You are the first creator I've heard explicitly mention the fact that so many cream/liquid bronzers now are dewy/tacky/never set down and that it's not necessarily a desirable finish when it comes to bronzer. This is the exact feeling I've had for the past year - given how much of my face I apply bronzer to, the last thing I want is to apply something to my face and have my hair, dirt, and/or random fuzzies floating around sticking to it all day! As always, appreciate your insights and your work!!
I agree as well. I touch my face so much that I look nuts by 5pm. I have found the Rose Inc bronzer in the second to lightest shade is nice and doesn’t move so much. RIP Rose Inc.
so many cream/liquid products and this seems to not be mentioned much if at all. So far i have just 2 chanel cream bronzer and the armani luminous silk liquid and both those dry down so i can apply a powder blush over, OR the rare beauty liquid blush.
The Makeup by Mario skin enhancer is amazing for people with very fair skin because it sheers out in a very natural way. It doesn’t really look like makeup just a healthy color. Very beautiful for pale skin and not orange. Also I think very fair skin can wear the light medium shade too if they want slightly more.
I love the rare beauty sticks, especially with the release of new shades. It blends wonderfully without erasing the colour. It's lightwear and non-sticky. I hate sticky makeup.
I found my Mario and Fenty bronzing stick faded away on my dry skin. Bought the two Faced chocolate one but use a brush to apply it rather than swiping directly on my face. Lasts much longer.
Friends I have a dupe for the Mario skin enhancer . It’s the Physician Formula Mineral Wear Diamond bronzer . It sheers out beautifully just like the Mario Skin Enhancer .
The NARS cream bronzer in Laguna 01 is the only cream bronzer I’ve tried that isn’t orange on me. Currently loving the RMS Beachwalk Betty bronzer since it’s a powder and the weather is warmer.
@@KayaTogo I use the Makeup By Mario F1 brush with the bronzer. I will pick up a little bit of product (because it’s very pigmented) with the brush and swirl it on the back of my hand to work it into the bristles before putting it on my face. Are you applying it over powder or under?
I love these videos! You take the time to be really thorough and describe color AND formula. As someone who usually shops makeup online, it's so helpful! I got excited and grabbed the Saie Dew Bronze in Salt, which is the cooler shade for fair folks. I'm waiting for it to come and I've kept kicking myself that maybe I should've gotten the Sand one or just a totally different bronzer. I'm glad you are enjoying yours and now I know it's not gonna be too glowy or pigmented since I'm even lighter than you lol. So many videos are just first impressions or quick reaction videos, which are fun but not helpful like yours are ❤
As I always say, your reviews are outstanding. You are a hard worker and I appreciate you. ❤ You are a beautiful young lady. I am in my last 50’s and love make up. Keep up the good work Amanda 🤗
The Iconic London one is my HG mix in for my base. I wear the Missha Perfect Cover BB cream (the red one) together they make the perfect consistency/cover for my skin and cancels out the grey without adding too much warmth + it customises the shade year round. I have now stopped trying to find a foundation that does this on its own, as this is so great, and the combo isn’t too expensive together.
In defense of milk, I have the contour stick in toasted. It may look tiny, but it has more product than say the Mario skin enhancer. I’m going through the milk wayyy slower than I did the Mario
Totally agree - I blew through the MbM Skin Enhancer but the Milk sticks last a surprisingly long time, in part because they are more pigmented so you don't need to use as much product.
I just bought the MBM serum hoping it might last longer than the enhancer. I just hit pan on the enhancer and it took about 3 weeks 😮. It’s so beautiful though 😢
Impressive video! My fave bronzers are phytosurgence 1-4; gucci fair and CT fair. I bet you’d like the phytosurgence. Especially with their newer formula.
Phytosurgence Cream Bronzer in 02 Rosy Daybreak is absolutely beautiful and NOT orange. At all. They have more rosy toned ones. And yellow toned ones. The Mario stick pulls orange on me. Many do. But that phyto bronzer doesn’t. It is stiff. But I don’t mind that. HIGHLY SUGGEST IT for fair/cool folks. Uoma cream bronzer in white pearl is a nice runner up to the phyto - but not as perfect, for me. The milk sculpt stick in toasted is another favorite for me. I also enjoy the revolution beauty cream bronzer in fair or light. Not sure which I have. The lightest shade for sure. Just chiming in with my faves ❤
I love mixing the liquid Physicians Formula bronzer with my foundation but it’s also amazing to mix in with body lotion! It’s a great fix for throwing on shorts and realizing you’re a bit STARK lol. Gives me glow and a slight bronze (not overly noticeable) ❤ They’re new bronzing drops are great too for the same things!

