I've been looking for other 'honest reviews' of Temu and this is legitimately the only unpaid video I can find. Screaming OH MY GOD THIS IS SO CUTE I LOVE IT! on every single item. I even saw one where the girl lost her mind over the free cleaning cloth that comes with EVERY pair of sunglasses. So thank you again for being a genuine human being.
I just saw another one, lady had been approached but ended up buying to keep it fair. They didn't know she went that route. She was generally happy with stuff. You do get what you pay for with them so have appropriate expectations and double check sizes of items. They can look big in the photo and be really small when you get it.
@@stephjezo6470 I got a bunch of t-shirts and they're all 100% POLYESTER, they do not feel nice at all. The 'print' on the tees is just a decal and will probably come off after the first wash, so I do not recommend any shirts lol. Costume jewelery 👎. The best thing I got was a bath mat for $2 and that's the thing I thought was going to be the biggest disappointment. I'm probably not gonna order from them again. I'm not upset bc I only paid 20 bucks total and I didn't have any wild expectations of greatness lol
Hi... FYI, the mini water cooler can also be used in the bathroom for a little cup of mouthwash or if you have a stressful job, you can fill the cooler with tequila!
Hi Jamie! Here in Brazil Lenovo is a popular tech brand for many years now. I used to have a laptop from them and it was fine. The thing is that they have some products with more acessible price that aren't so good quality as the more expensive ones. But they are ok. I think they are so cheap to buy in US because they have a headquarters in North Carolina. Fun fact: Ashton Kutcher used to be a product engineer and spokesman for Lenovo.
Thanks, Ashton Kutcher is a POS, so I thank you for the heads up. He probably owns it. The elite make all their money off of humans and their trafficking and slavery, while they keep all profits. I can't stand looking at any of them any longer.
Call me crazy but I was wondering if they were faked Lenovo ear buds. They bought out IBMs Thinkpad business I wouldn’t think of them as a maker of $9 air pods. I would think of them as a brand name worth stealing to put on generic cheap air pods.
probably 90% of everything being bought on this site (and sites like this) is gonna be in landfills by this time next year. even if it seems like they have good deals/cute stuff, the life cycle of products like these is abysmal. Insanely cheap prices means sacrificing quality and people making these products are definitely not getting fair wages. man i really h8 how popular sites like these are ugh :(
I don’t understand how sites like this are any different than dollar tree or stores similar to that or even Walmart - they all carry garbage that ends up in landfills.
I hate it, websites and stores like these suck but now thrift stores are more if not more expensive than stores. My son was born with a heart condition so I’m home taking care of him and my husband is the only one working. Our family of 4 is struggling 😭😭
I ordered a rechargeable lint remover. It was 6$ plus shipping. It never showed up. - I was told by a Chinese friend that I should test any kitchen items or items like tooth brushes & makeup ordered from Temu for lead. (Amazon sells lead testing kits - you rub a swab over the item and then use a few drops of a solution and the solution changes color if it detects lead) - I don’t know if we should actually be concerned, but I’m buying a lead testing kit anyway to test flea market and thrift store items. Thanks for this video. Glad your products arrived.
She isn’t even covering anything except how the products could possibly be not as good as you think. That is NOT the full extent of research you should be doing. Purchasing from companies like this is harmful in many ways
@@hellothereangelface I just don't understand why people don't go to thrift stores more often or the dollar store if it's really that necessary to buy junk
What’s even more amazing is that on my first order I decided I didn’t like one outfit - that cost like 12 bucks - so I clicked for a refund, and they were like “yeah this shit’s too cheap to bother with. Y’all just keep it and here’s your money back.” Hard to argue with that.
That, like a lot of things I hear about temu, makes me concerned about how cheap and unethical the production process must be if they can literally just give the products away
my biggest concern with these online wholesalers is the amount of microplastics and hazardous chemicals used in the production bc if allie express and shein have this issue i wouldn’t be surprised if other stores have the same warehouses
I also see most of this stuff as junk people will get bored with soon (once the novelty wears off) and a lot of it will wind up in the landfills. It all looks like cheap garbage.
