Hmmmm, maybe, but it's still going to fit differently with the thickness of the knotted cord added.

Yes, it's one of many possible knots. The cobra knot is good for this type of jewelry because it can be pulled out easily if needed.
I did find your video helpful but was a little disappointed to discover you were making a single color bracelet, not the two-color you were holding up at the start. Also, you didn't show us how to finish the bracelet.
