so glad valissa won. valissa's outfit is a tiny bit too dressy, but it does look really nice. blair's outfit looks too casual and also make's her model look fatter rather than valissa's dress which elongates her model's body. plus, blair's outfit is kinda ugly.
Lol I love it when Whitney makes the serious face.
Blair had a wonderful attitude :) I wish more people reacted this way to losing :D True artist right there! but I preferred Valissa's outfit better, and it is something I would have worn :)
this show is getting better and better. the contestants are so humble and the judges look less in pain and upset
Blair's look was perfect for a girl from the suburbs meeting the parent. Valissa's outfit was for a city girl meeting the rents. Honestly I wouldn't wear either...I'd side with Valissa but those shoes were way too matchy matchy.

I loved that dress for the 1st time meeting the parents. It show confidence and a bright boldness.
yes, it helps to wear a dress that gives you something to do like if you can also take a purse because it can really be boring and you can feel out of place when they take you to meet thier parents ..yes, dresses are not bad. i wore jeans because it was cold and i didn't have money and the mother didn't like me very much..but it was all that i had to wear..and plus i was overweight..i really did not want to go but it was the holidays and the pressure
i watch these shows and so wish i could get a professional style makeover. i need some help.
That dress was beautiful and outfits show you and who you are. That's fashion! The other outfit..was ugly..I'm sorry, not sorry.
I dont care what others say but the outfit that Valissa pulled together was amazing, its probably something i would wear because i love loud colors, and maybe it was how the girl can show her personality to the parents, its different

Depending on what your boyfriend's parents are like, you can still get away with jeans and a t-shirt :) and if your boyfriend isn't telling you what they're like, you can sometimes tell by where they want to meet :) Like if your meeting at a baseball game, definitely go for jeans and a t-shirt :D
I really like Valissa's style... she was better with her airplane trip look, even with the bad shoes (loved the layers).

Goodness that outdated look. I am thinking of a plain white empire cut fitted flare dress with the stocking as a ribbon on a classic nude bag. Dang maybe I can join too lol

Saying that bootcut jeans are out is ignorant , I know Hudson has them in their new collection , Burberry too ...I guess she knows more than designers lol .
I'm liking both looks, one is dressier than the other, to me it looks more like something a woman in her mid 20's or older would wear. The jeans look is more youthful but elegant, though I'd change the shoes for something without a high heel.

Blair's model looked a lot older. She should've chosen skinny white jeans and braided the hair. The porka dot stockings could have been tied as an accessory on the bag.
I love the show, I've agreed with every decision the judges have made, however, they and be nicer and still be taken seriously, I wish they smiled more. I also don't see the point of showing what you're going to watch when the episode is only 10 minutes long. Just start without a preview, it's unnecessary
I knew right off the bat when I saw Valissa's outfit that she'd lose :(
the dress is bright and bold but not appropriate for a first time meeting the parents. it tries too hard. i like how Blair dressed up the jeans which is appropriate for meeting parents. the judges have no clue on styling and cancel each other's comments out. the fat judge must be in charge since she always gets her way.