@@Lorena_in_the_starsit's clothes , household supplies, house hold furniture, kitchen stuff , hobbies , arts and crafts , bathroom stuff , purses , smaller electronics, honestly its more like a five below , almost exactly the same stuff but more then in five below and prices are higher on some stuff !!
Fast fashion has made people think that our (garment workers) labor should be dirt cheap or free. I hate it. I always tell customers that the reason their alterations are more expensive than the dress is because I'm making a living wage, meanwhile the people overseas that assembled the garment very well might not be🙃
Their add "shopping like a millionaire" = off of the backs of work slaves. "Shopping like a billionaire...." Billionaires shop the way they do by exploiting us too. Most of the wealth in the world belongs to modern day kings aka billionaires.
Imo if things are being made/sold that cheap, there is likely people being abused at the bottom line. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. 😞
@Gabriel Hamsi just thought overstock is people selling unbought trash that is already sitting around somewhere. Not saying people aren't being exploited but there are tons of warehouses already full of this sorts of stuff and companies make tons of money selling it to people thinking they're getting a bargain when they're just getting old models of stuff.
It being really cheap probably means they are using cheap material, which sometimes have chemicals in/on them that are toxic to us. The laws about what materials can and can't be used are different in other countries, so something like lead could be present in any product
Americans allow the worst chemicals in our foods that other countries ban entirely so..... literally everything will kill you. Every company has immoral practices and exploit worker's, whether it's Balenciaga, Nike, or Walmart. Point being, I think people should stop being so judgey or make their own products cuz if they're that concerned since no single company isn't without flaw🤷🏼♀️
Sorry to tell you, but our skies are being sprayed every single day with toxic chemicals to alter the weather world wide, a bit of chemicals in a toy etc should be the least of your worries.
I just wanted to say how much I appreciate Jaime for bringing up the fact companies like TEMU and Shein are sketchy and we should be cautious when buying from them and other companies. It's such great advice! The reasons these companies are so cheap is often do to things like the horrific working conditions that are sometimes actual slave labor. Not to mention the environmental impact these companies have. I understand sometimes having no choice but to buy from places like this when money is tight and other circumstances, or even if you see something you might like. I just really appreciate that Jamie is urging us to do our best as consumers to do our research and think about what we are buying
They're not just sketchy, they are outright violating human rights. They're so cheap at the expense of salaries of the people who work there. Have salary standards in the US, can't pay people nothing for making new clothes designs every 2 weeks all day long? Let's go to countries where there are no such restrictions!
@@kelleygreengrass I know. right.. I've stopped ordering anything online around 3 years ago - Amazon, whatever other sites - and go to local stores looking for locally made products. It's hard, but often possible. Sometimes really impossible though, or no way to find out information about how it was made. I wish it was somehow centralized, through laws or something, to have every product state clearly in what conditions it was made, otherwise so much time needs to be spent to find where and what to get if one wants to avoid sweatshops. My rule of thumb, if the price is shockingly low, I don't buy it...
It's not sometimes slave labor but is always slave labor...if you are buying something for two dollars you should always assume that is coming at the cost of the people in the manufacturing process.
@@RutaBauzaite End Slavery Now puts this a lot better than I ever could "Victims of unfair or low wages - like those in sweatshops - are not enslaved because they do not work under the threat of a penalty or without volunteering their employment. Their employment is a different form of exploitation, though related to the similar desire to generate a profit." So yes they are working in abhorrent sweatshops and bei g abused and taken advantage of. But we do not know for sure if all of them are in actual forced labor conditions. That doesnt excuse these companies or say its ok to buy from them I was just pointing out that fact that like Shein for example there was a worry they were getting cotton that was processed via forced labour from Uyghur detainees.
