Dr. Mindy Pelz really breaks down the positive affects of extended fasts..for weight loss but more so for stem cell growth, cell regeneration, immune system reboot and many many more health benefits. I agree that its not to be taken lightly but definitely a positive if incorporated properly and safely. I highly recommend it to people as it reversed my auto immune disease as well as sibo no longer present. Sometimes the body has to go without in order for it to go within and remove senescent cells. Cheers!
Thank you, Autumn. I continue to learn something new each episode. Picked up your new Summer Meal Plan and no more food fatigue for us! Love the deliciousness and ease of these meals. They’re all bangin’👊
this is a great video as always, thank you! I'm still scratching my head a bit over what exactly is meant by a non-fasting day. I've been wondering this for awhile now. If I have a non-fasting day where I'm not snacking but still having a three meal structure, isn't that technically still intermittent fasting? I guess I don't understand what about that is consider "non-fasting." Is it just that the fasting window is shorter than about 12 hours?
I fast daily 15 hours. However I am drinking coffee so breaking my fast with creamer in my coffee is not good? However I can’t believe that that is the reason why I can’t get rid of my belly fat. I’m 57 and workout 4-6 times a week lifting weights, walking and spinning maybe 2x/week. I’ve upped my protein, stopped snacking and just can’t seem to get my weight to budge. Incredibly frustrating 😢
What are your thoughts about the Mediterranean Keto? I am coming off of a 4 year whole food plant based diet, but it is not working as well post menopause. I do not eat animals, but am starting to put fish, dairy and eggs back into my diet? Also, thank you for including information for those of us that are over 50.
Im not quite to menopause. But have recently experienced the same. My whole life i felt my best with a plant based diet. But it no longer serves me well. I've had to begin incorporating eggs, some dairy, and fish as well.
@@briannehill7583 That is what I am finding as well....clearly our bodies are changing and it seems that our diet must change as well. Searching for different paths for sure. Thanks for responding Brianne!

Do you ever find you have any difficulties with recovery time post workout? I believe you don't eat right after your workout, correct?

When is the last day of the summer challenge?
Thank you for all the information.
When is the next challenge? 😊
Will adding unsweetened soya milk to coffee break a fast?
Yes. It contains significant protein and a few carbs.
Yes- try adding full fat like heavy cream or MCT oil to coffee to get more benefits during fasting
Is this sound echoing lots and hard to listen to. I think she needs a better sound room to talk in
