Being a little older and not understanding the written directions as well as i used to makes these videos so important. I truly enjoy watching you show us how to do this and I was specifically looking for this design as we have had a sheriffs deputy die this week and my sheriff was good friends with him. (Different county) As i have previously commented, I also am working with my service dog on alerts and the paracord bracelets help him have something to focus on for the alert. I am also going to make something so he can get my Glucometer and my medicine. The medicine one has to be a design that will keep him safe so he doesn’t break the bottle and access the medicine. Thank you for your help

What are you using for buckles? Those I find locally have a two slot on the male end.
I did a king cobra braid with a blue stripe and also a neon yellow just to do it, came out well.
My granpa made these for years and I never knew what they were called and I have just picked up making them myself. So I am very grateful for the tutorial.

Which is better, electric blue or royal blue? Is one darker than the other? Looking at the online offerings is confusing since it depends on the color calibration of the website or my monitor.

I actually used this template to make the thin red line one. I simply used red when he explained it.

Why don't you use a buckle with the whistle and the fire starter?
just made one. looks real nice. but I used 550 for the black and same for the blue. what size cord did you use on both colors? and what size buckle?
I just made this using the the same cords 550. I used the .5in/12mm buckle cause that's what I prefer but you could go bigger as longs as its comfortable and snug with the paracord. If you are making this for a girl or kid a 325 cord would be nice since its less bulky.

go to his product web site, in the search bar type in "marines", he has a cord in the marine colors. if you prefer solid colors you will have to purchase from a different company, as he does not carry them. The colors are scarlet and gold.

It's really up to you. Marine Corp could be red and gold. Army be fine with hunter green and gold. Air Force be navy blue and gold. I did a breast cancer awareness one for my girlfriend, it was pink and white. I made one for St Patrick's day, it was gold then I laid orange, white, and green for Irish flag. I just have fun lol.

How long should the blue piece be
I say about a foot and that's with excess. it just has to be the length of your wrist to fit around the bracelet plus a bit extra so 10-12 inches or 25-30 cm. But obviously differs depending how large your wrist is

6 inches extra give or take of the length from your bracelet