I think for me it was seeing that TEMU’s parent company is on the capitalist equivalent of a watch list for being shady so. Idk even if I personally wanted to, it’s still relatively cheap items and I know they’re cheap for a reason. They may have cool stuff, sure, but maybe it’s just not my jam to even try to order from them or think of trying. Fun video tho
I agree, not my thing either. Kind of a conflicting situation cause they seem to have some okay/fun things but you know it was made in terrible conditions.
Omg, you haven't popped up in my algorithm or notifications in months and I forgot you existed (adhd) but I have been down lately and craving something funny and down to earth and I just found you again and I felt guilty about all the vids I missed 😮.... now im binge watching and it feels like a catch up with an old friend, you are a tonic to my soul Jamie French...... thank god you exist, please keep it up... your light is much needed in the world 😊 xxx
Jamie, if you ever want to get the smell of onion and garlic off of your hands, rub your hands on stainless steel. It clings to the sulfur molecules that are left on your hands and removes the smell. It works every time! 🙂
If your faucet it steel it’s especially convenient for that. A chef on a cooking show did it, washed hands rubbed faucet…maybe Rachel ray? I only noticed cause my grandmother had given me a little piece of steel made specifically for this purpose.
Side note: to get the smell of onion off your hands, put about a quarter size amount of salt on your palm, rub your hands together, then wash normally with soap and water. (Depending on how stout the onion is, sometimes I have to repeat the process 1 more time), but generally, it works on the 1st time
Your content is 10/10. You are so funny and good hearted. I listen to you while doing all my stay at home mom jobs and you lessen my anxiety by a lot. So thank you
I had never heard of Temu until like 2 weeks ago and now I cannot get away from them. I honestly refuse to buy anything just out of pettiness from how much they shove their ads down my throat 😂 Well that and ya know… the horrific impact on our eco system and straight up child salve labor.
Thank you! This is how I feel. This is destroying Canadian and American economy and the younger people seem to not think a second before supporting China of all places. Shein was found to sell products with 20x the legal aboumt of lead in them. This stuff could be toxic for God's sake and were supporting the production. It makes me angry
When you're broke sometimes child labor is the only way you can afford to really have anything extra ... ethically sourced products are for the rich lol Plus, temu doesn't necessarily employ slave labor any more than any other company, they just charge less due to spelling directly from the manufacturer
Those mini blender's are made for mixing up powdered mix into liquids. Like protein powder, collagen powder, etc., with juice, milk, water. It's not powerful enough to chop anything.
Honestly even if they are legit, I am sketched out by their company. I don't trust buying from them even if I get what I paid for. I'm also kinda sketched out because of that blender you got being nasty. What else can possibly be contaminated and you don't even know?
@@GullibleTarget I have made two pretty good-sized orders from them and everything has been legit and perfect. And I'm no one special to be paid to say something like that. Shoot I wish I was special enough to be sponsored 😂😂😂😂
Yeah I've been pretty sus about Temu since the beginning of the advertising bombardment, genuinely appreciate your investigation and the input from your Birb :D
Hey ! Several points: - First, as a French person, I wanted to say that you are doing great ! Yes, we do pronounce Babbel like this ^^ (and I may get the app to get back into Spanish !). - Secondly, I am shocked because I have always pronounced Shein like "shine" 😅. - Thirdly, thank you for trying Temu so I don't have to. It has indeed been in my face (I would even say pushed down my throat at this point !) - Loved the "Nick fashion show", he has potential 😄 - Also, your bird is so cute 😍 Awesome videos, as always !
Once a month, I sit down on my night shift break, order shawarma, and catch up on your videos. Thanks for being a part of my ✨ treat yo’ self ✨ routine.
I recently discovered your channel and have been binge watching your videos. I have anxiety and your videos are so comforting. Thank you for being you. 😊🩷💜
You’re doing the Lord’s work… After receiving 2 sponsorship emails per day from them (from a ton of different addresses) in my business inbox, I finally blacklisted the word TEMU to mute the barrage! I’m not about to work with this company!
