Thank you. As a nurse, I am concerned with how a prescription drug becomes so popular. I'm glad it works for some people... But it's a DRUG, and it will not work universally for all people. You also talked a lot about how you continued to communicate with, and work with your doctor. People need to hear that. I'm sorry it was so awful for you.

Because of the amount of titration that takes place… most people continue communication with their doctors.

So sorry ozempic didn't work for you. I have been on it for almost 2 yrs I think with a 70 lb weight loss !! Normal BS, A1C normal, off insulin. Have had gastric issues off and on but not quite bad enough to go off ozempic ! My neighbor also has has good success but her sister was on it and , like you, saw no benefit of weight loss. I do think of it as an amazing drug and again, so sorry for your experience 😬

Hey, Jaime. I “lost control” I say delicately coming up the steps of the subway on 42nd St. in New York City. It was summer so no coat, wearing a dress. all I had was my transit pass. I went to a nearby building and asked the guards to use the bathroom which they refused. I started to cry and the older guard took me to a ladies room and stood guard outside so nobody could come in. I still pray for him and his kindness.

Hi Serene. Mine isn’t ozempic related but I wanna make you feel better about yourself. So I did that once at Walmart - my stomach was off. I have lots of back and forth between sprinkler and cement truck - at that time I was in love with a certain soup that i shouldve ran away from… at work anyways- thank god this was 2006 and thick velour track suits were in style. And I had a nice one in chocolate brown. I had just moved into a new place and needed sheets. I had no couch yet and the floor needed new carpet. No other options. I don’t sleep on my brand new mattress with no sheets right??? Let’s go to the store with the shitz. So ok I’m not feeling good. It’s 5am and I am dead tired…. I’m in Walmart- the super huge one. And On my way to the bedding section which used to be way way in the back I feel the need …. The need for speeding to the nearest bathroom except I had to squeeze my cheeks so hard. I was sweating. I was there forever and someone came into the aisle. So I said ok. Go to the bathroom in the back. As soon as I took a step I shit myself. All down my legs. I went to the bathroom. Cleaned my legs. Tossed the undies. Went shopping for sheets. Stood in line smelling like diarrhea and then put down plastic bags in the car and drove home. I told my roommate and she listened said 😳🫣🤫. And went into her room

I'm so sorry. My husband was on it for about 2 years. It has DESTROYED his stomach and intestines. He took it for pre diabetes. He lost weight yes, but it was not worth it. As soon as he stopped, which everyone eventually has to, he gained it all back then some. He has horrible spastic colon and paralyzed stomach. Pain almost every day. It was and is horrible. Cannot leave for anywhere without knowing where a bathroom is. Doctors are prescribing this to everyone. Think twice people.

My Mom passed away from diabetes complications as a young adult. I'm at high risk so I took Mounjaro for like 2 weeks and then got scared because the food would not get digested. I would taste last night's meal the next day so then I just decided not to eat solids only protein shakes. I stopped bc I was scared of getting gastroparesis at the lowest dose. I COULD NOT imagine going up in dose.

My husband was on Ozempic for two years for type 2 diabetes. He slowly turned into a sad, anxious little man.
A couple of months ago, there was an Ozempic shortage so the doctor switched him to Rybelsus. It has the same main ingredient as Ozempic which is semaglutide. Within a couple of weeks, my poor husband was so panicky he could barely function. I told him my findings about semaglutide and mood changes and he quit cold turkey. Four weeks later he's feeling much better but isn't completely out of the woods yet. I hope and pray he will make a full recovery and that those drugs haven't made permanent changes to his brain.

When you don’t eat super healthy AND workout, you don’t get all that you need.
You will become anxious and sad and other things when you are being malnourished
It’s sucks because I’ve been on all the sides of this medication and
      It’s very delicate
      It’s a balance
If you aren’t all in and keeping up with water in take, same routine and same simple foods everyday
      This is where troubles begin
I am all over the place, the first time I took it I was doing SO GOOD
my husband got laid off so I wasn’t able to eat like I was before and it was making me so sad I didn’t go workout
      I started again and I didn’t
Have the tools(food) I needed, we were so broke!
It messed me up so bad!!!!
Either you’re ready and all in or don’t do it , it’s seriously our life change and it’s not a miracle drug you have to put in the work and you have to be consistent day and day out for as long as it takes
It’s hard to explain to everyone, but I’ve been on all sides of Ozempic before I started, after I started, I was successful, and I had the worst experience, because I am so inconsistent. Moneywise I Olympic is not for me
Sometime in the future, when I am able to get food that I need to be successful

