It’s amazing like how most parents do not support the lies of their kids. This actually give me some hope in the future generations. I enjoy it with a good laugh 😅
And to think that for some kids and teenagers that is the reality of their home life they have the parental role, of having to prepare breakfast and dinner for their family and go to school, some work for a few hours or take care of younger siblings and put them to bed to then have the time to start working on their homework; due to my profession I see the reality of some children who are parents to their parents. But such is life everything can be funny depending from what perspective is seen.
A video of a parent being apathetic is less likely to become popular + people with a good relationship with their parents are more likely to record this type of video so this isn’t exactly the best reflection of the entire generation, but it’s still good to see.
Mom didn’t call out the lies, but I disagree about her being expressionless. There were definitely surprise expressions. Mom’s eyes would wander to her daughter every now and then too. Also I see that as a reaction to the lies. There were a lot of “oh, do you?” moments. Dad was just more obvious about his disbelief.