I think they can look orange but show up differently on each person's skin depending upon whether you are warm or cool-toned, pale, light, medium, or deep.
I think the coloring may be a little warm also. Noticed it on the newest video also. I’ve seen many of these and it does look like they are leaning more warm here
I agree about the fenty stick formula! It's so good! I love the contour in amber. (So much that I'm almost out!) Thanks for the video. It would have been nice to see you swatch even the fails (Maybelline). Here I was feeling bad because I have seven cream bronzers... Curious what you might think of the ColourPop Bronze Stix. Have you tried them? Laguna Beach and La Jolla Cove are light, non-orange shades.
Do you feel the Fenty bronzing sticks, Mario sticks or charlotte tilbury cream bronzer is better, smoother, longer lasting? I have so many bronzers but I have very dry skin and most are quite balmy but not super long lasting g. I have the CT one already but don’t use it often. I’m wondering what’s best for hot weather travel. Thanks Amanda for all your help your hard work on this video. It’s great!
Fantastic video! I love your declutter videos, they are sooo incredibly informative. You really can tell that you put so much effort into them! Have you tried the Illamasqua bronzer sticks? It's a shame there isn't a shade in the Danessa Myricks Balm Contour that works for you, since it is a beautiful product! Light 1 works perfectly for my light neutral/warm olive skin 🎉
Which of your bronzers would you say lean more midway between bronzer and contour? I have an olive undertone and I'm super pale but I also have pinkness in my skintone (it is super hard to explain). I cannot use bronzers that lean even slightly orange or yellowy because the yellow ones turn orange on my skin.
The Elf putty bronzer, the lightest, is very cool toned. Honestly, even I consider it a little too grey, but I already have quite a lot of grey in my face, and therefore, it's too much. Maybe you'll like it if you're looking for an affordable creamy product. An absolutely perfect powder bronzer that's cool toned is the Milani Silky Matte, the 02, not the lightest. I seriously dropped my jaw when I looked in the mirror after a full application. It is the absolute perfect shade if you can't wear orange or yellow type bronzers, and it gives such a healthy sheen! Prettier than some of my cream or liquid bronzers (but I'm still looking for my holy grail... based on reviews, I'm interested in the Dynessa Myricks Power Bronzer and the Rare Beauty Warm Wishes stick, but in both cases I'm not sure what shade to pick with my cool toned Casper face. BTW, the Mega Bronzer in Cool by Revolution Beauty is probably also a great powder option for you. It leans cool, but also has a reddish-brown tone in it, which is great for those with an olive undertone. It's perfect for me in summer, but I've worn it in winter too. Yes, it's once again powder, but despite the fact the word Mega says sth about the amount you get, I've actually finished that entire bronzer, and will eventually rebuy. If I find a great cool toned (whether semi contour or with some pink) in cream, I'll try to find this video again and let you know. Unfortunately, Amanda's video doesn't help me because everything looks orange on my screen 😮😢. I wish she'd put it next to a contour shade or a known cool toned and known orangey shade to compare.
I think this video would look a lot more appealing if you filmed above a table or plain surface. The cream carpet cheapens the video, adding unnecessary texture & makes our eyes search for dirt, which is a shame because the information you’re conveying is so thorough and well said! Not trying to be mean, just wanted to give some feedback!
As an extremely pale person with blue undertones who cannot possibly tan ever, I am on a forever quest to find a bronzer that doesn't make me look like a Clementine. So thank you for this video
Totally understand that a very warm orangey bronzer doesn't work for your pale skintone. Even those of us with medium skintones like me or people with tan, deep or richer skintones can not always use an orangey bronzer either. I personally do prefer neutral to golden shade in winter and more coppery/red based brown shades in summertime. But orange is aweful on me. That being said, I'm confused about what you mean with blue undertone on pale skin? I'm pretty sure that blue, purple and red undertones only exist in richer complexion. Pale skin can have neutral, pink, yellow or olive undertone but blue....can't imagine this.

@@Thamazgha-tamurth-enegh Hmm! Well, I'm not a makeup artist, and never wear foundation, so the only context I have for my undertone is concealer, lipstick, blush and bronzer. Firstly, my veins at my wrist look BRIGHT blue, and I was told that's a way to tell? I know with lipstick it HAS to have a 'blue based red' to work and not clash with me, orangey reds are my nemesis. I know 'winter' colors flatter me best clothing wise. Pale lilac blushes make me look most alive, so that's what blush I wear (specifically, Trixie Stix Cream Blush - Baby right now). Purple eye shadows manage to look natural on my eyes (and sometimes completely merge with my skin and vanish if they are not pigment dense), for some reason, as do dark reds (the biggest clash is yellow). I always go for the palest concealer in a line, and the palest normally still looks too yellow/orange on my skin. And I've never found a bronzer that just doesn't look bright orange on me. So, I have no professional idea, but I've just gone through life telling anyone who works in makeup 'I am BLUE, trust me', and so far that's resulted in the best recommendations, lol. I did have one person tell me I have an olive undertone, but then they gave me something that again turned orange on me, so I don't know how much I trust them. Anyway, I'm sure you know more than I do, I've been befuddled for years! 🙂

i wish she would make chapters. nikki la rose made a fantastic similar video

I'm such A BIG FAN of your content and detailed reviews 💞
Ohhh, but NOT A FAN of this set-up where we can't see you, or your face, and only hearing your voice. Especially when the video is only showing a blank beige background and there's no product being shown, but just your voice. It feels weird.
I don’t like cream bronzers
It’s not about you. Nobody asked.