Jaime I am seeing you for the first time!!! Nice to meet you. I am a registered nurse and so many coworkers are taking Ozempic. I had to try it and had negative effects. I do not have any of the conditions you have but had tremendous gastric and gut pain. Like you, I continued to talk myself into believing it was my fault, my diet, my body, until one day my pain felt like pancreatitis, pain, so intense, went around to my back; I called in sick to work and I finally went off of it. I did lose 25 lbs, but gained 10 back as soon as I went off. After a couple months Ozempic free and am now on Mounjaro day 3. So far so good and no gastric upset. As far as the insomnia, I used to say I will never be able to sleep, but it will happen for you. Love yourself, be kind to yourself and slow down. I believe a lot of weight is stress related. I don't mean to preach and say all with love, but I am 60 and rest much better since I am older. I will pray you rest well and sleep. Much love and God Bless you sweetie. Love your open honest genuine freedom. What a gift.

Long time viewer! I wanted to add something I think would be important.
I work in clinical research and was working on a study for this specific drug. The one thing that was repeated over and over at the conferences, meetings, study guides, etc. was that it causes GI issues for most users. In order to maintain the best possible results for the drug, we had to coach our participants on diet, exercise, and *honesty*. We encouraged (not forced, but it was HIGHLY encouraged) our subjects to avoid spicy foods and follow a healthy diet. We offered “goodie bags” with materials that helped them as their trial progressed. It was VERY important that we took time to explain the GI side effects and they gave us every measure on how to reduce them if a participant began having them. I do not think it should be so widely available because it is a longterm and sometimes lifelong commitment. A lot of people gain weight back after stopping. It’s hard seeing everyone receive this drug so casually when in reality it should be handled with great care. Thank you for being so transparent!! All that glitters is not gold!

How long did the trial last? I was on it due to what my dr said..which was inaccurate, insulin resistance.. I never suffered from uti or thyroid pain until I was 3 months into the treatment. My sister began having thyroid pain and she had some growth on it, now she has to take euterox. I questioned it and stopped the second I started literally peeing blood. It is a serious drug and has serious side effects. I am beyond shocked at how this is easily purchased and self diagnosed by people for weightloss (and I see even family members taking this just to lose 20lbs) this is dangerous and needs to be controlled for only people who are candidates for it.

Thank you for sharing your story. Five weeks ago, my endocrinologist put me on the drug to lose weight and control my blood sugar. I too have thyroid issues and type 2 diabetes and other medical issues. Day 2 after taking the injection I started with the severe nausea, every single day with feelings of being unwell all of the time. Called the office and was assured that the nausea would go away by week four. Not! Vomiting started along with the nausea. My appetite was gone, and my morning blood sugars was in the 50's and 60's. I could only eat very small meals. I lost only 8 pounds in 5 weeks. I did not take the 5th week dose of the increase to 0.5mg. I see the doctor next month and will tell him then that I will not be taking any more of that drug. I may be fat, but I've lived this long, I'm 67, so I'll die fat with no nausea and vomiting. For those that take it without problems and lose weight, good for you. For those who have problems, I really feel for you.

I had a friend with PCOS (who sadly passed away very young in an unrelated accident) and I remember she was always on diets and exercising, and trying so hard to stay in shape, but the PCOS made it incredibly hard for her to stay at a healthy weight, no matter how diligent she was. Jaime pretty much said the same thing in the video. It’s one thing to have self-love and acceptance, but it’s another to want to manage a health condition and be at the weight you want to be. Chronic illness is incredibly hard, especially with comorbitity. That said, medical professionals, friends, and family memeber really need to listen to the feelings of the chronically i’ll and not dismiss them or talk them into a medication that is obviously doing them harm or has awful side effects.

I dunno, y'all... I AM FAT-PHOBIC for myself, in my OWN body, because it's self centered fear only. I was born in '85, 6'1", and had to sew her own clothes because XL wasn't large enough. Kate Moss was the icon then. I know it's not my fault and I know it's unhealthy to fear your body, but I think a "phobia" is a new Vocab term for me, for myself at least.
I don't give 2 💩 about OTHER peoples' bodies TBH. I actually get triggered by people trying to lose body fat because they often don't need to, but I have to be delicate about if I'll be authentic with them or not.

