i mean u got know him / her well before getting to the next step , if you're serious then you really should give yourselves time , unless you're truly desperate somehow which will also have an impact on our judgement , it's also sus if you're in a hurry , personally there's no official period but i'd recommand a period of 2 years of serious dating and see for yourself if u wanna stay with that person for the rest of u're life....
