I always get excited when i See Uri has uploaded another build video. Im like a child on Christmas morning. Thank you Uri. you make me happy my friend.
I just adore the fact that you do almost everything using hand tools! It shows people that you don't necessarily need all those fancy machines. And on top of that your personality is amazing! Love your videos man!
Uri, you are a gift to mankind. The days and weeks go by where there is no videos posted and I start to worry something has happened to you. But then, there you are with another unique idea; I smile and the day is good. The world needs more people like you Uri. Work safe.
Man you are so brilliant and fun to watch. I’m so stuck in your channel. 2 side plane and saw? Brilliant. Love it. Love your channel. You do carving, woodworking, metal and so many cool stuffs. Keep doing your work. Very fun
It’s like we’ve stepped into a completely different plane of existence, one where you don’t know whether you’re coming or going. It’s just plane crazy. You, sir, are a genius! Love your work! -Plane-ly speaking, you’ve doubled your output.
Uri, Once again you amaze me, That is a real nice plane... Its satisfying to see how simple something can be made. I really enjoy the mix of projects. Each one has a new surprise.
man, I work metal too, but everytime i see your videos I doubt about my patience and skill in a way I never doubted before.. keep going, you're awesome hahaha
Great idea providing the grain is straight, any variation and you will just pull lumps out , that's why planes are ono directional and where we get the expression " Go with the grain ".
I had this same idea a couple months ago. I thought I was a genius, but now that Uri did it...... I _know_ I'm a genius. I thought about the grain direction problem, but my idea was to make it as a scrub plane. The advantage of a bi-directional plane is speed/efficiency, so using it to hog off lots of material where you don't care about the surface texture would probably be the best use. You could also go the opposite way and make a smoothing plane, where the blade depth is so shallow/fine that it won't tear out when going backwards.
Fantastic. It's Always a pleasure to see a new video uploaded from you. I'd give anything for one of your crafted plane tools. As usual your videos make my day.
The adjusting two blades problem can be overcome with "divide and conquer" cut the plane in half and you get two planes to adjust separately. Nice idea for an entertaining video, well done.
Brilliant, now you don't have any wasted effort when you have to move back to the starting end of the peice of wood you are plaining!! LOL What might work better is having one end set for a thinner shaving then the other. You can then use one end to get your wood close to finished dimension then switch to the finer end to finish off. Have fun experimenting and I look farward to seeing it in future videos
"Its expensive, pointless, more parts, more tuning..."
alright Uri I'm sold, let's make it happen!
"anyway that's never stopped us before" should be the channel by line ;)

"Now, I know montages aren't the most exciting forms of media but that's nothing a quick montage cant fix"
Sawing* thrilling*
Filing arent the most thrilling
Doctor Nobody it was a joke since he had multiple montages.
Would love a tutorial on that “one-stroke” filing technique you used when rounding the wedge... very interesting
It's a trade secret
"there is no reason to have this. But that's never stopped us before so lets do it"
I love that attitude, keep doing what you do man. :D
I just adore the fact that you do almost everything using hand tools! It shows people that you don't necessarily need all those fancy machines. And on top of that your personality is amazing! Love your videos man!
Your humor has really come a long way. The edits are funny and well timed, and your comfort with the camera keeps getting better. Great work!
The file POV webcam was essential.
I thought it was awesome!
It made me laugh

A new shop sound. The bi-plane or pusher puller. Love it!
*Plane companies don't want you to know this one trick!*
"Nothing that a nice montage couldn't fix", - that's an instant like.
It’s like we’ve stepped into a completely different plane of existence, one where you don’t know whether you’re coming or going. It’s just plane crazy. You, sir, are a genius! Love your work! -Plane-ly speaking, you’ve doubled your output.
Very very very good concept. It's something New..!!!! Never ever someone had that idea!!!! Might have severeral advantages !
That worked surprisingly well and i love it.
Hilarious. Especially the saw in the end. Very entertaining. Thank you.

You sir are asking the right questions.
man, I work metal too, but everytime i see your videos I doubt about my patience and skill in a way I never doubted before.. keep going, you're awesome hahaha
Thanks Jonathan! The more skill you have the less patience you need, and vice versa. I think I'm still very much in the patience stage ¦D

Brilliant, nuff said!
Insanity!Preposterous! More please!
works almost absurdly well
very clever and very talented well done.
Your actually one of my top 3 favourite UA-camrs
All your videos are entertaining.
Even though it is more complicated, it's also approximately twice as plane. And that's basically double.
Great video for another bonkers project. Awesome. As for the montages, reminded me of Rocky IV. Keep up the good work.
Two blades! For an even closer shave with no razor burn!
Great skill,creative,you are an artist!
Man I love your videos, your a true genius URI..! Keep up the great work my friend 👌
You're so funny, love your video's and artwork! Lost a lot of time watching all of them, past few days.

That double edge saw was neat, probably took awhile to make also, very polished up

There always so entertaining

This is a really good idea!
Uri, You are a God among men!!!
They used to sell double direction saws on late night television. Also you can get scroll saw blades which cut on both strokes.
This man made a double sided saw for a two second joke. That would take me forever to make
Using a plane, to plane a plane! Very zen!
I love your crazy ideas😘
Fantastic. It's Always a pleasure to see a new video uploaded from you. I'd give anything for one of your crafted plane tools. As usual your videos make my day.

Ah another refreshing upload from Uri, my favourite comediarpentist. Made my day.
GREAT !!!! I never know whether I'm coming or going half the time, now I can make a plane that will keep me coming and going at least !!!
Uri you wonderful genius.
You’re like the Simone Giertz of handtools.
Despite the lack of actively moving parts, this is hilarious and one of my favorites you've ever done.