So sorry your sister has gone through so much. People don’t understand how horrible gastroparesis is & I don’t think believe it could happen to them. The reason there is a lack of appetite is because the food you ate just sits in your stomach. You will eventually have to throw it all up or it will move through the intestines very quickly & cause very watery diarrhea. That means no nutrients have time to be absorbed. Weight loss, loss of strength & electrolytes are messed up. Dangerous drug imo.

@@priscillaflores7656 I'm glad that this is your story, but you can't use that to beat it over people's heads. While being in a calorie deficit or surplus determines whether you'll lose or gain weight and the law of thermodynamics explains this, it doesn't account for the things that affect whether someone can get into a deficit/surplus. Having PCOS can reduce your metabolic rate by up to 700 calories. And this may take time, there are countless stories of young women who were thin but hairy as teenagers when they first got their diagnoses, but as they got older and the metabolic symptoms of PCOS kicked in like increased insulin resistance and decreased metabolic rate, they packed on the weight. One of the things that helps doctors diagnose the condition is significant weight gain.
On the other hand, I have experience with a mild form of hyperthyroidism that really won't give me other symptoms except heat sensitivity and dropping 30+ lbs in six months without changing my intake. And I understand that to be because my metabolic rate increased because of this condition. So it's not all about behaviours. You can even see Jaime here talking about being on a 300-400 calorie deficit from her usual intake on this drug, but still losing very little after several weeks. It isn't about "excuses".

    • @sdc4089
      @sdc4089 Рік тому +54

@@priscillaflores7656 good for u. But hyperthyroidism isn’t the same as PCOS or Cushing’s or Prader Willi’s syndrome, etc. Instead of assuming people aren’t taking accountability ask yourself what makes you feel comfortable enough to tell another person on the internet what they’re doing wrong without knowing their medical history? Some people DO gain weight for no reason and end up having to see a professional after trying counting calories and learning about nutrition. It’s how many people end up getting tests and later a diagnosis.

My doctor is trying to convince me to go on Ozempic. It's been 40 years of eating disorders, dieting and recovery. Know why I want to lose weight? I've looked deeply into this since I stopped obsessing over my body. It's not because I think fat people are less attractive, it's not because I hate my body. I dealt with any fatphobia in my head a loooooong time ago. It's not even for health reasons - my numbers (save for BMI) are perfect. I live a healthy and active life. It's only and entirely because when you're fat, a majority of people treat you like absolute, literal, worthless dogsh*t. There's no escape. It's all the time.
I'll take your experience into consideration, because most reviews just seemed too... positive. I'll admit I don't have digestive issues and might not be as likely to have trouble, but it's worth paying attention to how I feel if I do try it out. Much later. After the shortage is dealt with.

I tried it twice within half a year and stopped both times after one pen, because I felt as if my intestines were imploding, I didn’t lose any weight, I felt sick and literally masochistic, even with the whole needle-thing. It’s painful and it made me feel as if I am more sick than I actually am. Anyway, my point is that the third doctor that suggested it to me was „really surprised“ that I had such a bad experience. When you mentioned "quieting the voice" I felt like you were the only person I have ever heard that understands that voice like someone telling you to "eat it" over and over until you finally give in and then I feel like crap after I do. It's so hard and most people don't understand that at all when I say it's like someone in my head telling me to do it, crazy as that sounds. It would be amazing to shut that voice up for good. Thank you for understanding that and letting me realize there are others who feel the same way. It helps more than you could ever know.

I have the same thing. It’s a part of Binge Eating Disorder. It sucks. For me, I am at the point where just not gaining weight each week is progress.
But, I really need to lose weight to be healthier. I need to not only be there for my small kids, but I need to interact and get in the floor and play with them, too. Which is hard right now.
Once I hit 200 I REALLY felt it. Energy decreased (even more than it already was) walking harder, and even just the way my arms rested away from my body. I also have a bad back and heart disease and I know this is just further straining it.
It’s hard, but it is important to do everything we can to be better and be healthier. Stay strong! ❤

I tried the hormone suppressing drug Lupron as a last step before getting a hysterectomy because of gnarly endometriosis. That was the first time since I was a kid that I didn't hear that little voice saying "eat it!". Being on Lupron was so scary because of the hideous side effects and how it takes over your whole body, but it was neat seeing how other people live. Nothing bothered me or made me worry, I had a neutral measured response to everything, my energy levels were constant, and I only ate for practical reasons. I was like "ooohhh now I understand how my husband and dad and brothers move through life..."
We are not weak or strong, we are what our hormones tell us to be!