So in October they were actually pretty neat and the games were really easy to win and I literally won over $800 worth of credits to spend in temu and I got some pretty good stuff, but since then they've started making the games harder to win and also they've started ripping off artists which really isn't cool and so I don't use temu really anymore because I don't want to support artist getting their work stolen/ripped off
I'm sure you will get a ton of comments about this so I will start by saying (*)I love your content and your personality.(*) However the bad thing about TEMU is that it's in the business of selling so much single use plastic, poor quality products made with harsh chemicals, that's why everything is dirt cheap, trendy clothes made poorly you may wear once or twice. The impact of the environment is awful.
Yeah it’s like billionaires are paying politicians to prevent laws being made to protect the planet. The 1% raped you for the first 500 billion profit then raped the planet for the next 500 billion. Humans have a Built In extinction: greed. Hell we’re hardwired to never be satisfied -Even couch potato’s want a recliner
I made the mistake of sizing up because previous experience with another company. Temu sizing is pretty accurate. I am a L or Xl and can buy those sizes in regular or OXL in curve. I bought 4 bathing suits and they were of excellent quality and value, I did size up and they are too big. I just opened my pool this week so will see how they hold up to daily chlorine exposure. I have ordered about 7 times from Temu and most everything has been excellent. What I wasn’t happy with was either immediately refunded with no need to return or was credited immediate upon dropping off to ups or canada post. I had two dresses that were so short they barely covered my butt. I am tall at 5’10. I learnt to take measurements of my body and only order clothing I can check against measurement sizing. I also watch pics/videos of clothing people buy. There’s been a few items I have been interested only to find they look fuller and better material in the ads. I control my notifications and thus far haven’t been bothered with emails and texts. Their paper crafting items are amazing. Same paper products I have seen on Amazon, esty. Not copies, the exact same. Quality of most items I have purchase are superior to dollar store. Dollar store paper extremely thin. Husband bought “iPod like” earbuds 3 months ago and uses them daily for work, still working fine for $7. Only differences between them and my $200 JBLS are, mine last forever on one charge and his only 4 hrs of continued use, mine have crisper sound and better base. But for the price you can’t complain. I have seen popular US company steal a stamp design off a designer friend who owns her own business and sell it in one of their monthly subscription card kits. Stealing designs is nothing new. 😢
I know shein clothing was found to have a lot of lead in it, and even dollar stores in canada 1 in 4 products had way unsafe levels of things such as lead. It was common in things like headphones so of they break it can come out so please be careful.
@Olivia Wilson I don't think so. It's made me so apprehensive about everything I buy now. Even amazon is filled with drop shipping from wish and aliexpress so I research everything. It's exhausting but I don't want to take any chances.
@@jillianhubert6931 thats a smart thing to do. it seems very normalized these days to have harmful things in them everywhere, like flouride in water for example. its sad to me.
That little water dispenser would be great on a kids nightstand so at night when they do the "I'm thirsty" trick, they can just get a sip for themself and don't have to come out into the kitchen and try to stay up lol I love it
Keep in mind, if the price is too good to be true but the item is real, chances are it was made by either child labor or other shady means. That was the issue with wish and that's the issue with Shein. I don't expect Jaimie to have known that though.
I'm an AliExpress girl, and my rules for things is no beauty item that goes directly on your skin (different countries have different testing/quality standards for cosmetics), nothing edible or that you would eat from (possibility of lead/plastic/other nasty chemicals in your body) and no electronics that connect or plug into your personal devices, because those can very easily have some nasty bits on them that are now in your compy or phone. My most frequent purchases are sets of press on nails, cause I love wearing them but I am cheap and you can get really pretty ones for like $2. Also some pretty nice "replica" fjallraven bags and designer jewelry.
(1) counterfeit makeup and skincare can be incredibly dangerous. Always ALWAYS avoid buying. Many counterfeit eyeshadow, for example, are found to have levels of arsenic, and the quality will always be poor. If you want inexpensive, go to a drugstore or Target. (2) be careful with super inexpensive jewelry too. It can also have high levels of led and other dangerous metals.
