    @ftart yup, you're right. that's an important concept for sure. but it's always a delicate balance between telling part of the story and giving too much information. as a teacher, i find that if you give too much information at once, the whole concept is lost. if you were in my class, the next day after this lesson, i'd say, "now why do the atoms get smaller?" and we'd go from there. if you're interested in teaching (i hope you are!) a vital thing to think about is: "what can i leave out?"

    @machacador28 i understand your point, but i have to disagree. youtube is not a good source if you need technical information; it's like going to mcdonald's and expecting gourmet french food. if you need to be technical, go to the library, or look through textbooks, or even wikipedia--they're all filled with technical information, but it's so boring and impossible to understand. what i'm trying to do here is to get the basics across so people can get it, and hopefully in a fun way.

      @@madridista8617 Don’t know if this will be of much help. But, he asked on Facebook if anyone wanted help with something related to nursing as he wanted to make videos on that. This was in April, and there were about 100 comments, which were very positive. He was active in Facebook last year end to April. He was also active on Twitter in Feb. this year.

    I LOVE YOU. I wish things were always explained in school using the simple terms and analogies, and then once we grasp the concept they can get more technical. But instead they just start out with technical and then its just plain harder for no reason.

    hey lol so there were two topics i didnt quite understand ionization being one of them and you cleared up it really nice. i like how you start from the beginning and work your way up and dont just assume that we already know the basic info.     this took me ages to understand back in high school and i still didn't get it because i thought science was supposed to be learned not by UNDERSTANDING it but remembering very detail in the textbook.
