really enjoyed this. When I was a kid, I read the Eragon books, which highlights the "erôthknurl" - a dwarven mud ball. I loved it then, and thought of it when watching your video. It's clear you wanted to showcase your corner of the world as well as how you appreciate it - lovely video, thank you.
The original meaning of "doro-dango" in Japanese is not "shiny mudball" but "mud dango" where "dango" is a type of food, a ball-shaped dumpling, often covered with shiny sweet paste.
@@appleseedgames6934 I think especially because it's dirt and so worthless, that it creates a powerul metaphor. With enough time effort, and creatvity, even something as useless as dirt can turn into a nice and satisfying shiny sphere. Now you use that story and sell the dirt ball to a museum for 3 million dollars lol
Too much Instagram, pointless imagery, and not enough actual instruction. Delete the stupid app and learn to make instructional videos the right way. I’ve already found several, but somehow woke UA-cam put yours first. Yes, go and be offended snowflakes.

Good tutorial, I really liked how you added a method for making fine clay for better shine and the rolling bowl method.

It's not "Mud dango" either... its literal Japanese translation is "mud dumpling."

This is the best tutorial for making a dorodango ball I've seen so far. Lovely film!
This is the best tutorial for making a dorodango ball I’ve ever seen. It’s also the only one I’ve ever seen
It’s a slippery slope my friend. Stay safe
@@gb9252pretty sure I won’t watch another one. I rather stick to not having friends than a pet mud ball.
@@PH4RX why not both? My 2 year old mud ball is more loyal than the majority of the friends I’ve ever had

Excellent! I am going to have to make one of these. I have already done a foil ball which was fun!
Could you try painting it?
Love it! Looks so meditative.
Such a beautiful and relaxing film. I bet you got an awesome grade! 🌻
泥だんご = mud dumpling. or mud ball.
I wonder if i can do that with beach sand.
Sand won’t stick the same as clay.
better use a small glass to spherize perfectly and obtain best shining
Super job on this video!
Some of these sell for ridiculous amounts on etsy.
Looks like hash
Probably bubbles a bit high! A game people play with them?
how much time in the bag when it starts to crack?
Just mix in straw to the core mix to avoid cracking altogether

It’s art bruh, emotional and understanding of self can also be considered progress