You are the first person I have seen that did a Temu review that I told myself before I even hit play, now I’m gonna know if it’s ACTUALLY good like everyone else says it is. I don’t trust many people on here, but I hundred percent trust you. Thanks for the vid!
I feel like TEMU was created to sell the stuff that got stuck out in the middle of the ocean from all the cargo ships that couldn’t dock during COVID so it’s essentially selling stuff that had previously been bought…maybe 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤣🤣
I actually remember my previous workplace having that problem where the company decided to abandon like 3 big ass containers of furniture cuz they couldn't pay for the temporary dock. If I see those armchairs on Temu ngl I'm gonna die laughing😂
😂 it's honestly all of the same exact stuff Amazon sells. It's just WAY cheaper. But you get ripped off. The delivery service they use is some weird named company based on California. And if you try to call the driver who has your package... You might get told it's out of service or been disconnected. That's what happened to me.
I made the mistake of just creating an account for Temu (mind you, I haven't even bought anything yet!) And every hour or so I get spammed with texts for 'deals'. Even Shien and AliExpress aren't this aggressive when it comes to 'reminding you' of what's left in your cart. 😂
Maybe it's just me but that level of aggressiveness actually pushes me in the opposite direction, making me not want to order ANYTHING and I'll end up unsubscribing or blocking or something. It's just flips this switch in me where I'm like NO✋️
I said out loud "Oh that looks good!" and then she said she didn't like it.. haha such funny timing. It would probably look better on her as a crop top, though, like she said.
The issue with Temu is that they say that China or the country that owns it once you download the app it starts reading everything off your phone. Kinda of like tik tok. Also, most of that stuff is cheap and breaks quickly. Ofcourse everything seems to do that now a days.
Jaime I just wanna say that I love love love watching your videos. You just make me happy. I love waking up and watching you on my tv in the mornings. I love your personality and you're hilarious. Thanks for being you ❤️❤️
"Temu is gr8" "Si señora" As a Mexican American, this had me DEAD for some reason, idek😭😂 my humor is nuts & I just had to tell you that. Lol love you, Jaime❤ I click way too fast every time I see your vids. Thanks for this one🙏
Thank you for taking one for the team 🙏 😂 Temu was starting to suck me into looking at their website BUT I knew it was probably all too cheap to be true and your video proved me right although I'm loving the long hooded sweater coat!!
i got a kitchen aid food chopper like 20 years ago on clearance for 10 dollars and its still my go-to. probably the biggest win of my life was finding that on clearance.
I used to have a friend who was freaking obsessed with Temu. There is an MLM aspect to it that she kept pushing on me and everyone else. I tried it, didn't like it, and told her multiple times to stop sending me her links. Temu will forever be obnoxious to me now. Lol BUT I enjoy watching reactions to it. Lol
The overly encourage people to keep sharing the link... something I refuse to do to my friends. I buy for myself and a few things for my BFF and husband. That's about it. I like their quality of clothing. True to size fit.
I've used temu, I actually like it, so does my stepdaughter. All these people are saying that all this stuff would end up in landfills but at the end of day you have to be a wasteful person to start with. If i buy anything i use it till its basically useless. I always read the reviews on anything I buy. But at the end of the day everyone is different.
Yea those comments are annoying if you are buying stuff you don't need those people are still shopping at dollarstore and Walmart there's no difference. Some of us actually love and use the products we buy
The problem isn’t that the products are junk, even though they are; the problem is that they’re made using child labor in sweatshops. If you can buy stuff from sweatshops in good conscience, go ahead. Just don’t get mad when you get criticized when you freely admit to buying from sweatshops 🤷.
I literally signed up, filled my cart, and low key started having an anxiety attack with the purchase button. Cause the few negative reviews I read prior kept racing thru my mind and I refused to become a victim of Temus customer service. Ty for reading my mind with this review. The money gods where with me and saved me a headache and my dollars. Cappuccino Blast here I come 🍦 ☕ ☀️
I still wouldn’t support this company or any like them (shein, Ali express, etc.) It’s well known these companies that are usually based in China and sell extremely cheap products exploit their workers through slave labor & atrocious working conditions and the products are full of harmful chemicals. Not to mention because the products are so cheap and don’t last long, they’ll be sitting in landfills for thousands of years and they’re mass-produced at such a fast rate each company is an environmental disaster in itself.
