showing how your mom got rid of those spots!!
already did 😊
This comparison was great and helpful for me! I do love drmtlgy have used it for years.
Absolutely want to see how your mom got rid of it. As soon as you can please. Thank you. Love your videos.
Of course! Thank you so much ♥️
Would love to see how your Mom erased those pesky brown spots!! Just subscribed to your channel and love the content!!
Thank you so much! ♥️ coming in the next few weeks 😊
YESSSSSSS Please do the video on your mom, please sooner the better!💁🏻♀️😘
Coming very very soon! Stay tuned!
YOU ARE JUST SO PRETTY!!
Wow thank you so much 🥺♥️
Thank you for all the great information on these tinted spfs!
Of course! ♥️
I would love to see a video about how you healed your skin barrier. I use a CPAP machine every night and have a constant struggle with the skin around the mask. I'm at my wits end trying to heal the skin and people keep asking me if I've been crying! So embarrassing!
Yes that’s going up next week! Ugh that is so frustrating 😩 I hope it helps!
I just bought the dermatology one and I love love it. So sheer and doesn't pill at all!
Yes please, a video on cerave and barrier function repair. Thanks
You should try Drunk Elephant Umbra Tint! It has a lot of tint to it but I’m very fair so it makes my skin have a summer glow. It’s only a SPF 30 but its 20% Zinc Oxide only and there products have amazing ingredients too!
Excellent job in every way Abbey!
Whoa nelly!!! I wanna know what you’re wearing in this video! This look is so gorgeous!!!!
Just bought the botanical sunscreen bc of you..!!!! Hopefully it works out for my sensitive skin under makeup
Yay I hope so too! ♥️
Abby you are amazing! Thanks for all the great, well researched info. What is the nail polish you are wearing?
It’s desire from LA girl! It chips pretty quickly as a heads up 😕
Very good video. I've been wanting to get a tinted SUNSCREEN. I would also be interested in seeing how your mother got rid of her melasma. Thanks!
So glad to help! That video was posted yesterday 😊
So glad this popped up in my recommended! Great content. Just subscribed. I’m wondering what you recommend for lip protection? 😊
Thank you for subscribing! ♥️ vanicream has a lip SPF that’s great 😊
PLEASE do a video on Melasma! Thank you!
It’s so stubborn and will never go away permanently 😫 have to be so careful once you do get rid of it! I will for sure! ♥️
That’s horrible 😭 I am basically just waiting for mine to appear from years of not wearing SPF when I was younger... so many regrets about that!!
Abbey Yung yes! I’m sure I’m much older then you and I know we use to do whatever we could to attract more sun! Not repel it.. 😭
Absolutely. Times have totally changed!!
The Australian gold is amazing and also using the cerave love them
Love them both! 😍
Thanks for this - very informative .! I did end up getting the CereVe and like it but you’re right - it is darker than I was expecting. I think I’ll try dermatology next :)
Happy to help! DRMTLGY is so great
Definitely going to give the Cerave tinted sunscreen a try.
Great one!
Excellent video! Can you please let us know which one do you believe is best for dry skin.
Colorescience, Cerave & Cetaphil!
I have an entire separate video on them 😊
lol I love the lil pose she does after putting the sunscreens on- it’s like a reaction from the office 🤣
I just got the Colorescience one and it’s sooo good! 🙌🏻
Right!!! I have been obsessed ever since I first tried it 😍
Yes!!!!!! Please please PLEASE do a video on melasma and how your mom got rid of it. I’m only 41 and have it really badly 😭👎🏻
Ugh you are not alone 😫 it’s sooo common! I will ♥️
