I used to live on the outskirts of Newton Aycliffe and there a couple of police there who are horrendous. Extremely biased and not able to be non-judgmental at all. It wasn't anything drug or criminal related but I'd still not trust them with my dog, nevermind policing.
Even if innocent, don't help the police with anything. Two-tier, political policing means they deserve 0 help. Always ask for a solicitor, then stay quiet until one arrives. I've never been in trouble with police yet I already have disdain for them as they've treated me poorly.
But your advice creates situations where there don't need to be any though. If you have nothing to fear then simply comply. Yes there are a lot of egotistical police officers out there but that applies to any profession which puts people in a degree of power. 'They deserve 0 help.' Really?