I'm stuck at home due to some health problems and recently got talked into Temu by a friend. Honestly i have been impressed by everything i have ordered or the refund policy on the few things I ordered that didn't meet my expectations. Also, side note, just found your channel today and you have a new sub
Thanks for this! I LOVE your content, and how honest you are. I dig Temu...I have been using them since a few months after they started last year. I'm actually happy with the quality of everything I have purchased so far. I play the games and get the discounts and even do the whole ambassador link. To each their own. I'm not so worried about what everyone else thinks or does anymore. You'll never please everyone, so just live your life...nobody judging you, is gonna come live it for you.
They aren't trustworthy at the highest level, in that the products come from a country that pays slave wages and has actual slaves AND may be about to invade Taiwan just like Putin invaded Ukraine. However, 90% of the junk we buy comes from China, so is it any worse? I wish we could wean our country off cheap Chinese crap.
I appreciate it that you put any of your content, onto your channel you never know the actual amount of people who are doing good, and doing bad. It's easier to say things here. And get a more correct tally of people. I know a lot of people who wouldn't say anything because they're ashamed about stuff that has either happened or they done but will say it on the interwebs❤
Thank you for this video! This is just what I suspected. I have a coworker who is constantly buying crap from Temu & she’s always trying to convince me to order from Temu as well. So I got up this morning & was looking on the website and I was thinking,” This looks like dollar tree crap”. Then I just happened to come across your video (hey I just realized that- what a coincidence, huh? 😃) when I was trying to pull up my daily Spanish lesson video. Anytime I order off of anything (even we’ll known brand sites) I will always look at a bunch of reviews first. If something doesn’t have reviews or stars I usually pass. Because of this, I really haven’t had any problems with anything I’ve ordered yet.
One other thing, their stainless jewelry will turn you green if you wear it more than a day so don't buy it unless it's something you'll take off at the end of the night, I usually turn green within an hour but the temu stuff held out just over a day, I was pleasantly surprised at everything I bought, genuinely, mostly cleaning stuff like detail brushes, some kitchen gadgets and craft stuff, making another order in a few days for a purse they have that I Neeeeeeed lol and more kitchen stuff
I bought 3 rings, 2 pairs of sunglasses, a pink scraper thing that picks up pet hair, little “things” to control cords, earrings - there’s something else ??. Anyway the ring were all under $2 each and they are so nice I was shocked. Good weight, beautiful fake stones, really nice. The earring are the dark blue w a dragon fly in them - really pretty . Everything was actually better than I expected for the price . I’ve heard nothing but good things so I’ll be ordering again. The pet hair thing is a miracle ! The sunglasses were light but for the price they’ll do since I destroy them .
Jaime everything I’ve gotten on temu has been great, I’m obsessed with the site hahaha. Only complaint would be jewelry not being exactly like pictured but it’s close enough and for the price it’s expected. And the makeup is great quality too!

I just placed a small first order just to test them out. If I lose anything it won't be much on this first order. We'll see.
I have a love/hate relationship with my BlendJet...you can do frozen stuff but it gets caught in the blades REALLY easily. The trick is to do a little frozen fruit with about half liquid, get a kind of suspension going with a smoothie base for the rest of the fruit to sit in, then blend again. You can't overfill because the red ring of death will come on...just like when fruit gets stuck. It is annoying but great when it works. LOL

I think they are so cheap to buy in US because they have a headquarters in North Carolina. Fun fact: Ashton Kutcher used to be a product engineer and spokesman for Lenovo.
Same in EU. Lenovo is very popular.
Lenovo is not some unknown tech brand in the US. It's exactly the same. I had a Lenovo laptop.