The issue that isn’t being discussed: your digestion is directly related to your mental health, hormones , and so many other things: on one hand we have “gut health” as a huge trend and on the other hand we have a drug that makes people constipated as the miracle drug.

    • @starryeyedtarot8876
      @starryeyedtarot8876 Рік тому +30

The gut/mind connection is REAL. I'm on the other side of the spectrum, so to speak. My BMI is just below healthy at 17.7. I've had severe anxiety and panic disorders since childhood, but they've worsened as I've gotten older. I'm on meds and therapy to manage my symptoms, and well! But the only problem left is my inability to eat. So many people make assumptions about why I'm as slender as I am, and they *really* hurt. I worry if I'll ever be able to enjoy food again. This eating thing started almost right when lockdown happened. I try so hard to eat the food and consume the calories I need, but it's damn-near impossible when your guts are doubled-over with anxiety. Being a human with a body is hard.

I understand what you mean about how it’s hurtful that people will accuse us of not eating on purpose or having disorders we don’t have :/ I think people need to understand that disordered eating is not always one of the named eating disorders. I work in a Diabetes clinic, with people who have diabetes. Before this I worked for an Endocrinologist who worked with people with insulin resistance who did not have diabetes along with all the other disease states in the endocrine realm.
Ozempic is the same drug as Wegovy, Wegovy is just a higher dosage specifically for weight loss. Rybelsus is the exact same drug as Ozempic, just in an oral form.
Maunjaro is a slightly different molecule, with a slightly different acting mechanism but that produces similar results.
As with any medication there will be people who have side effects, some mild, some major.
There is no longer a supply shortage as Lilly opened a manufacturing plant here in the US specifically to produce Ozempic and the supply chain issues have also been sorted out.
Maunjaro is currently undergoing trials to get put on the market as a weight loss medication as well.
More and more the medical community is coming to see that being overweight is actually a disease state for many people that 'diet and exercise' just won't 'cure'.
Many people that are helped with these medications to get to a 'healthy' weight (and I am putting these in quotations because to a certain extent weight is a societal issue that we absolutely need to work on but until then these medications can help those who don't want to deal with the stares and the judging, anymore.) will need to stay on these medications in a maintenance mode just like people with diabetes often have to take some form of medication for life. The same for high blood pressure, high cholesterol, chronic pain, arthritis, etc.
    Again.
There will always be people these will not work for but we need to stop shaming people (and I am in no way intimating that you are) for choosing medication as a way to control and maintain weight because it absolutely is a disease state just as real as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, lupus, etc.
Also, it is important here to note that despite what her title says, she didn't take Ozempic. She was taking something from a compound pharmacy, and though the active ingredient is the same, those inactive ingredients do have an effect on the body and can also cause side effects. For her, though, I will say that she is probably one of the unfortunate people who just had a strong negative reaction to the medication. It can happen. In my clinic it's about 5% of our patients that we've tried it on who either can't take it at all or who are limited to the lowest dose.
Thank you, Jaime for sharing your story and bringing awareness to yet another tool people can use if it works for them in our fight for physical and mental health, as well as the risks that all medications and treatments can have.

I work in pharmacy, and I'm genuinely concerned that no one knew about the digestive/gastrointestinal/gallbladder/shitting side effects. After feedback from our first few patients about it, and a staff member being on a different semaglutide product, it's the first thing that our pharmacists warn people about when they start the therapy. Doctors need to know better about what they prescribe. If they are going to keep refusing to listen to pharmacists, then they need to become more well-versed themselves
Edit: I do want to clarify, for most (from what I've seen) those side effects do go away over time. But any medication like this is bound to have at least one negative side effect, but with everything our sweet gal has dealt with in her health, I am unfortunately not surprised that it was not a good fit :(

Fellow PCOS sufferer here. I have also been on the struggle bus for years with my weight. It took seeing 3 different doctors to finally get one to run my blood tests just to get the pcos diagnosis (which I was pretty sure I had after watching an episode of Criminal Minds, of all things!)
Documenting my food (not just in writing, but in pictures) is what finally got doctors to listen to me about caloric deficit not working.
I'm getting older, and while I'm happy with who i am and what i look like, my knees are wearing out.
My current doctor perscribed ozempic, but the insuance denied it. Now they are locked in a battle to the death over wether or not i need it.
I appreciate you posting this. I'm hoping it all works out, but if i do take it, and things go poorly, I'm probably less likely to gaslight myself in the future. ❤

I need to lose about 70 pounds. I am working with a doctor and I tracked food intake recently for a few weeks. I just naturally take in about 900-1200 calories a day (I was not trying to be in a calorie deficit- just what I naturally eat) I work out heavily 2x a week and walk a ton the other days.
So my doctor looked at me and said that I need to eat less calories than I currently am. I was not expecting that - I was expecting him to realize that overeating is not the issue)

Me being a nurse and professor, I knew the weight gain was only a symptom of an underlying illness. I refused to take it and have since found out that I was right.

