The weight of an ebike is inversely proportional to the charge on the battery. They are so difficult to push, especially with luggage on.
Well done to the two of you, I love your adventures and your generally positive outlook.
It was torture 😂 the ebikes themselves are 37kg, I imagine the gear was a good 20kg on top, but nothing was going to stop us getting to that finish line with our bikes 💪🏼. Thank you for tuning in as always 😊

Well done Nic and Sam that was a great adventure which also looked a test of endurance. Fantastically filmed and the music made it so enjoyable to watch. The scenery was amazing, looked so peaceful too.....was good to hear you mention Lord Oynx (how is the little dude?) No suggestions as of yet for your next challenge but will let you know if one comes to mind. Looking forward to your Caddy conversion...I've swb for work but thinking about buying a lwb for a conversion I'm sure you'll both have some great ideas...thanks guys take care and keep the vlogs rolling👍
Thank you Ian, the plan was to actually go on the adventure with Onyx but sadly it wasn’t my turn to have him so he’ll have to wait until next time, I’m sure he’s glad he escaped this one 😂. Thank you for the lovely feedback on our editing too, means a lot, we were slightly conscious of all the wind noise but then we thought, ‘that’s real life for you’ 😄
We are half way through the build now, hopefully we will get to share it in December, I think the LWB caddy would be a good shout for a conversion. I’m sure you could double it up as a work van and camper using a modular style design 😃
Nic Sam you are legends honestly I'd have been in tears and done when the batteries ran out. Take me home James and don't spare the horses lol. The fact you pushed on and were determined to bike it to the end even though you'd cycled 250 well done both of you. Next can we have a challenge that doesn't involve you both having to be in the rain for most of it. Rain when you have to be in it can make it so much more trying and tiring ;)

Not knowing anything about the ebike i was wondering. The mechanical aspect of the system recharging itself when you go into pedal mode, would be be possible to duplicate this to make double the pedal power output and therefore double the charging capabilities ? you know what i mean 🤕@@nicroams
Get places faster if stop wasting time running ahead to film you coming closer to the camera for that footage lol get a normal push bike haha.
I think we did a total of 6 across the entire trip because it was too tiring 😂. But we’ve got to agree, it makes for better viewing than our backs and head close ups 😝. That’s a potential for our next travel challenge, cycling to somewhere in Europe maybe ☺️

Agh thank you and don't feel like that! Van life is hard, hunting for resources nearly every day but not going to lie, it's fun switching things up, deffo give another mode of transport ago 😊