My work computer is a Lenovo. We have around 30k employees. Works fine.
probably 90% of everything being bought on this site (and sites like this) is gonna be in landfills by this time next year. even if it seems like they have good deals/cute stuff, the life cycle of products like these is abysmal. Insanely cheap prices means sacrificing quality and people making these products are definitely not getting fair wages. man i really h8 how popular sites like these are ugh
:(
Especially with free shipping. People being gipped all around.
I don’t understand how sites like this are any different than dollar tree or stores similar to that or even Walmart - they all carry garbage that ends up in landfills.
👏👏👏👏👏
I hate it, websites and stores like these suck but now thrift stores are more if not more expensive than stores. My son was born with a heart condition so I’m home taking care of him and my husband is the only one working. Our family of 4 is struggling 😭😭
Agreed
I ordered a rechargeable lint remover. It was 6$ plus shipping. It never showed up. - I was told by a Chinese friend that I should test any kitchen items or items like tooth brushes & makeup ordered from Temu for lead. (Amazon sells lead testing kits - you rub a swab over the item and then use a few drops of a solution and the solution changes color if it detects lead) - I don’t know if we should actually be concerned, but I’m buying a lead testing kit anyway to test flea market and thrift store items. Thanks for this video. Glad your products arrived.
Plot twist, the lead tester came from Temu
Amazon is just as bad! It's just another company 😂😂😂
Temu ended up in many lawsuits because of selling bank details
Is it really worth it though? Why not buy the brushes from a local store and be done
I couldn't care less about TEMU, but I will watch anything Jamie does. I mean, we get to see a bird shopping and a Nick catwalk. What's not to love
Yes! I've definitely been thinking "sketchballcity" about temu since I first saw them, but I'll watch Jaime watch grass grow so....
Thank you for saying "couldn't care less" instead of could 😂
Couldn't agree more!
AND TAMMY
When you said "Just do your research before buying from a company like this"
I was like "? Watching this video IS my research" 😂
@@Atlasintokyo honestly you can't always find everything you need in both of those
What’s even more amazing is that on my first order I decided I didn’t like one outfit - that cost like 12 bucks - so I clicked for a refund, and they were like “yeah this shit’s too cheap to bother with. Y’all just keep it and here’s your money back.” Hard to argue with that.
Do u recommend then ?
most companies do this. i’ve heard stories of people accidentally getting expensive shit from Amazon and Amazon says to just keep it.

And the workers who make this stuff work in sweatshops.

Fast fashion has made people think that our (garment workers) labor should be dirt cheap or free. I hate it. I always tell customers that the reason their alterations are more expensive than the dress is because I'm making a living wage, meanwhile the people overseas that assembled the garment very well might not be🙃

I literally could watch anything you put out. You make everything so entertaining! I appreciate you.
Imo if things are being made/sold that cheap, there is likely people being abused at the bottom line. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. 😞
Or they're overstock from somewhere. Maybe a bunch of stuff from failed businesses or emptying warehouses.
@@GopherCakeStuff they are selling the same overproduced products as places like AliExpress and shein. there's no way it's simply overstock.
Overstock is also exploitation wake up
@Gabriel Hamsi just thought overstock is people selling unbought trash that is already sitting around somewhere. Not saying people aren't being exploited but there are tons of warehouses already full of this sorts of stuff and companies make tons of money selling it to people thinking they're getting a bargain when they're just getting old models of stuff.
yep. someone always pays.
It being really cheap probably means they are using cheap material, which sometimes have chemicals in/on them that are toxic to us. The laws about what materials can and can't be used are different in other countries, so something like lead could be present in any product
Lead is present in American made products as well which is abysmal
Almost everything you own down to your cell phone was probably made in a sweatshop

(Depending on how stout the onion is, sometimes I have to repeat the process 1 more time), but generally, it works on the 1st time
Genius
I just rub my metal sink
Or rub metal tap
Lemon is also great.
Rub a spoon under running water, that works, too!