I needed this message. I've been working with a nutritionist for close to a year now and started Ozempic 8 months ago? I feel so seen by your experience... I've been justifying staying on a semaglutide because of the desperate want that it would be the 'miracle' for me that it is for so many others. While I love the appetite repression (not thinking about food is amazing) I have so many negative side effects including the stomach ones. I have been avoiding activities in case there's an 'urgency' to get to a toilet. My emotions have been unpredictable. I've honestly never felt worse if I am actually being honest with myself and I've lost nothing but my personal peace and comfort. It's a really hard pill to swallow and it's made me... angry with myself because there are so many success stories and I was the one failing. The amount of shame I've dumped on myself has pushed me backwards on my mental health journey. I've not been transparent with my nutritionist or therapist because I kept justifying reasons to not tell them and your video today.... it just cut through my bullsh*t.
I could say so much more because you spoke so many of my own truths - but I will leave it with just, Thank you, Jaime. The transparency of what you were willing to share has at minimum helped me and I am grateful. I know there is a solution for us and I know that it won't take breaking our bodies physically and mentally and emotionally to get there. Thank you for checking my reality and bringing me back to center.

Thyroid weight is so weird and it feels like someone else’s body most of the time. Hey!! I’m on Ozempic… for diabetes, with very minimal issues… and I’m thankful! I’ve seen the gradual weight loss since going up to 2 mg. Sadly, I am one of those who had a big gap in taking my meds because of the increased use of the drug for weight loss… that seems to have resolved, thankfully!
I have always had issues losing weight. Only two things have worked for me: intermittent fasting (I currently do this) and seeing a nutritionist who gave me instructions to eat 6 mini meals daily… drink my water… and gave me fat and calorie boundaries… She told me to eat my first mini meal no later than 30 minutes after getting up with at least 8 oz of water….and to eat no sooner than two and a half, but no longer than three hours apart. Nothing after 7pm.
I lost 15 pounds the first month. She told me my metabolism was lazy (😂🤣) and I had to eat to get it going again. It worked… but it took a ton of meal prep… I ate a lot of fresh veggies, nuts and proteins. No caloric drinks between meals.

i take ozempic and i really appreciate my doctors approach to it. normally you increase the dose after 4 weeks but she instead decided to only increase when side effects became tolerable. this took me 3-4 months between each dose increase. at the time i was frustrated because I wanted to increase my dose right away, but looking back i’m glad she did it this way. she also made me regularly visit an endocrinologist to discuss my symptoms and figure out how best to minimize them. i found that modifying my diet became crucial. basically no high fat, nothing spicy or overly acidic. making sure to get enough fiber and protein. only eating when i’m hungry and not forcing myself to eat. if i wasn’t hungry i would drink protein shakes to make sure i was still fueling my body. eating what i was most excited to eat off my plate first to satisfy the emotional part of my hunger. i can’t say i’m 100% without side effects now after being on ozempic for a year, but i’ve learned how to minimize them with diet modifications. it’s been very hard and i can totally see why people struggle with it. the side effects can be intense. it’s not for everyone and i wish celebrities who use it off label would at least admit to it and be honest about their experience so that people don’t get their hopes up about this “miracle” drug and then suffer the consequences of the intense side effects. i can’t blame anybody for not liking their experience on it. it’s a very personal choice to make and i hate seeing it romanticized as some miracle drug when in reality it comes with serious risks. i’m happy to say i’ve lost 70 pounds while on ozempic and i don’t plan on stopping my usage of it. my hope is that more doctors and patients are transparent about the reality of the drug and it’s side effects. i really appreciate seeing videos like these because it validates my experience. ozempic is just not for everyone and that’s okay!

Her doctor told her she shouldn't be on it longer than 3 months since it's a controlled substance, but my doctor says I would need to be on it for the rest of my life if I start. What did your doctor tell you about going off of it?

