Very nice looking jig. I'm still using the old wooden one I built kinda like Mr. Coop's. I might have to buy one of those, looks slick.
I'm generally not a DIY kind of guy (I'm a bit envious of those who are), so this jig was a great option for me. Well worth the cost, imho. The SpeedyJig folks put out some quality product.
I have the wood one, used it a few times; wasn't very useful for me. Not very sturdy. I came across the metal one, about to use it for the first time with this video. It's solid and seems like it will be a lot better than the wood one.

I did exactly the same when measuring the wrist. My husband’s wrist measured 8 inches so I added an inch and used the 3/8” notch because I was using the smaller buckle. It came out too small and I had to take it apart. Can’t figure out how it was too small when I added the inch. The finished size didn’t reach 9”.
My speedy jig plus didn't come with those instructions. Could you do a video on how to finish the bracelet? That's where i'm having issues.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to make a video specific to that anytime soon. I think the picture in the instructions along with the video will clear it up. There are more ways to finish than are shown in the instructions. Sometimes I'll cut and burn the lines after I make my last wrap, similar to how I do it in this video: ua-cam.com/video/xane3csd9v8/v-deo.html

How much cord do we fold in half ???
Depending on size of bracelet and cord used, but 10' should be more than enough. I keep a notebook with cord weights/bracelet size, then I don't have to guess as much. Thanks for watching and sorry for the slow reply!
How much paradors do I need to make a 18 inch lanyard?
I'm not sure. My guess, if using 550 paracord, about 28' to 30'.

If you're doing the cobra braid, not counting how you're doing attachment points, the general rule of thumb is that for each inch of cobra braid you want, you need one foot of cord...
So, 18 feet
What size buckles
The kit comes with 3/8". I sometimes use 5/8, depending on what I'm making.