I will say that the stuff does always show up and the customer service is really good
If your package is late they give you $5 in credit which rocks
I'm sure you will get a ton of comments about this so I will start by saying (*)I love your content and your personality.(*) However the bad thing about TEMU is that it's in the business of selling so much single use plastic, poor quality products made with harsh chemicals, that's why everything is dirt cheap, trendy clothes made poorly you may wear once or twice.

My most frequent purchases are sets of press on nails, cause I love wearing them but I am cheap and you can get really pretty ones for like $2. Also some pretty nice "replica" fjallraven bags and designer jewelry.
Yeah exactly! Sites like that are great for accessories like hair clips and, bags, and jewelry but anything else nah probably not safe/bad quality
(1) counterfeit makeup and skincare can be incredibly dangerous. Always ALWAYS avoid buying. Many counterfeit eyeshadow, for example, are found to have levels of arsenic, and the quality will always be poor. If you want inexpensive, go to a drugstore or Target.

I'm not so worried about what everyone else thinks or does anymore. You'll never please everyone, so just live your life...nobody judging you, is gonna come live it for you.
You're not worried about the lead that could be in those products?
I shop on Temu and have been very happy with my purchases
Oh em gee. That mini water jug dispenser is PERFECT for when your American Girl dolls have to go into the office!
YAAAAAAAASSSSSSS!!! IVE BEEN WANTING A VIDEO ON TEMU!! I've been wanting to know if they're trustworthy. THANK YOU JAIME! 😭❤️
They probably abuse their employees. I wouldn't be too quick to purchase anything from there.
Look up the Illuminati channel where she talks about Temu and their business practices
So well I have learned 2 things from you today: 1) trust my gut instinct about shady websites & 2) try Babbel for learning a new language. Thanks Jaime French!
I loved the fashion show we got from Nick! You guys have to do more videos together!
Your channel is my new favorite thing. Anytime of day, but especially when I need a break from all the nonsense and politics on the internet 😂 I thank you for taking the time to make these videos to brighten my day 🎉
The amount of Hours I have spent on Shein and Temu is alarming and I have never purchased a thing. But I can't help looking because they have literally everything lol 🤦🏼♀️ Those damn Toast eyeshadow Pallettes are so adorable and I do want them!
I was addicted to wish for a while. A few products I still use from them but overall turned out to be junk. Temu is trying to suck me into the pits of bargain online shopping....won't fall for it this time!
I dont normaly watch this brand of youtube vids.... but for so e reason some how i happened across your videos. And well. Your brand of humor just cracks me up. So here i am. Llmao
Omg my mom literally just got her TEMU package like 10 minutes ago and she got me some drawers 😭
Edit: I meant like drawers for My desk lol
lmaooo
😂😂😂 i love that lmaooo
Is the quality alright?
😂😂😂
wash them first
Thank you for adding some spice to your sponsored part of the video with that casual Napoleon Dynamite reference 😆
The irony of getting a Temu mid roll ad. 🤦🏻♀️
You’re my new favorite creator. This is beautiful.
Thanks girly! I got the babble app! I’ve been needing to learn Spanish for my job as a face painter and it’s been on my mind to learn it. The universe sent me to you to send me there lol
I have wanted one of those little water dispensers for my micellar water in my bathroom. And Lenovo is a real brand, so Im shocked they have them but not surprised they worked. Surprised they started messing up though. I have a Lenovo laptop and I can't kill that thing lol. And obviously Nick should be in modeling
My Lenovo laptop was killed by the Windows 10 download in July 2018. I had it for like 10 years and a stupid download broke it. I'm still salty. I loved that laptop!
It’s not really Lenovo.
China does not do licensing laws.
It's not Lenovo, it just stole the branding. All the brand stuff these sites sell are fake.
I have a real Lenovo laptop and love it
It's le No.
I read some complaints that said to be sure to watch your credit card statement because some mysterious charges have been known to appear from them. Also complaints about orders getting lost.
LOL
fast fashion is killing us all and the earth, just sayin