I already know it won't work for me. The drug acts on Orexin neurons in the brain, which regulate appetite, sleep, and metabolism, and I have Narcolepsy, meaning my immune system killed of most of my Orexin neurons, so I'd be a non-responder. I can relate to the struggle of gaining no matter how little you eat. I'm in the same boat and am trying to shift my focus to increasing strength to feel better in my body no matter what size it is because muscle mass I can control. Weight I apparently cannot. May as well focus on the things I actually do have control over instead of spinning my wheels, right? I'm sorry ozempic didn't work for you, but you're not alone. I know PCOS is a struggle for sure. I'm a Neuroscientist and used to do Neuroendocrinology research in a lab that studied PCOS, so you have my empathy. Our PCOS mice would gain weight even though they were eating the same food as their wildtype siblings. They could end up twice as big as a regular mouse just by existing. They were my cutie pies tho! Apparently PCOS mutations affect fat cells, too. I know it sucks, but hang in there. It's not your fault. You're not doing anything wrong, your body just works differently than other people's. Mine does, too. Hopefully you can find some positive ways to honor your body despite the health setbacks. You deserve happiness and peace. ♥

My NP at the gynecologist told me “just go KETO” 🙄 it’s crazy to me that a nurse practitioner at a gynecologist’s office thinks that women with PCOS just eat a lot when that’s never been an issue with me, it’s actually the opposite I have no appetite (because i have autoimmune issues and eating/digesting food is painful) yet I gain weight and getting pregnant didn’t help the situation

Pcos used to be so hard to come by. I am an avid learner of this stupid disease? and I have never heard of the mouse study until the last few months. Dr's should educate themselves better. IMO.

I've been focusing on my health, and as such have lost over 150 lbs so far just with diet and exercise. I'm steadily losing, and just have a little more to go. Even after so much work and success, my MD continues to insist I go on it. It's insanity! Thank you, as always, for being so wonderful and open. Given my own experience, it's really being pushed in an inappropriate and irresponsible way.

Holy shit, 150 Ibs???? Are you fucking kidding me that’s AMAZING! I really wish I had the motivation to lose THAT much weight. I remember before COVID I lost 40-60 pounds and then gained all of it back and more over the years after. I’ve never felt more insecure and my binge-eating doesn’t help. Hearing stories like yours just make me want to prove myself wrong and that I am capable of making changes.
Anyways your are amazing truly and that medical “professional” is literally crazy.

Thank you SO MUCH for sharing your experience!!!! Im a registered nurse, and my company recently started advertising these weight loss drugs, flashing on all of our computer sceans (when idle) was advertising how "Now Trinity Health Offers Coverage for Ozempic, etc." Im a huge food lover, lol....but i was able to lose the weight I wanted to lose using the keto diet and intermittent fasting. It was HARD, but after i stuck to it for 2 weeks, it was like nothing!
Im so sorry you had a bad experience!! Soooooooo many people have been having this exact experience. I commend you for speaking on it❤❤❤

    Loved the video!
I’m a health care professional and have seen a big increase in clients on this med and I would say 90% of them go off of it after 6-8 weeks due to the GI side effects. It’s definitely not for everyone and very expensive, it helps people get their A1C down and with the hype from TikTok it made long term patients have a hard time getting it. Hopefully people bringing more awareness to the side effects can help settle down the demand.

I read that the shortage was not of the drug/active ingredients, but the injection pen. Hence the ability of a compounding pharmacy to provide same dosage more readily and at lower cost. The patient would then need to measure their own dosage into a syringe. (for whatever reason, people do not seem to be very good at dosing a syringe themselves). I hear her mentioning that she was going in to an office for her injection, so maybe a health care professional was measuring and administering the dose.

The “hype from Tik Tok” is almost always the compounded form which is not what diabetics are in short supply from, so this comment is basically false. You literally cannot get an Rx for name brand Ozempic unless you’re diabetic. So much misinformation

I’ve seen so many PCOS ladies lost a pile of weight with GLP-1s. I’m on Mounjaro, i don’t have the horrible side effects that Jaime experienced. It’s more being constipated in my case, but I’ve been constipated my whole life it’s just worse on Ozempic. Avoiding fatty food and eating small meals several times a day helped a LOT with the side effects. In my support group everyone takes Mag07 for the constipation.

Get rid of that doctor. He's nothing more than a drug pusher. I bet he makes some great kickbacks on all the drugs he pushes.
